Tactics comes with experience, Hybrid.  For me, it took about ten games, all of which I died in, to really get my own strategy down.  And I'm still working on the strategy.  ;)

From what I've read on here of the rules and looking at other games, it seems about the same. We always put the roles on paper slips and drew them secretly out of a hat to decide who was what, instead of the numbers you're using. Obviously not something you can do over the internet lol. We also assign one person as a neutral 'narrator' who makes up the story and decides when it is day or night. And each person makes up their own name and character to play. I think I'll catch on pretty quick. =) I'm excited, I haven't played in a while!
