As the Neitarens flood the city with men and destruction rules, you notice something strange. In the midst of the carnage, one lone building stands untouched. Staining your eyes, you can see the large letters, M-E-R-M-A-I-D reflected in the flame's light. "How odd." you think to yourself.

Go Neitarens!  >:(

ROFL at the account Cloud. However, I would advise that you get rid of it, as each person on DM is only allowed to have 1 account, and having more than one can get you banned.

That rule seems doesn't seem to really be true....

There are many people who are banned, then just create a new account, and apparently that is A-ok...

(Modding D&D, I've seen people have 2 accounts, brought it up, and no one cared)

I Was given the choice to use the reddishorangy bonestone' date=' and I said that I would very much like to use it since it will tell me not only the alignemen of the people I view but also if they have a role and what role they might have. it would also give me the chance to get some "bonusviews" if that should ever become a possibility. [/quote']

I think your orange bonestone is the key to defeating the black.

Nope. Not that complicated and does not require any additional tools, stones, etc. They got everything they need.

There was talk of a Chosen One to save the Minister. Maybe if someone offers to fight the dual for the Minister. That was the dual is fought, with the Minister not taking part. That could be a techincality....

Anyone else find it odd that there were 3 bonestones taken in the cave and there will be three assassins in the black bonestone curse?

Maybe those three who took the stones, will be the three assassins?

Barm>>

The Black piece will change every player but one into an innocent. The new assassin will not be known to the old assassins. The stone holds a curse, and even if you find and lynch the new assassin, the curse will select another random player and change them into an assassin. The curse will last through three assassins.

Well, that was unexpected . . . not.

I had hoped my lie about my PM would keep me alive for a night or two (yeah, Wes never told me that me staying alive was key for assassins as well as innocents, I made it up  ;D) but Wes had to go and start the fight before I could survive a single night  >:(

Thanks Cloud

Bah, I didn't read the public thread first, shame on you Kivam! ;) You know I had wondered at that comment, since if it was true the game would basically be over right now... :P

;D  Slick, ain't I?  8)

BTW, I think that the minister and admiral fighting now won't destroy the world, since we're not sitting and waiting for the neitairens to eat us up while they fight, and Wes has told us not to interfere.

In other words - don't vote Admiral or Minister, as the mod has essentially confirmed them innocent (by ordering you not to vote for them).

Mod Clarification: The Admiral and the Minister could still potentially destroy the world by fighting. The Neitaren's are not the key to this. A time a place was named as far as when you can interfere and when you can't.

Fair point Loki

Consider though...

The assassin realizes that the healer doesn't know who is who right now and thinks the healer will probably self heal in order to prevent assassin killing.  The assassin wouldn't random kill and would probably kill someone they knew who was definitely not the healer.  This someone was easy to pick out and kill because of Kivam's wonderful last battle story.

Although I can see your scenario as being just a little more likely.

I didn't get a real good grasp on most of the players due to their lack of posting. Its really hard to make real good deductions on behaviors when there isn't much to go on. I am not so sure I'd be any good at this game if unless there were a TON of posting that I could read. Part of me says I'll never have the time to invest in really getting good at this.

Kivam says I can do with it what I will, so:

D&Ders should ignore this - it's an easter egg for a mafia game)

Plus, the ridiculous thing is that one of the innocents switched sides!  Not sure how anyone could bring themselves to do that . . .  But if the others can figure out a way to kill the assassin without lynching him, the curse will be broken.

Any one hording a night kill? DPR, got any roulette actions lined up?

All posts can be discussed here. And there is no small print below Kivam's post ;)

well, now that its all figured out we just have to find out who the assassin is.

It might be important that there wasn't a night kill (after all...whose been missing...)

But thats meta-gaming which I'm a little worried to fall on.

And where is Barm and the minister? (hell the admiral even)

none of you guys have been posting at all =/

Sorry Vem

*Pats him on back*

Let me give you a tour.

The pool is over there.  We have the plasma screen on that wall and there is our window view into our old world.

So what do you think?

Yeah and good luck trying to figure out the killer guys.  This seems like it's going to be tough.  Wait isn't a night action suppose to happen still?
