I'm heading down to Seoul today because I hear there are 6 Nintendo Wii's in stock... Any Wii fans recommend any starter games?

I saw someone beat paper mario (beginning to end) and I just couldn't see how that game could be fun... >_>

Is Guitar Hero III out yet? *is drooling over that game*

 

Stupid Yangsan PX only has the Wii in stock when my friends go... friends who don't want one. I go check... and they are sold out and have no idea when more will come. Argh! Next try.. eBay...

I played Trauma Center for hours last night  ;D

 

I do need to jump on the Mario bandwagon and try those out. I hear they're fun.

GH3 was released Saturday night at midnight.  So technically it came out Sunday.  I will pick up my reserved copy sometime this week.

Wow, thats um.. funny.

Cause I know some pro's at that game, and they became pros for other, slighty more obvious reasons...

 

That said, The only thing 'good' about the Wii IMO, are all the damned wii jokes. :P

Yeah about that... I felt strangely immasculinated(sp).  I think the interface is novel and it's responsiveness is impressive, but not enough to carry it far with hardcore gamers.

I can see how that's true, but it's really nice for those of us who have little to no thumb-eye coordination, yet are competent enough to swing our arms in the right direction. Hooray for Wii Bowling. :D

Well, you see, us hard core gamers, spent our time playing games, and mocked those of us, who attempted to 'move' there body in the direction at which they were 'stearing' in game. The wii is basically going against our very nature!
