For no more reason than she being the only victim that can keep us from giving the mafia two nightkills.

 

And: she might as well be mafia (about 1 chance in 5. Hey, that's enough to destroy a scientific theory :D)

Well I'm keeping my vote yes... was just speculation... weather we lynch and have a night kill or dont lynch and end up with two night kills the results would be the same.  Because the mafia have just as much chance at this point of hitting one of their team as we do since they don't yet know who each other are.

And guys, I'll remind you that te mafia do not know the other mafia, in which case the mafia could accidently kill other mafia just like we could accidently lynch an innocent.

 

So its not the end of the world for the mafia to have two night kills, its just perferable for us to have a lynch.

Dsage, like what? 8 people haven't shown up? and how often do players check the game board and post? Sorry but At this point there is not enough time for another person to jump up to a competetive vote count with FDM (I'd say at least 9 votes before I'd consider someone else).

Actually, whether we lynch or not, the results wouldn't be quite same. The odds of getting a Mafia would be slightly better if we lynch.

Lynch: something like 1 chance in 5

NightKill: 1 chance in 7

Dsage 8 hours might be alot for you, but you forget time zones (I'll only be here a couple mre hours, and then I have other things to do to), and others can't spend every minute here, as much as they would like to. So that isn't so long.

 

The thing about lynching is that in the long run it may give us more info than a N/K. As the N/k would not be planned but by one person (at least I assume one would get 2 kills) so that wouldn't give us too much insight.

 

I don't know if FDM is innocent or guilty, I only went with her because of what she said, it stood out.

No offense here, but I'm wowed by the consummate lack of playing going on. Perhaps I'm going to give mafia a break until we get people who make choices based on logical standards, as we used to.

 

AS this is the first vote the chances of getting anyone evil are low...as usual. Now we can either use that vote and choose someone with all of us, or we can not bother and allow the evils to choose two that are killed. More than likely at the end of night 1 we will end with two deaths. So are you going to be willing to allow the evils choose...or us. 

 

I have no idea how much time left, but I would imagine it wouldn't be that much longer once you start taking time zones into account and if you want anyone to change their votes!

 

This screams mafia to me. If you are going to vote for anyone in this fashion, you don't vote for an experienced player. You pick someone who is either extremely inactive, or new. You just sat there and passive-aggressively encouraged my bandwagon.

 

The mafia are not going to be going for a no kill for very obvious reasons. They are going to bandwagon their little hearts out because DPR has you all scared with a double night kill. PLEASE THINK OUT ALL THE ANGLES LADIES AND GENTS. Who needs two kills per night when the innocents are running around like chickens with their heads cut off voting for random members based on no information whatsoever? And what happens now, since you have all now jumped on a groundless bandwagon? YOU GET NO INFORMATION to use on Day 2. Since so many people bandwagoned, you are going to be scrambling around AGAIN worried about the clock, with no information to go on.

 

So, before I go out with a bang, here is my advice for this game. I suggest you heed it.

 

1. The people who are trying to be 'logical' (see Talya's quote above), but are still willing to do something completely stupid, even though they are still sort of against it. This is not an inner struggle between good and evil people. When they are laying it on too thick, it's suspicious.

 

2. People who vote based off of a members first post of the game. At best, calling all the mafia to hang out at the Opera house would have only been good for the rest of you, since I'm considered a priority target. Everyone has to list the first place they are hanging out. It would have helped to see who would have taken the bait.  ::)
