Hi!

Well, I've been reading these boards for quite sometime, originally to have a look at some information about RJ's passing.  But I found myself compelled to stay and read.

I think I'll find my way over to the communities and see what it's like to actually make a post as opposed to just lurking and reading like I have been.

Well, just a little teaser about myself.

I'm 27, I enjoy reading, baking, roller blading (when there isn't snow or ice), I also enjoy movies and TV.  I love to read fantasy books, and I enjoy Science fiction TV and movies.  For some strange reason that I can't figure out, I don't like science fiction books or fantasy TV - I don't know why.  And of course, procrastinating when I should be working is always important.  ;)

Hopefully that suffices enough for you to want to get to know me.

Can't wait to meet you all.

Hey Floating, hope to see you soon in the Orgs. If you like procrastinating, then you might consider joining the Band of the Red Hand. We're all great procrastinators there. ;D

Hey there, Floating  :D

Why procrastinate today, when you can do it tomorrow ?  ;D

Yep, come on over to the Community side... *nods repeatedly*

Ok ok... I don't usually go around promoting any org over another, but since you mentioned your love of TV and Movies, I will point you towards the Seanchan org.  Yeah yeah... Seanchan chain women up and like to grow their finger nails long... really we have nothing to do with that.  Our public board is devoted to TV, Movies and Gaming discussions.  Drop by... check it out and if you like it, join up and you can learn about the DM mafia...

Now I must go make funnies in two other newbie posts to cleanse the dirty feeling of recruiting.

Welcome to DM.

Elgee, Raena,  thanks for the welcome!.

Emperor,

Thanks! I think I'll have to make my way down to those boards and check them out first!.

*files down nails to help fit in*

Howdy, and welcome to DM, Floating!!

I totally agree with and represent all of the above quoted statements ;)

I've only got 2 !  :P

You applying for no 3, Rahlian ?  ;D

We don't use our Warders that way, Ata ... that's what the Waiters and ... uhm ... other unwary people are for *grins and winks*

I must admit, though ... it DOES take a special and brave man to bond a Red  ;D

Floating, I love reading both Fantasy & SciFi, but I seldom enjoy them on TV or Films ... maybe because they never remain true to the books.  I loved the first few Harry Potter movies, precisely because they DID stay very close to the books.  The rest of them weren't bad either, but I think that's because I have a thing for Prof Snape  ;D

Well, I think I'm safe, I don't think I'll be becoming a warder anytime soon. :)

But I generally agree with the comment about TV never really living up to one's imagination.  Thankfully though I'm not always that imagiative, I think I once read a book where all the characters appeared in my head as faceless stick figures.  Needless to say, I didn't like the book.

Besolyn,  Yay!. I'm not alone!  Thanks for reassuring me I'm not the only one with such strange tastes.  :D

Welcome to DM!

Hope you are having a great time at the moment! Procrastination is a fantastic activity! Keep it up! ;)

Do drop by the Band of the Red Hand ORG boards as there are some very exciting activities in the weeks ahead to do with music and travel.

But whatever you do at DM, have fun! :)
