FYI I'm not new - and my intro to this game was 1 x VT, followed by inheriting the curse of wishing I had been wolf and then being gifted Leelou's scum rands for the next ?12 - 14 games?... I'm probably still not recovered XD

I'm curious as to why you put me in your 'newer/less experienced in Mafia' group? I don't think we played many games together, but there was at least one near the end of my game days IIRC, and you mentioned recognising me as not new in the signups?

If it helps, I was thinking you might be sus for pretty much fluff posting and then sticking with Lenlo on the Zander LynchDiceWhileSleeping!! joke, but going back, immediate responses there plausibly add up and so are NAI in themselves XD, and slightly less sus equity exists with the increased engagement, content-analysis aside. Easy-seeming sense of humour on most things - except the aforementioned Dice callout?

It would be highly unusual for either of them to do that, in either alignment, with the deliberate intention to start a lynch train on the other that way, FWIW.

Would/Do wolf!Z or wolf!Dice probably feel the expectation to use it and do so hoping it slides by if the other was Town? Sometimes. Do Town!Dice/Town!Z also do this, both for lololol and interaction? Yep.

But it's never a Wolfy "This is your train, Townies hop on!!"

Hence, I think, Z's 'Dude just lol' post at the level of seriousness Lenlo interpreted/projected it as.

@Zander? - TLDR, If you're Town asking if I'm struggling with Lenlo's vibe/tone/possi-gaslighty twisty feels in those interactions with you - yes.

WRT 'Lenlo-you' situation - I'm up to pg 19... to that point I have been wondering if Lenlo was always as serious/hypervigilant/sensitive as I'm first-impressioning here. This is based on pretty much nothing but the way he reacted to what I see as jokes from Heavy and you.

A bit uncomfortable with this post. It reads like something I would say as a wolf. Very verbose summary of what happened fronting for an absence of alignment-relevant thoughts beneath. But I get the impression I'll stumble into your thoughts between here and the present so put a hold on that suspicion.

Going to humor the if shad was a wolf comments on page 35 for my amusement

If Zander and Lenlo were v/v, I think I would stay largely out of it and focus on some low hanging fruit with the hopes that Zander gets mislynched today anyway and I can offer up my D1 push for sacrifice tomorrow.

If Lenlo was a wolf, yeah I could see myself playing it about the same way. I'd sacrifice an easy Zander mislynch to get my partner out of harm's way and be "more correct" about the villager than the wolf while doing it.

If Zander was a wolf, uh, I don't even know it's harder for me to imagine that exchange coming from Zander as a wolf than my own reaction coming from myself as a wolf lol

I've noticed a couple posts from Gud now, think the other was about Dice, where her reads are sort of predicated on the notion that wolves avoid lying. Moments where she suspects that someone is deliberately softing that they are not a villager. Did she make these sorts of reads last game?

Less a read man and what he did. It's called fishing, something Wolves typically do to try and get Town players to poss hint/out their PR (Power Role) of they have one. But honest it was so bad I honestly am not sure a Wolf would out themselves so blantlty it's literally the most insane fishing I ever seen in all my 100+ games....lolololol

Its like every single person is ignoring what I actually said at the start, "This is a bad joke". How has this morphed into me trying to gas light some train on Zander for it? I get y'all are going to give Zander a pass for posting 80% lololol comments, I dont like it but I've accepted it, but you could at least actually read what I wrote. Christ.

Anyways, catching up now. Early reads from what I've seen while skimming a bit, I'm very nervous about the Gud pockets, theres like no effort going into actually reading them instead just passing them by, Shad looks good even if I disagree with him in multiple places that's fine, Cairos ngl I'm not seeing much and these sort of "look just busy enough" posts are pinging me, RTE I think people have valid reasons for but outside of that one vig comment I havent seen anything terrible. It's day 1, so we dont have much more to go on though.

What rubs me more than that isn't exclusive to RTE. I caught a waft of "Zander might be town but we should still lynch him for the thread state/information" that didn't sit well with me at all. I believe all of RTE, Verb, and Heavy did it, but don't quote me on Heavy, I'd have to look back to confirm. I think wolves are more likely to +1 that vibe, secure an easy mislynch while preemptively washing their hands of it. Frankly, the sense that wolves were eager to chop you today is another factor in why I think you're town.

Not allot tbh. I know he's a smart so a pretty decent player and that's why I'm thrown off by it. Part of me says meh just different approaches as Villas part of me says maybe Wolf team is all or mostly exp players who were like we should see if we can get Zander mislunched for lols by winding him up lolololol. He's not like for sure Scum to me and not Town but Im not thinking about him being lunch ATM fwiw.

I don't disagree with YOUR take on it because if it were most anyone else I'd be there with ya. But for Cass at Worst NAI. Cass the smarter pretty better more WiM having awesomer cooler female me.... lolololol like seriously right down to the music we listen and both being ENFPs CassGOATENFPMUSICTWINHYDRAFRAND is typically what I call her when I'm not too lazy to type it all. We've had a history of tinfoiling and eating crayons while being wrong and pushing each other because she has the same Zander paranoia as a Villa. I agree with the Verb one, he seemed resigned pretty early to the "Lynch one of Zander/Lenlo, watch/lynch the other after if the first flips town". Very little effort put into figuring that kerfuffle out either way, oddly prepared for what to do right after.

Yes pretty much. I've asked those who played last game with her as it was her first to make sure I'm not just being bias and pocketed for reals tho but feels very much the same thus far.

I've touched on Gud fwiw as I was in her first game last game. If you don't trust my take Dice , Heavy, Turin, Carios off top come to mind who also were in that game. Feels very similar to me at least admittedly biased and inherited pocket still since last game lolololol

You seem quite certain of this....likely no chance it was basically all Town trying to mislunch me again.....like last game lolololol but seriously the Red and Bold is the first time you've sketched me some...maybe I'm just a bit paranoid but ya that made me wonder

Sure, but they are new, 1 game is not a very large sample size, and you've self admitted to hard pocketing her as carry over from the previous game. I'm not gonna just... not look at her because you said "pocket"

I know that's why I mentioned who else was there to verify or disagree with my assessment. And ofc I game isn't much baseline but again we approach reads differently if you're a Villa here but just thought as one of the players who played her only other game id share my take

Maybe it's a mash thing lol. Sometimes there's no one person you can point to and go "you're the one doing the wolfy thing" but there's a clear vibe in the air that the thread is inordinately open or resistant towards lynching someone. I felt you were being hedged over too easy.

I'll give you this, I expect my reads to adjust/dial in a lot once we get our first flip and can use that concrete info to really dig into what was said/how people acted.
