Snow White Fast Mafia (GAME OVER!)

Welcome to Snow White Fast Mafia, where some of our favorite characters from the tale have gone WICKED! Literally!  You see, the Wicked Witch is back and this time instead of poisoned apples, she has poisoned the MYND of the creatures of the forrest.  It is up to the Maginficent Seven of Small Stature to solve the case.....but could one or more of their own be working for the WITCH??!?!?

 

This will be a Fast Mafia, with 8-10 players (we must have 7!) with some special tweaks to the rules, but otherwise a pretty normal mafia game as compared to that Watchmen mess.  Let's aim to HI-HO ourselves to Mafia land by Monday, October 27th around 3pm Eastern Standard Time.  Cool beans? 

 

Here are YE OLD MAFIA RULES for this game:

 

Days - 24 hour intervals with deadlines given at the turn of each phase.  All lynch votes shall be glowed red with unvotes glowed before voting again.  If a majority is reached before the deadline and I am available, I shall end the phase immediately and proceed to night.  If a majority is not reached by the number specified, then a random player shall be lynched. Make sense?

 

Nights - 24 hour intervals with deadlines given at the turn of each phase.  All night actions must be submitted by the deadline or they will be forfiet for that phase.  If all night actions have been received and I am online, then I shall end the night phase immediately and proceed to day.  Savvy?

 

Communication - all communication in regard to this game must take place in the thread, unless otherwise granted by me.  Of course, you may bug me with any questions about the game and I may even present you with some options if you really are stumped, just not in a way that makes it unfair for the others. 

 

Quoting - you can quote anyone and anything you wish.  If you don't know how to manipulate my quotes by now, then you just haven't been playing mafia enough.  Of course I tend to frown on such behavior, but there are some who practice the art of the "false reveal" in games.  A despicable act, but it sometimes generates results.

 

Behavior - no flaming, taking the game personal, or inactivity will be tolerated.  Warnings will be posted in the public thread with a time ticker.  This is going to be truly fast mafia so do try and keep up.  If you check in at least once per day (as in post), you should be fine.  Calling each other names is fine, but flaming a fellow player on anything but the game material is forbidden.  Also, don't take the game personal....its all fun.

Coroner - Prince Charming (me) will be giving out coroner reports, so don't worry your britches about who the dead are and who they weren't.

Is this a Fast mafia, or a Mafia with few players Mynd? I haveto say that your WAtchemen fast mafia was the slowest fast mafia i've ever been in  :P

Yeah, this one will truly be fast.  Watchmen dragged a bit for a multitude of reasons, primarily inactivity, but also I got bogged down with some stuff too.  We'll just go 24 hour phases this time and the nature of this one is a lot more simple than Watchmen was.  I may even go to 12 hour night phases if you all think you can keep up?

ill try to keep up but with school its hard.  i have classes most of the week and the nights i tend to study.  yeah i know what is studying? anyways i will do a better job of participating next time these games are fun but can this one be more normal please?  watchmen gave me a headache.

No worries, I will likely keep it 24 hours.  I'm sorry Watchmen Mafia gave you a headache, I was trying out a wild idea that I got when I watched the Watchmen trailer.  I hoped it was at least fun?

 

Anyways, we need at least 2 more people.  9 & 10 are blue because they are optional spots.  We can go with only 8 if we need to, but we can allow for up to 10.  Anyone else?  Any mafia players who haven't been around in a while?  Anyone who is Mafia-curious out there?

I seem to be woefully inept at surviving mafia games lately. :P I've died in 4 in the past month, all withing the first 3 full phases.

Day 1 Begins....

The sun rose on the small woodland cottage of the dwarves seven just like any other day.  Each yawned, stretched, got their coffee, checked their email, dressed, and then prepared for their journey to the mine for another days work.  HI HO!!! HI HO, ITS OFF TO WORK WE GO.....*whistling ensues*

 

....but the Dwarves 7 begin to notice something odd about the forrest this day.  The creatures of the forrest aren't singing along as usual, the trees have lost thier splendor and the sky has grown grey.  Suddenly, a tiny chipmunk hobbled into the middle of the path.

 

 

"My, what a cute little chipmunk," said Catina, "let me pe....AAAAHHHH!!!! ITS RABIT!!!!"

 

"Um, no I think it's a chipmunk," replied JLM, "yes I do believe it is a chipmunk, yes?"

 

"I believe the term is RABID," observed Verbal, "which is a form of..."

 

"Can it, Verb" shouted Miss, "look at its eyes!! They are glowing red!!!!"  The evil chipmunk chased the dwarves aroudn the forrest for a while when suddenly, it had Tigara cornered.  Its beady red glowing eyes fixed on Tigara's jugular while its fangs dripped with the anticipation of the blood it would taste.  It lept forward and Tigara closed his eyes......SCHNICK!!!!

 

Tigara opened his eyes to see the chipmunk pinned to the ground by a shiny pickaxe.  "Didn't know whose messin wit!" snarled SammiFlip, as he pulled his pickaxe out of the very splattered chipmunks back.

 

"Something is just not right, friends," said Liathiana, "somehow the forrest has become....HAUNTED!!!"

 

INDEED, readers...the forrest has become a place of evil, and the Wicked Witch, step-mother to our dear friend Snow White, has returned to rule!  The creatures of the forrest are her subjects......and perhaps a few dwarfes as well!!

Day 1 has begun!!

It is now Day 1, which shall end at 3pm Tuesday Easter Standard Time.  That's tomorrow people!  With 8 players, it will take a majority of 5 to clinch said lynch.  If a majority is not reached by the deadline, then a random player shall be lynched.  Good luck!!  ;)  Did I mention it was Day 1?

Ah, bloomin' chipmunk. Trying to kill me and all. Just my luck. We should have never left for work. All we do is whistle and get attacked by evil squirrels.
