thanks, still reading, but almost done, will likely have to finish tomorrow as I'm gonna be modding for All Stars the rest of the night. Basic thoughts for now, early on it did seem like Nyn had a bit of tmi when talking about the setup mechanics, but I liked her a lot more (today). Sooh's probably town, but I realized upon read that I actually haven't seen her as mafia.

Feeling best about Nyn at the moment, still cautiously optimistic about AJ, a little concerned by his characterisation of Soohs scum game

 

Feel somewhat uneasy about Soohs easy town read of me, but ~like the rest of her stuff

 

I quite like bens 'reads' content, but don't know what to make of the 'you'll just vote me regardless', the only game I remember him doing that was as scum, buy not sure if it's a general evolution of game or actually AI.

 

I don't really understand the differences between lenlos scum and town game, and nothing stands out as particularly AI yet

Setup wise if we're confident in t-t pairs we may be able to get some mechanically cleared towns tomorrow (albeit not in the tournament), can explain later, but only relevant if we have 2 pairs we're confident in

I'll also keep my vote on Sooh even though I think she's town, since the two times I've seen her play scum, she has pretty much been MIA, and she is active and trying to solve in this game, which is what she did when I saw her play town. She was actually the vote I was gong to skip, because I know I'm town, and I believe that she is too, but if one of us is going to die regardless, it might as well be her because I need the practice. She's already good at this.

 

@Nyn - I thought this post was ~okay. The reason for the read on Sooh is correct at least, IMO. The rationale about not voting is eh and keeping the vote doesn’t really need to be justified, or overly justified. That part reads awkward but I thought the process regarding Sooh was correct.

What’s wrong with the characterization @BFG?

 

Maybe a little crass and overly simplified but I haven’t seen her not get caught as scum yet in my experience and normally ducking the thread is a big indicator.

I dont think the sooh meta ref is fundamentally wrong but I also think that the setup of this game might change things. Ie we're all put up against each other and even if we lose we still vote and post. It's diffetent dynamics. In a way even less stressful? She tends to freak when she starts getting attention... in this game it's unavoidable. So it might affect things.

 

With that said i have no problem with sooh so far. But in general? clearing her just because she bothers to do something in a game is probably not the best idea. Gotta have more meat than that. Just my two cents. There was at least one game where she was busy, subbed out and we mislynched her cause we thought that's scum sooh. And it can work the other way too if she's smart. And she is definitely smart.

Let me be clear, I wasn’t town reading her simply because she’s posting. I’ve liked her posts too. The think tank last night when we were discussing the setup. Her bluntness in making her read on BFG and voting me for it. How she reacted to Lenlo earlier today.
