Between 2 and 5 I would pick 5. Soul veil only lasts 1 turn. It would be a shame to waste EP if there isn't an immediate threat.

Story:
With steady breath and a focused mind, you step onto the spiral staircase and descend into the Chamber of Elemental Essence. The air grows cooler, and the stone grows damp underfoot. A faint blue glow lights the path as you move deeper, until at last, the stairs open into a vast, dome-shaped sanctum.

In its center floats a crystalline sphere suspended above a pool of perfectly still water—the Elemental Essence, pulsing gently with ancient power. Runes swirl slowly across its surface, reacting to your presence.

But you are not alone.

From the far side of the chamber, a shape rises—an echoing sentinel of water and spirit, formed from elemental memory and sacred duty. It senses your strength and approaches not with hostility, but with solemn purpose.

This… is a trial.
