I think i liked Eye of the World and Lord of Chaos the best.

I guess i would say that i am ready for the books to end, but i dont want them to. Especially now that it is doubtful that we will have follow on books. But maybe there is a chance we still will, i just dont think it will be the same, no offense towards BS because i think he is a very good writter.

I've really enjoyed the re-reading process, looking for clues, trends, etc.  That will all stop after the last book, so in that regard I'm a bit sad.  Of course, I can't wait to read it, tho.  I also think that it is quite possible that BS will write some follow-ups.  He seems quite prolific, and after immersing himself in the books so much, he may be able to "channel" RJ.

Personally I think the Great Hunt is my favourite, for the Padan Fain/Mats Dagger/Horn of Valere/Falme buts. It starts moving fast in book 2.

Also I like Lord of Chaos and Crown of Swords, both for the development of the Black Tower and the Ashaman.

For BS sake, I hope that he only writes this one.  I am sure that he has his own stories and his own ideas that he would like to tell to leave his own stamp on this genre.  I doubt he wants to be "he who follows after" and becomes known as "that guy who finished RJ's series."

I for one am glad that it is coming to an end.  Long awaited.

Book 1 & 6 are the best. I am not sure if I'm ready for them to end though. Hopefully book 11 will tie up the lose ends but in away it will be sad to see it end

I cant pick one. The story is so blured together in my head most of the time when i want to reread a specific part it takes me half an hour just to find the book it was in. I cant wait for the last book and it has been driving me crazy that it hasnt come out yet but i understand why. Honestly i never really want the Wheel of Time to end and because it is a wheel it wont. I am however very anxious to see our beloved character get a little peace and quiet. everyone can use some of that.

I couldn't pick a favorite. What I like most happens in every book and that is the humor of the men about how the women are and vice versa etc. What I hope continues even after the last book is a web site like this will keep going. I said in a previous post that listening to your ideas of various topics is almost like reading the books with different authors. I haven't been a member long, but now I can't go to work without at least reading a few topics every day.

I just hope BS can pull off the Wow=factors that the series already has. Some of the mysteries can be solved by the reader but havent yet been noticed by the characters-the best example I can think of is the Forsaken being reincarnated. I need Rand to find out who Moridin is, and the link between them needs to be a significant part of the next book. there are so many twists RJ wove into the story that it wouldnt take much to spoil it-I hope BS has a VERY delicate touch

I think that with harriet and all of the notes on what is supposed to happen will greatly help, along with the fact that he is an avid Wheel of Time fan. also that parts of the book are already written should help to guide his hand along the correct path. Also along with 42Bonzo88 I have become a dragonmount junkie. I love this site and am on it at least twice a day.

I think book three,  The Dragon Reborn, is by far my favorite. The majority of the main characters(well all of the main and the majority of the more major smaller characters) are introduced in it, you get to see that Rand is not alone in a lot of his abilities (basically you get to see other people from Emonds field learning and dealing with a lot of the same things). You see the story lines move away from each other and then how the wheel pulls them all back together when they need to be together. But I think most importantly you get to see Rand almost torn apart...which I have my own theories about. I think it is probably one of the most pivotal books in the series. The main characters continue to grow and learn from this book on, but book three is where everything really comes together to say this is who these people are and the main roles they will have to play if everything is going to be okay in the end.
