Sorry for making myself get killed guys. I could have been more quiet & waited in the background, not making much of a profile. But I figured thats what theyd expect of a healer, and took the chanse. At least I got to help lynch Vem.

Sorry, but you're being pretty dull.  You need to look at the big picture here, guys.  You're looking at what's right in front of you.  You're missing the rest of it!

 

Clearly the dude is playing an entirly different level from us, he's the symp, and yet he killed one of the werewolves.  I know it don't add up very good, but now, more than ever, you need to listen to me.  With the Healer gone, everything is gonna go down hill for us innocents after today.  

 

This is working out exactly as I predicted (save losing the Healer on Night 2) Our only hope is to lynch dude.  Hope the Assassin gets lucky, and work our way to eliminating the final werewolf.

 

We can do this, people.  All you need to do is trust me.  I know that sound like a lot.  But I. Am. The. Finder.  I don't know what I can do to help you believe me, but it's true.  The dude made a very risky move, fake revealing like that.  And it seems to be working to his advantage.  We can't let him get away with this.

 

I'm dead no matter what.  Whether it's today or tonight, I'm dead.  At least let me help you get the symp, if not a werewolf.  Please.

 

And please, when you are talking about how I'm not making sense, list specifics.  List quotes.  Don't simply say, "What you're saying isn't adding up"  Show me.  I have always had trouble explaining things to people when I know what they don't.  I tend to expect them to know exactly what I mean.  I know that I do this, but I am trying to get better at not doing this.  So please, help me help you.

Let's see, the Dude told us he was the finder and that Vemy was evil, he was right about Vemy being evil, but is he the true finder. Dsage claims to be the true finder but doesn't have any info for us...does this make sense to anyone else?

And either dude is telling the truth about you being innocent, damane (because he knows the werewolves) or you are a werewolf and he is trying to misdirect.

 

I don't know what to believe of dude at this point.  All I know is that we need to get him today.

damane, did you even read my post?  I said that either you are a werewolf, or an innocent.  I am leaning more towards the innocent side.  The symp knows the werewolves, therefore knows the innocents.  Quite simple to follow really.  I don't know why it's so hard for you to see it.

 

Well, I'm sticking with what I know.  Dude is the symp and must die.  I would rather get a werewolf today, but the dude is going to cause problems as the symp.

Dude knows what he's doing... he has played this game long before either of us ever joined DM.

I've been rereading, and now I have doubts. For every reason I find to vote DSage, I find another to vote the dude.

 

I'm feeling really lost about this. I hope someone with more experience can shed some more light on the situation. I am keeping my vote on [glow=red,2,300]DSage[/glow] for now, because it does seem unlikely to me that the evils would kill one of their own.

 

I have school and work tomorrow, but I'll try to check back at lunchtime.

Okay then DSage, answer me this, why, if you are the finder, waste your action on the dude? It is obvious that if you are the finder, then he isn't, and he is obviously evil. That was poorly played if that is in fact the case. Before Vemy was lynched, why were you trying to redirect everyone from Vemy and to go for the dude at that time? Yes, I understand, you were afraid that Vemy would in fact be a werewolf, and that would get everyone hook line and sinker into believing he is the finder, and the only thing you can bring out is that you viewed the dude, and that he is the symp.... I'm sorry, but that just doesn't follow in along the lines of the role of the symp, to put himself before ALL werewolves in case one werewolf was under extreme duress. Or am I just not reading it right from the way it was phrased?

I'll be nice, I'll let DSage have his rebuttal, and have a full argumentative stance against all accusations against him before I cast my vote.

Well, first off, this is my first time being the Finder.  I viewed cloud to see if I could trust him.  I realise now that viewing the dude was another bad move.  That's good.  I'll learn from that.  I viewed dude to see if he was either the symp or a werewolf.  I think it does matter.  I see that I should have viewed someone else like dude claims to, but there you go.  I made a mistake.  Now I won't make that mistake again.  That's why this is a newbie game.

 

Oh, and no, I was not trying to divert anyone from Vemy.  After dude "revealed" himself, I knew we either had a werewolf or a symp.  Why kill a probably innocent (which we now know Vemy was a werewolf, so that's good) when we could kill a known evil (the symp IS evil in my book)?  Why does that not make sense?

 

Try and put yourself in my position.  Vemy is going down fast.  Dude "reveals".  Why?  To draw me out and speed up the lynch in the process.  Vemy turns out to be evil.  Dude looks legit.  It all works out.

 

Now, I know he's the symp.  And that helps us somewhat.  That means that the werewolves have no clue what he's doing.  At this point, they don't even know who the real Finder is.  They're going to be jumping on me, because dude got a werewolf, and therefore, I look the most suspicious.  It wouldn't make sense for them to go after the dude until he has the majority of the votes.

 

There's two ways this is going down:

 

We lynch DSage:  In which case the dude will walk away all happy and smiley.  The werewolves won't waste killing the dude, and they'll work on someone else.  Thend the next day comes and you will have to decide whether to lynch dude or ignore him, like someone said so kindly of me earlier.

 

We lynch dude:  I'm dead at night, but at least that doesn't put the symp in your way tomorrow.  You got him today.  Time to work on the werewolves.

There's a third way: lynch someone else entirely and wait to see who the werewolves kill come night.

 

If either one of the dude and DSage is the symp, the werewolves won't know either who's who. They want to take out the finder, so they will kill either dude or DSage, and thus will kill either the finder or the symp. If they kill the symp, we have a finder alive tomorrow. If they kill the finder, then we can lynch the symp tomorrow. 

 

If one of them is a werewolf rather than a symp, the finder will probably die tonight, but then we can just lynch the other one tomorrow.

 

The way I see it, if we lynch someone other than dude or DSage today, there's a chance (although slim) that the finder will survive the night. I'm not really believing that DSage is the finder, but I won't trust either one of them (the dude or DSage) until one of them is dead, which will prove who is lying and who is telling the truth.

 

ETA: This will also make sure that we don't lynch the finder. And if we lynch the symp today, the finder will for sure die tonight.

That's a good point actually.  If it's true that we can't tell the finder from the symp, then there's a fair chance that the werewolves don't either - assuming that the werewolves don't know who the symp is, of course - and anything that confuses the werewolves is a good thing. 

 

I was going to check over some of the others, just in case, to give us ideas for other possible werewolves, and I have a few in mind.  I need to do yet another reread (I swear, I'll know this game by heart one of these days!)
