This one was trickey

I love all the books but Ill narrow it down to a few

Dragon Reborn- Love how it doen't focus on Rand as much as it does on others

But a bit too much Egwene, every scene with the girls was Eg's POV

Great Plot and character development

Fires of Heaven- Love the big character developments. Also kind of like the lack of Perrin. A lot better than TSR in my opinion

Lord of Chaos- The longest book in the series. This marks Rands becoming a lot colder and harder. Also some great Mat, Egwene, and minor characters.

Thw winner is... LoC!

There are parts of every book that I like but the only one that stands out well above the others would have to be Knife of Dreams. That one I don't ever look forward to reading, though, due to the short scene between Rolan and Perrin. For the most part, my favorite book is the one I'm currently reading.

I have three favorites

I love TDR because of the Mat plot and Rand being loony most of the book :D

Also I like TFOH maybe that's just cuz that's the one I'm re reading right now but I remember liking it last time too

In the end though it all started at the beginning I love TEOTW best.

The Shadow Rising, hands down.

The first book I read in the series. Everyone had a great moment in this book. Because of the Rhuidean sequence, it is by far the book with the largest, most epic scope.

Think of any of the main characters in this series, and they probably had a great scene in this book.

It's just the crown jewel of the series.

My favourites would have to be Knife of Dreams, and the 5-7 book sequence. In the end I had to go with KoD because Mat has finally grown up, he isn't getting pushed and bossed around and he is able to be himself. The Egwene sequence is brilliant and made her one of my favourite characters. It just goes to show how great a writer RJ is. He HAD TO slow down and explain some stuff in books 8,9,10 but he brought it down like a hammer in Knife of Dreams, and set up AMOL to be AMAZING.

Just what i think to. The Mat/Thom story is awesome, i did have some greath laughts and some good chills down my back when i did read the last book (KoD). The story is awesome and i cant se any book being my favorite, i just see it as 1 story. All the books did build up the complete story in a very good way, and i wouldnt say that any of them are better than anyone else in the series.

I did love the Mat, Egwene and Elayne storyline in the last book though, the Rand storyline was a little "weak" i think, but it will take alot of place in AMOL.

Elayne will become queen now, Mat still have to resque Moiraine (and i realy love to read and laugh with mat again) and Egwene have to take control over the white tower from within (this will be epic to ill think).

My vote goes to Shadow Rising for cover to cover awesomeness.

But my favorite ending to a book was, by far, Lord of Chaos. When a kidnapped/tortured Rand goes Lews crazy to get out and Perrin leads a troupe to the battle at Dumai's Wells. Then Taim (I think) tells the Aes Sedai to "Kneel or Be Knelt" one of my favorite quotes in the entire series.

I'm not quite sure what my favorite book in the series is. I've read books 1-5 probably 2-3 times, books 6 and 7 twice and the rest just once. I am on my way through another read through, on book 8 now, which I always remember people saying is one of the most boring books, or something like "books 7 through 10 sucked because they were so boring" or something.  But I must say that after this last read through, I have thoroughly enjoyed books 7 and 8, I have actually found the politics (borderlands army meeting, Andor nobles) quite interesting.  One of the things that has been driving me nuts since book 6 is how badly Egwene would let Romanda and Lelaine walk over her, but when I got to the part in book 8 where she lays the smack down and tells them she will give them penance if they don't show proper respect for her position, I loved it so much I giggled uncontrollably(sp?

).  After I finish this read through of the series I think I can safely say what my favorite book is, but until then I think my favorite book is probably book one, mainly because it is the beginning, but also because it is just stuffed full of so many cool things (Shadar Logoth, The Ways, Manetheren stories, the Blight, the Green Man, etc.).  I also love the feeling I get when I get to introduce people to the series with such a cool book like Eye of the World.  It always leaves new comers wanting to know more and more and I just slap them in the face and tell them they will find out later.  Ok I will stop.
