You did a brilliant job of looking like town while subtly furthering out agenda! As for signalling, you kinda suck, but that's okay, because you lasted and won it for us at the end.

 

 

lol yeah I wasn't risking signaling when everyone was gonna keep a hawk eye's watch for it. So I just tried my best to show that I was thinking logically about the game.

nah the setup was a lot of fun, and tbh I probably should've lost the final round, I had an advantage of being someone people haven't seen play.

Here's the problem in a nutshell from a mod pov:

 

Most Mafia games will include a player or two who participates enough to stay in the game but can't really contribute, for whatever reason.

 

Traditionally, this is part of the game.  We don't fault these people.

 

But we do lynch them.

 

Most games that aren't blow-outs are decided by the middle of the pack.  I provided scum with a means to eliminate a few strong villagers, but I failed to account for the fact that a lot of villages need to be able to eliminate a few of their own to win a game.

 

So if you ever do it again, add two more VTs. It was a close-run thing even as it was.

Re: subbing Ben back into the game.

 

I am rather strongly opposed to reintroducing dead players to a game.  This set-up created a really unique circumstance where it was ok once and one time only.  Don't expect it in my future games.

Just a heads up, theres some venting in the Mafia QT. I apologized for it, but left it cause I felt you had a right to read it.

 

No hard feelings though. Just stress. I play to win, not to confront people face to face. Ill lose that every time. Usually.
