Death in the Artic - Mafia Game!

The ship's passengers and crew gather round a after much pointing and screaming, they decide to elect a new Captain! Captain Alys, had just put on her brand new shiny Captain's hat, when the crowd suddenly decided to lynch Icey the Iceberg (Dead Pirate Roberts) an Iceberg intent on sinking the ship!

 

Relieved that they managed to avoid killing one of their own innocents! The passengers settled in for the night, with orders to remain inside for the duration of the night. An order that was going to be disobeyed....

Wallace Conductor (Kroys) and John the Bass Player (Tayla) walked through the corridors carrying their instuments.

 

"I hate playing for this damn uppity, 1st class passengers"

 

"I know, they think they are so high and mighty"

 

They had been searching for the rest of their fellow band members but had failed to find any so far, when they stepped into the 1st class dinning hall. Except something was odd. The lights were out and there was nobody at tables waiting for their "entertainment"...

 

Then out of the shadows stepped 3 hooded figures...

 

 

 

*Bang*...*Bang*

 

And with that Wallace the Conductor lay dead on the floor, John ducked and realised he hadn't been hit, throwing his bass his attackers he ran for the door, reached it ran out into the corridor only to be killed by a fourth hooded figure who emerged out of the darkness.

 

And in 3 bloody minutes the ship's band was dead.

 

Meanwhile on the other side of the ship, the Captain's killer stalked his next victem...This one had no guards outside his door and as JP Morgan (Vemynal) lay sleeping in his bed, the killer sliped through his windor and strangled him, leaving behind a small wooden cross...

 

On the bridge the navigator did his duty steering the ship through the night's murky waters, as other people on the deck below scurried 'round, watching, waiting, plotting, planning....

 

The morning has dawned the three bodys were given their last rites, and quickly thrown over board, but as disturbing as the murder of three of their comrades was, the message spelled out in the deckchairs was even more disturbing...

 

"The 1st Class Mafia is actively recruiting and growing"...

 

Captain Alys summons the passsengers and crew, as fingers start to be pointed and the people resolve what they want to do today...

this one more so than the others. the captain's killer. is this a whole separate team? is this person just as important to catch and kill as the mafia?

Do I want you to? yes, it would broaden the innocent pool. SHould you? no. why? (i saw this question posed in another game, and i think it should be answered.) sure they already know who to hit, but if the mafia knows who is out of the closet, they are more likely to go after that person/group. it keeps the field narrow, innocents guessing.

I don't know if Vemy got one of those anonymous messages or what, but I specifically asked Ilgross, and he said I didn't kill the captain. A mistake was made somewhere, somehow. I was also correct on DPR's guilt, and I'm correct in Alys's and my newest find's innocence. I have more ways to prove my innocence, but that in itself would make people point their finger at me...so where would that get me?

Okay so maybe you weren't directly "on his team" but apparently there are evils out there in communication with each other, we got that from our first night....  and maybe they couldn't come to a conclusion on who to kill because they are all on different teams...  there for you're still evil and know who else is evil... come up with this plot to expose one of them, eliminate an evil team, making it that much more likely for your evil team to win, and you look innocent at the same time.

Wow, I don't even know who to vote for. Alys - because there was a triple kill when you were captain? Or Far Dareis Mai - because improbably enough, Vemynal actually was a finder?

 

That said, regardless of who you believe is guilty, I should hope it's obvious that we need to [glow=red,2,300]de-captain Alys[/glow] immediately:

 

1. There was a triple kill.

2. "The 1st Class Mafia is actively recruiting and growing". There is a recruiter out there so we need to stop using this captain role immediately. No good role is worth a double recruit.

the triple kill can just as well have been because of the multiple evil groups you were talking about the day before this. just because one of hte people you thought was guilty wasnt, doesnt mean that there isnt someone else around here who has a secret.

 

personally I think its weird if a Mafiacaptain would use his/her extra nightkill. would be pretty obvious that the captain is evil yes? I still think Alys is innocent.
