Nyn what do you think about Lenlo and do you have any initial thoughts on EagleMan/SK/LZM?

SK I'd have to reread. I recall he showed up when i was sleeping but i cant remember anything he said.

 

LZM is not doing anything.

 

Aquilla I'd have to reread as well. Out of the 4 I think he has had most to say but I dont know his meta and how he plays as town/scum. Sooh seems to know him so if she can pitch in about that, that would be helpful.

thanks, still reading, but almost done, will likely have to finish tomorrow as I'm gonna be modding for All Stars the rest of the night. Basic thoughts for now, early on it did seem like Nyn had a bit of tmi when talking about the setup mechanics, but I liked her a lot more (today). Sooh's probably town, but I realized upon read that I actually haven't seen her as mafia.

 

 

Why do you think Sooh's prolly town? also if you think that, why did you vote her?

I take back what I said earlier. Aquilla has done just as much as the other three, really. Just used more words to do it.

Lenlo hasn't really done much. He did ask some setup related questions that seemed a little dense to me, but I'm not sure if it's how he brainstorms things or if he's just feigning it to have something to talk about. What specifically caught my eye at the time was him asking AJ if tying on purpose would be beneficial... just seemed kinda inane to me since I feel like the answer is pretty obvious.

 

He also kinda suggested that Ben might not be savvy enough to do these pairings. Sort of planted that seed. Again, could be just brainstorming... or maybe there's a connection there. I'd usually go all "well if Ben turns out being scum, I'll be looking at Lenlo closer"... but considering we're not gonna be getting flips at EoD.... I'm not sure how that's gonna work.

btw, if BFG doesn't bring it later tonight, I might be shifting towards keeping AJ around. Last game she was in... I wasn't even in it.. but just from casual skimming it was painfully obvious that she was town. And I felt similarly in previous games where she was town. She is just super pure. I'm not at that level of confidence at this point. Trying not to judge harshly cause she just might be busy but I am starting to get a little worried there.

FWIW there’s some stuff from Lenlo that rubs me the wrong way but idk if it’s a tone or alignment thing. Like when he basically said all four in the top two matches are probably town and left it at that. Or when he referred to me as the smart guy. Felt sort of placating.

Could be. I dunno. Last time he was scum he tried to rile me up. This game being docile. But his tone can sound bad as town as well, if memory serves right. He always kinda sounds slimy to me :P

Fair point, he did poke at you a lot. Like I said idk if it’s a tone thing or alignment indicative but I don’t particularly trust him yet. Then again LZM hasn’t done anything to get a read from.

I’m sticking with my original theory that goon!BFG probably doesn’t pick to match with another high volume player. Her worry about Sooh town reading her “easily” is par for the course id say but not a hard angle to play as scum. I agree with her about Ben at least. The only problem I have so far is a little tinfoil about her maybe being a symp because of the Spidey/Deadpool gif. I’m waiting to see more from Verb before I let that go anywhere but my back pocket though.

What’s wrong with the characterization @BFG?

 

Maybe a little crass and overly simplified but I haven’t seen her not get caught as scum yet in my experience and normally ducking the thread is a big indicator.

I think at least for the overwhelming amount of my scum games this has been true, and certainly the ones where I've attempted scumming against you.

That being said, I really really want it to change and will do my darndest to not do this in the future.
