No I've got no idea, my point was neither does he.  With only 10 people in this game I'm tempted to suggest a no lynch for today but it'll prolly get me lynched so I won't.

Now then, back to business.... you see, Verbal's gambit here is to wait for someone else to look suspicious and then join the likely bandwagon before it begins.  By coming out and accusing JLM with basically no evidence, I stirred a reaction from one of the mafia who has been waiting for this moment....and the chap that took the bait this time was Verbal. 

 

Now, his mafia cronies will try to dissuade everyone off of his butt until the inevitable lynching occurs.....let's see who comes to his defense OR who tries to turn it around on me......these will be your remaining mafia!

thats a lot of talk for someone with a clean conscious.  you are not making any sense.  i think you are mafia and trying to create confusion.  i havent played online before but i have played offline many times and you look suspicious.

See what I mean folks?  The Mafia come right out and defend their partner, just like I predicted!  The only question remains, is this it?  Are there two or three mafia we have to find?  If only two then I think we have found our mafia.  Remember, that most mods usually match up at least one newbie with an experienced player.  I take it that Catarina Sedai is the learner, and Verbal her Master!

Hmm, Mynd is suspicious but the Myndwagon seems to be rolling along a little too fast.  I'll give things a chance to develop further before I vote.  We've still got some time to reach a majority.

Actually no, b/c if we don't reach a majority vote the one with most votes still dies.  If I had wanted to vote for a no lynch I would have *glowed* it. 

 

Guys if you've never played with Mynd before, um this is how he always is on day one, in fact this is just how he is mafia game or not.  He hates for nothing to happen on day one just to have a majority bandwagon pop up an hour before dedaline, so he stirs the pot.  The scary thing is he does the same whether he's mafia or innocent. 

 

I'm starting to see why some people never vote on day one. :-\  I'm leaning toward Verbal but it's total metagaming so I'll just sit tight for a few hours and see what happens.

- Mynd jumps on Verbal after supposedly bating him to action

- Mynd does what Mynd does and slings mafia accusations around

- Catina quickly votes Mynd after he assumes Verb to be mafia (could be defending Verb or could be that Catina is actually very suspicious of Mynd)

- Krugster bandwagons on Mynd

- Nae follows, adding defensive remarks for Verb...is this suspicious?

- JLM and Hybrid take more time to review the situation (could be as simple as that or one of them could be delaying to not look like an agreeable mafia)  ;D

 

 

Okay, I am not sure of my vote just yet either. Mynd  would seem rather suspicious if you weren't used to him doing this all the time, but that doesn't get him off the hook.

I did find it interesting that Verb jumped on Mynd so fast, but it almost seems too foolish of a move if he really was mafia...but then again he could be hoping we think that and overlook (counter tactics and diversions) hmmm

With this being all we have to go on thus far, I will probably vote for Verb or Mynd by the end of the day...though obvioulsy both could still be innocent. So unless somebody wants to say something throwing themselves under the bus too....those seem to be my options so far.

LOL, I'm usually one of the ones that doesn't vote on Day 1, for the simple reason that it is too random.  If you want to metagame, you don't usually do it on Day 1, though.  That's why I decided to "jump the gun" and vote for Mynd.

 

I actually think that he is innocent, but that's metagaming too, and I refuse to remove a vote on the basis of Day 1 metagaming.  Why?  Because it's not reliable, and my guess that he's innocent is only that - a guess with no basis in logic or concrete evidence.

 

I think I've just taking a liking to voting for Mynd.  ;)
