And I'd like to here what choices cloud is considering and his reasons why :P

 

Also, I have to work from 9:30am to 5:00pm my time today, and then I will be heading to Barns and nobles to wait in line for the harry potter 7 book. So I'll probably be gone most of the day today (to give you an idea its 8:21am for me atm)

Anyway back to the main reason why I'm here.

I am basically down to two choices Get Rope OR Kill Him Another Way.

 

Killing Sinister another way seems like it will be the multipath choice path because of the immediate follow up question of "What do we kill him with?".  Also since DPR said

USE ONE OF THREE METHODS

it seems to me he is thinking we are going to have to pick again if I decide to kill him another way.  Which leads me to believe that killing SinisterDeath seems very likely to occur if I go and get rope.

 

On the other hand I could be completely wrong and reading into the text too much but my gut feels like that's the right choice.  I'm going to go with getting the rope just because if even if I die we will definitely kill SinisterDeath.

Cloud - [glow=red,2,300]do not send the minister's guards[/glow].  That is the most logical way for one of us to randomly die; your turning right or left should only impact you, while losing a guard around the minister likely paves the way for an attack that will kill one of us.

 

People - if Cloud sends a guard, and one of us dies, he should be lynch candidate number 1 tomorrow (unless Danya gets a guilty hit on Griefy)

    Who can say why we make the decisions that we do? Cloud leaves the room and waiting begins. You pass looks to one another, to the Minister and to the Admiral. You wonder who among you is an assassin and who is innocent. You ponder the story that the Admiral told. Is it even remotely possible that it could be true?  The only thing you know for sure is that this is MAFIA, and nothing is ever as it seems. Cloud is taking too long. You are tempted to stick your head out of the door and look down the hallway, when a guard walks in and beats you to it.

    "We found your man lynched in the storeroom." He tosses a length of rope on to a table. "We found this note" he lays it on top of the rope.

 

 "A lynch for a lynch"

 

    They have known all along. The assassins knew a lynch was coming and had to know who it would be. Someone cut that rope, knowing that someone would have to replace it. And they must have been pretty sure that an assassin wouldn't volunteer. It briefly flashes across your mind that the Admiral and the Minister were here in the room with you.  But only briefly. Rage builds up inside you and you quickly fit the noose around Sinister's throat and set him up to stand on the stool. He just laughs.

    "Your'e all going to die."

    You kick the stool out from beneath his feet and his neck snaps lick a dried piece of wood.

Jackdaw - suspiciously quiet

 

On the fence - Loki (hard to get a read on)

 

Likely innocent - FDM - love her work on the cases

 

One of the unknowns is the healer; should we attempt to lynch them, they MUST reveal

 

We can count the minister as a definite innocent, as well, which helps with our voting majority. 

 

By my calculations, if Danya can get two more views in (innocent or guilty) we win

My reason to supporting an innocent making the choice is:

1) we know they will make an honest best interest decision

 

2) Barm originally had the idea and i've been supporting you and barm from the start since we know you too are good players and confirmed innocents.

 

3) I claim my innocence and beg that you have someone view me before you lynch me.

 

Kivam, Barm, i AM innocent and have and will follow your decisions! Just as I have! plz view me before making the mistake of killing me!

I wanna help the innocent players win and i want to stay alive, I see both goals fulfilled by cooperating, what you got for me?

Far Dareis Mai- Been really helpful, but so was Demandred last game. I still think we can trust her, especially if she keeps leading us to allies (thats if she's evil, which I don't think she is atm) and then we can view her towards the end.

Goodgrief- she's gonna be viewed tonight, I suggest she is viewed by Danya so if she's innocent Danya can tell us so a different one doesn't have too expose themselves.

Jackdaw- Quiet yes, but quiet doesn't mean evil, Jackdaw is a newer player after all and might just be intimidated by all the action. I know I have been. Until the 4 random murders where I got the pm about taking a random bonestone from the cave (which btw i turned down! I tried hinting at it and Talya got it wrong on her guess >.>. So let me say it here! I took no bonestone from the cave! i have no bonestone period!) I was barely reading the game because it was just so active I couldn't keep up.

Loki- Didn't Sin try and peg guilt of Loki because of what Loki's name really means? Still, liekly should be viewed in case.

Vemynal (me^^)- yeah...don't really know what to say other then the whole "plz no lynch me T_T" bit. View me if you don't believe me, but should a finder find that I'm innocent then don't come out with the knowledge unless they are about to waste a lynch on me.

Far Dareis Mei 4- Really helpful, almost to much so. None the less not a priority view since has been really helpful.

Goodgrief 1-

Jackdaw 5- Really quiet, doesn't mean he's evil.

Loki 2- Some of what he's done seems suspicious to me. I know i should put myself here probably but I really want to have a confirmation whether he's good or evil. Its just a gut feeling but I'm going with it. Though by all means, view me if you want! less the odds of me being murdered this way.

Vemynal 3- I put myself 3rd because while i know I'm innocent, you all don't. And apparently Kivam thinks me an evil. Which I further to be increased by my "I think jackdaw is good" point of view. But yeah, we have 2 finders right? if neither Good or Loki are evil then you know its me, FDM or Jackdaw. and while I think FDM is more likely to be evil in that case i think it would be less of a loss to our team if we lost jackdaw so I'd suggest lynching him and viewing me and FDM that night. then the last finder could come out and say which is evil.

It was a rather uneventful evening and everybody turned in early. Your sleep is restless, your imagination on fire. You can hardly stand to stay in bed for the entire night. At the first sign of dawn creeping over the horizon you jump out of bed and into your boots, grab the money you have been saving, and run straight out of the Hall and down the grand staircase. You almost trip a few times as you race down towards the plaza to the town, then back towards The Mermaid's Song. You take another turn at full speed, then another, and here you stop in your tracks. A huge crowd of people are all gathered in front of the shop, including the entire group. Well, what did you expect? It's Barm's & Noble (Youv'e got to invest your money somewhere, and Barm has a shrewd sense for business, with plans to expand into every port...but we digress.) The sign on the door says "Open at 9". Right now its about 6:30. Hmmmm. Fortunately, Starbuccaneers is open, so you spend a little of that money on a venti chai latte and get back in line at the bookstore where everyone is debating whether or not Harry will live or die...

I know Griefy, and it WAS sad. Picked it up at midnight and was up until 6 reading it. Very tired right now.

 

Vem--I am working on Loki, and you. I'm halfway done with you, about a quarter on Loki. I finished Sin's at the time Danya finder revealed, so I found it pointless to post. Please be patient with me, I have a little one and she demands much of my time. I'm kind of doing a little, and then leaving it for hours, and then coming back to it when I can...so I will get the rest out as soon as I can. Though for the moment I would just like to say that your last post is a little weird for me. So we'll mini-case.

 

So you don't think I'm evil, but you think I'm being too helpful, and you think JD is innocent because he is quiet and new, but even if I'm likely to be evil, I'm useful so I don't bear checking? Or perhaps I don't really need checking because you know I'm innocent? :P (And this is only my third game of mafia on DM...)

Why would you push to willingly lynch someone you believe to be innocent? Also, there is only one Finder role. The Singer was like a Finder, but they only had the ability to find bonestone, and they died. It was Cleo.

FDM is more likely to be evil in that case i think it would be less of a loss to our team if we lost jackdaw so I'd suggest lynching him and viewing me and FDM that night. then the last finder could come out and say which is evil.

 

The Finder has already revealed. What is the point of keeping your innocence secret, should she check you, when we will all likely know who she is going to check that night? The evils already know who is innocent....so why would she want to keep your innocence secret from the other innocents?

View me if you don't believe me, but should a finder find that I'm innocent then don't come out with the knowledge unless they are about to waste a lynch on me.

I suggest she is viewed by Danya so if she's innocent Danya can tell us so a different one doesn't have too expose themselves.
