Technically Lor, I was the one who voted for Liath.  You're right that he's been pushing for it since she posted, but I was the one who came in first and placed a vote.  I don't like voting on Day 1, but now that we've had plenty of posts and conversations, I feel ready enough to start participating more.  I found that post extremely suspicious, although I do understand that it could be taken as just an innocent suggestion.  But then we could WIFOM that one to death, based on whether she knew it could be taken that way and said it anyway......etc, etc.

 

So basically, I'm placing my vote on the most suspicious person in the game for me, and I will change that if another player becomes either more suspicious, or Liath posts something to make me believe she's innocent.

 

To sum up here, I'm not defending Mynd, lol.  That is just a death sentence.  ;D

Sorry about getting frustrated, I know I can be sensitive and passionate but it is really best to get it out rather than not! This happens every time I'm innocent in a game. Which is a bit disturbing, I seem scummy to people? Hmmm... Oh yes and "Lia" or "Liath" works fine for me, it's not "Lianth" though. Anyways...

Ok, our Healer has not been revealed or been killed, and that's still a plus for us.  The way I see it, there are three mafia players in play.  We took out their symp based on a hunch that paid off and the people I suspect as mafia have still yet to deny that the Mafia killed Vemy not Talya.  That's because there are only two roles who would know for a fact that Talya was killed by the Assasin......

I considered both your and her votes serious, because neither were changed until the end of the 'day'. *shrugs*  Actually, since his going after Thorum could be a ruse, I'm still open to the possibility that Thorum could be the other Evil Elf, playing a very deep game by voting for an evil and keeping his vote there.

And why would declaring yourself an assassin win our trust? I've always thought it was better to get rid of any assassins, as they only make everything much more complicated.

First, it was a hunch more than anything.  The same reason that we lynch people, only it was my decision to make.  Talya was acting far too trusting of me.  A lot of times, I grow suspicious of anyone who DOESN'T think I am mafia.  I actually thought she and Vemy were Mafia together, but obviously Vemy was not.  If she turned out innocent, it would have led my suspiciouns in another direction.

 

Thorum, there is only one reason to take out the Vig and that's to protect the mafia.  Now that I am out in the open, we can debate on who I should target tonight.....and I believe that will depend on who we lynch today.  Healer knows what to do tonight as well.....can't have any angry mafia gunning for my head this time.  ;)

 

I think by shear odds we can have this thing wrapped up.  I'm going to try something very unique, if the Mod won't mind.  I'm going to let us also VOTE on who I will choose to target as my Vig kill.  Once we have all decided who should be lynched, I would like each of you to vote in [glow=yellow,2,300]yellow[/glow] who you would like me to target.  I will target the player once we reach a majority....but first, let's get to lynchin! 

 

The information we get from today's lynch should narrow down our picks considerably.  I have my thoughts again....but let's hear from some more people first.

Fascinating reveal, Mynd.  But there are a few things that make me interested with this one. 

 

It just says Assassin, not Vigilante.  Wouldn't Barmy say it was a Vigilante role if it was an innocent?  I'll bet the Assassin is a Psycho Killer role and Solo Win!  Maybe Rudolph on Crack or something?

First, there's this statement from right after the first night.  Explain yourself.  Why "assume" the assassin is a psycho killer role if you yourself were the assassin?

 

So why else would the mafia kill Vemy if not to set Cosmic up for a lynch?

Then there's this about Vemy being killed.  Your statement implies that cosmic is innocent.  But what if he was mafia and the kill was to throw us off?  Etc.  The WIFOM doesn't help anything, and I find it suspicious that you're trying to "prove" cosmic's innocence this way.

 

The other top suspect on my list is Loreina.  Frankly, I find her reasoning that Mynd and I are mafia together and so scared of Liathiana's random vote that we would try to get her lynched a bit weak.

Its actually quite simple to explain, but I appreciate the question.....

 

Originally, I was trying to cast myself as a normal innocent and that statement was to detur the mafia from thinking I was the Vig.  If I was the Vig, I would know the answer to that question, right?  It wasn't until this whole mess with Loreina that I started thinking that the odds are better for us if I were to go ahead and reveal.  If we lynch a mafia and target the right player tonight, then we begin Day 3 with only one mafia left.

 

I was waiting for someone to come out and say "Hey, how can you be so sure the Vig didn't kill Vemy instead?"  but alas, my accusers did not.  This is because they KNEW I was right and didn't deny it. Only the Vig and the Mafia knew for a fact that Vemy was the Mafia target.

 

Also, by creating a Vigilante Vote system, we essentially are getting a second lynch....which will be quite telling once our Day 2 lynch victim is revealed.  Savvy?

 

It is quite possible that Cosmic Panda is indeed mafia, but that is quite risky to target the very player that he had been fussing with.  See how fast Lia was in posting "Gee, let's go after those who were arguing with Vemy and Talya?"  I recall you fussing with him as well, only to change your vote at the last minute....hmmm.  But I digest....

Well, the first votes were the only ones I had to go on. If I can form a theory based on the voting patterns, I prefer to do that rather than random vote or bandwagon. Even if it's a flawed theory, it's still using my brain, and that's what I like to do in Mafia.  :)

Do Mafia know who the Symps are? I was just assuming they didn't so either one of them could've been the Mafia kill.

 

Considering the answer to my question was no, the Mafia didn't know the Symp, how could I determine who killed who? It seemed just as likely to me that they killed Tayla and the Assasin could've killed Vemy. I don't remember you saying you knew for sure the Assasin killed Tayla but perhaps I wasn't reading deep enough.

 

Is Loreina really Mafia? I do'nt know. Why would she defend me if she was? Trying to set me up so when I am lynched and proven innocent, she doesn't look scummy? However, I seem like an easy enough innocent lynch to pull off so why would she go to the trouble of it all in the first place? She could just agree with y'all's "reasoning" and it'd be easy enough to get another innocent lynched so the Mafia could live another day. And people would be focused more on Verbal and Mynd for jumping on me first. So I'm not ready yet to vote for her until I see more.

 

What do we have on Hybrid that makes him suspicious? Why Thorum Mynd?

 

Honestly I'm more suspicious of Tigara :P He hasn't posted much and what he has posted is mostly light fluff. Nothing to make anyone ring any bells on him other than speaking up to say I might be in a bad mood. He looks like he's just trying to stay in the middle: enough posts so he doesn't appear inactive, nothing very radical in his posts accusing anyone with solid reasons (Mynd playing a bit less eccentric?) and he's still "laying low" even though he says his finals are finished. Still packing? Can't you give anybetter reasons than "I agree" and just jumping on the quickly forming bandwagon? Also, wasn't Tayla sticking up for him? Thats suspicious as well.

 

So my vote is for [glow=red,2,300]Tigara[/glow] until he can make a case to me.

We are getting pretty close to crunch time here.....I think we have about 6 hours or so to get a majority.  I hate to say it, but Lore was coming at me with both guns from the beginning of the game, but there was suddenly no doubt in her mind that I was the Vigilante.  Myndrunner, the king of smoke and mirrors, and deception....yet she believed me when I claimed to be the Vigilante.  *shakes head*

As to Lia, I like having a role. If I'm a roleless innocent, I get bored easy and don't contribute much. :P If I have a role, I'm much more interested since my night actions can affect the game, not just my vote. Simple as that.

Lia, I have nothing on Hybrid, except his vote on me, which is strange to say the least. If I did, I'd have voted him.  And I'm not defending anyone.  I just thought their actions were more suspicious than yours and fit into my theory. I've no ulterior motive and no scumminess to hide. I have no idea if you are Evil or not.

 

I don't know about Thorum either. 

 

Mynd, makes no difference if I believe you or not.

As a matter of fact, Mynd, that's a really weird thing to say, seeing as how people are expected to unvote when a role is declared. That is the reason for the declaration after all. Belief has nothing to do with it. You probably aren't a Vig, but a true assassin, intent on being the lone survivor.

If the best you can do is get more innocents killed, we would be better off without you. I vote [glow=red,2,300]Mynd[/glow].

Not really wierd...for me that is.  Actually, if you read Barmy's night recap, you will see that only Vemy's toys were sabotaged.  Talya just didn't show up for work that day. Why? Because the Jolly one wanted me to give her the pink slip!

 

The truth of the matter is Lorei, your theory really didn't make much sense at all and seemed to me like a desparate attempt to get people off Lia.  You have been gunning for me since the beginning, which is why I am puzzled you guys didn't choose me to be night killed instead of Vemy.  Plus, we need a majority on someone since we have some lazy elfs around here....

 

Anyways, your death will point us in the right direction of who to kill.
