I think the generic commentary here is: "wolves like to talk about 3P because they can do it and be honest".

Which doesn't say much about the individual beyond it's typically not a good reason to call someone town.

@ Tiink I wouldn't get hung up on meta chats if you aren't comfortable with them.  Just try to look beyond the commentary to what people are actually doing with it. 

 

I've kind of mastered the art of being vocally useless via meta blabber on D1s and I think it's why no one ever suspects me until a game has progressed a bit.  Am I using it to develop reads or to look busy?  Ask yourself questions like that and see what you come up with.

Then when Shad asked me what I thought about his play I said that I had thought he might be a jester last night, because then I took the flavor as confirmation of there being a jester.

Lol I'll try give you a read but she's got 20 posts and 10 aren't really game-related (since it's 12 pages in). The rest are in regards to jester-chat which I don't really see why it's a big dela. I think you're coming off as pretty aggressive on a line of reasoning I don't follow. Sooh hasn't done anything to suggest she's not town yet though.

Further your statements about mafia tactics to deal with them feel backwards. You only shoot a jester if you are spiteful because it is better for mafia to shoot a cop/doc etc... Furthermore it is fairly easy to lunch a jester cause they will not fight and/or

Will "slip" to win. The only real point for mafia to seek a jester is eliminate them and reduce the shooting pool.

I said "jester" exactly twice before you blew it out of proportion. You're literally the only person in the game who had an issue with me mentioning it. Also are you voting me for bad strategy? Like, I can't figure it out.

 

Why on earth would I LIE about what I thought were the best mafia tactics? You were telling me you thought I was mafia because I was focusing on 3p. I'm telling you that I don't think focusing on 3p, especially not a jester, is that important for mafia, so why bother really. I don't even know why I suggested NKing them because that would be stupid, but whatever.

I'll be honest - I'm harassing skimming along at lunch and not paying that much attention, so that might be part of the problem....but I'm not following the argument that closely from either side.

 

I understand that Sooh expressed frustration with the thought of a master. Not sure I buy her reading the flavor as confirmation, but maybe? I understand Turin was saying she was obsessed with the 3P. I think that's a massive exaggeration - she made one or two short posts referencing it, and I never thought "Sooh wants to kill a jester".

 

I kinda see an argument for why that would have scum motivation I guess, but the whole back and forth just seemed mostly pointless to me
