It could bring a tear of pride to my eye - Luthine has come into her full powers as a mafia player.  ;D  Let's celebrate with a little game called "How Do You Expect to Support  A Known Liar, and Get Away With It?" and see how far she has come, shall we?

 

Logic twisting is fun, but it only works if you don't leave holes the size of trucks in your reasoning. It's way to early for a quote barage, so let's just keep it simple.

 

Dude gets caught lying. You still support him. - this is fact by the way.

When asked about it, you come up wih an excuse almost as bad as his. "Well, he said he forgot." Uh huh.

Then you say you will vote for me, becuase Dude did, because I am the most obvious choice for him to try and get out of the way.

*Not because anyone had accused me of any mafia type behavior*

 

That would be different than getting caught lying, and then trying to rush a lynch against the person that poses the biggest threat to ruining your evil plan. Which, for those interested, is mafia behavior.

 

But back to Luthine - who up until today was all about using logic, evidence, and connecting the dots in an orderly fashion.

 

And by the way, that plan is working. There are 11 players left, and we know we have killed the two bogeymen of mafia, so we are not in a desperate situation by any means.

 

Which is why Dude's panic to get me lynched might strike some as odd. Or it might not - like If you're evil.

 

Calling my moves uncharacteristic would of course be another mafia ploy. I've called out low layers the entire game. Interestingly, so had you until today. What could have happened? How would you explain your own uncharacteristic behavior?

 

And It's not finger pointing to scare people. It's finger pointing at mafia, so that we can lynch them. And this post is about pointing that finger at you.  ;)

 

And as much as you would love to see that last bit, I think I will hang around as long as I can to keep foiling evil plans, thank you very much. reply?

This is crazy - now Dae is saying that he likes the idea of going with Vemy's early assertions against me. This is an echo of Luthine's same statement. So while I am dying over having to point out thatat liars in this game are bad, I'll jot down a couple more observations.

 

Vemy is not an underated player. Vemy is one of the best players on DM and is craftier than a fox.

 

Having said that, using anyone's "instincts" from Day 1 is nuts. Day 1 in this game, like most others, is full of joke lynches and accusations and general hellos. It is not an evidence day, and the only people who ever try to use day 1 for anything are mafia, and it's because they already have all of the information that we are looking for.

 

I don't know exactly what is happening here, but I see a list of people supporting a liar on a lynch based on what the liar told them.

 

He's trying to use May becuase she is as close to a confimred innocent as we have, which is as lame as it gets, and he's probably hoping like mad that Loki takes longer to show up.

I would just like to point out that in no way am I supporting the dude. I'm willing to lynch either Wes, Dude or Jelly. We will get information we need out of lynching any of them which I've been saying for days.

This game is going to hold the record for empty promises.  It is still day, and voting is still open. No one is holding anyone back.

 

But, if you continue to vote with Dude, you are supporting a liar. It's not a threat, just a fact. So don't go saying you don't support The Dude when you actually do.

I'm not sure what all the confusion is about on this day.  I know there have been a ton of intertwining stories and opinions and theories, but at the end of all that, isn't it still Mafia 101 to lynch the liars?

 

If you are innocent, you just wouldn't lie - it makes no sense and is actually harmful to the innocent team.

 

If you are evil, you lie like it's your job, because, well.....it is.  But you try not to get CAUGHT lying.

 

So I'm a bit confused why we aren't all on the same page here...?

Guys, I don't mind fighting for the team. And I'm fine with players having opinions and going with instincts. But will somebody please explain to me how any of this makes sense? I've never seen anything like it.

As to the Blig role thing - that's one way of looking at it.

 

Another is that the mods made a rule, and bcx never reported an LOA, so technically, they had an obligation to uphold the rule. They chose to do this by replacing a player, which is great. But I think that it is fair to speculate as to why. The game is the game.

 

It is unfair to question a reported LOA, so ganging up on a player that had been away, or questioning their motives is shady, but trying to divine the mechanics of the game is just playing.

 

But, that's fine and all a matter of opinion.

 

Why are you using something like that to try and build a case against me when you are the one that outed Dude?

And I would ask everyone to please read all of the posts - skimming at this point is not going to give you a complete look at what happened and I am still very much in favor of voting from an evidential standpoint.

Don't let the mafia win becuae they all grouped up to swamp the game with posts.

loki, i'm happy to lay that last vote down on DPR.  Dae's been saying he wants to do it though, for the sake of not risking the finder.  like i said, though, i'd love to do it just for the satisfaction of bringing the hammer down.  i'll go with whatever the consensus is.  by all means, talk it out with dae, i'm good for whatever.
