Most people were either town or scum to Darthe. Some often flipped back and forth. The only person he went out of his way to declare *no read* on was Hallia. I'd bury her for that alone (still love you tho Hally)

If she flips scum then Rand next imo. Lenlo called out Darthe on the read. Hally declared Dice the towniest mofo ITT after like he posted once. Rand went out of his way to mention that Hally screwing up the context of Lenlo's argument looked just like "regular old Hallia skim catch up - no problems here"

I like your reasoning here. Add in this post from Hallia and I could very easily see a Darthe/Rand/Hally team.

So does that make Rand town?  I mean, I feel like it does.  But honestly, who's left?

Quotes from Rand:

Aight sorry guys, busy again today, but I wanted to contribute at least a little of useful information rather than the @deadline last minute vote from yesterday.

I'm on the fence about AJ.  I've been his wolf partner before several times, and I know how good he is.  He's involved either way.  ATM I would not lynch him, you, Darthe, Dice.

If Hally does turn out to be scum, I'd look at this list besides Darthe being mostly town, I feel like Hally wouldn't have included both scummates in the same not lynch possibility to keep bussing as an open option.

Finally caught up. [v]SK[/v] I just can't shake the feeling that something is off about his tone. Or else his little brother hacked his account, I guess...

This felt wrong to me, it put the Soothe and SK trains right at the same point.

VoteCount

Lenlo (1): Hallia

SK (2): Ben, Soothe

Soothe (2): SK, AJ

Rand (1): Nyn

Not Voting (4): Lenlo, Marsh, Dice, Rand

This would've placed SK in front of Soorthe

Thanks Derf

Tempted to vote Rand....since no one seems to see what I'm seeing irt Len

Idk how I feel about this. The easiest thing to do would be to vote SK and put his train ahead.  At the same time, Hally seems like she's giving herself some flexibility to be "convinced" to go on any train.

[v] rand [/v]

This I really don't like.  Moving from the Soothe train onto another one, simultaneously making it smaller, and tying my train with SK, temporarily taking Soothe out of the target.

Meh, [unvote]. I think I'm wrong about something here.

[V]Soothe[/V]...I think.

And then this obviously what makes me feel really good about Marsh, bringing the Soothe train back to a possibility.

Given that Ben is definitely town, I feel pretty good about Marsh being town, AJ's consistency on the Soothe train is a big plus, those are probably my 3 top town reads.  In terms of play, I'm still a bit confused on Nyn, and don't feel great about Hally or SK, especially SK.  I'll probably go in SK's direction as soon as I check the most recent VC

Can someome summarize the Dice train for me?

As for right now, I'm going to [v]SK[/v]

What bugs me the most about these two quotes is that Rand is basing his entire analysis on votes. I was scummy for tying the trains but then I'm towny for voting Darthe. SK is scummy for voting Rand. Then he asks for an explanation of why people are voting Dice.

First of all, vote analysis is not enough evidence to accurately form your outlook on the whole game. Used like this, it looks thin and contrived. Second, and more importantly, this just screams, "I'm trying to get maximum town-cred for my vote on Darthe!!!" at the top of your lungs. Smells like desperation to get cleared or at least avoid getting lynched.

Darthe pushed two people with any considerable effort D1. Ben and SK

Any votes in that direction are misguided or scummy.

I agree on this one. Obviously Ben is cleared by his role, but I'm pretty much never lynching SK in this game either.

Didn't some people say he was more likely town because of his vote on Darthe?

I mean, that was on the mafia's strongest scum person right?

I believe that with Darthe being the special, and unused, that they would've let Darthe live if Rand was the teammate.

Perhaps SK then.

Unvote

Vote: SK

This insistence that Rand is town is what makes me so sure you're teammates with him.

I said that after this

I couldn't resist, Len

I could hear zander in my mind whispering to me: "..Always Lynch Lenlo.."

votes len mentions zander obviously bussing len.

plus he has been away too long!

vote AJ

welcome home

That was a total joke read early on

I should probably reread him.

...and pivot! At this point it may be just confirmation bias since I already scum read you, but you're not looking good here, Hally.

Could it be a Rand/dice pairing? rand with his "reaction testng" vote on dice. dice mentioning rand as a weak suss d1 but then doing nothing for it.... at EoD wasn't around to break the tie between Rand and Darthe... supposedly forgot about DL.. and then coming into D2 with a vote on Hallia with nothing further on Rand?  eh.

I'd be willing to consider this if Hallia turns out to be town. But at the moment I'm pretty convinced it's her and Rand.

Pg 1-5:
Mostly fluff. Things start to happen in page 4. Hally attacks me for something completely different from what I said. Already hashed that out for pages, so wont repeat the argument here. In page 5, Darthe throws out his reads. Throwing Ben as wolf, who we know is IC, calls me and Marsh town, Hally 'no read'.

Pg 6-10:
I call Darthe out on his no read on Hally. Darthe susses me for callin him on it. Some jokes, Ben is talking about trying to make his scum and town games seem similar, and how he sucks as town.  Nyn calls him on this and some back and forth happens before she jumps to SK. Nyn and Ben continue to go at it. Knowing Ben is the IC now, the fact that Nyn isnt trying to turn this back and forth into a lynch is a good sign imo. Alot of wolves would run with Bens treatment of SK here and turn it into a train. Or try to. Instead Nyn starts thinkin about why Ben is acting how he is, how overcommitted to the defense of SK he has been. Apparently its more like town out of depth than wolf. Turns out, he was town, so she was right. Another point in her favor.

Hally continues her silly push on me. Still terrible reasons. Says Darthe is being engaging and shes happy with him so far. Not gonna lynch Dice either. No reasons given for that one.

Pg 11-15:
Nyn defends/calls Hally towny. Not likin that. AJ calls Ben town, gun to head. Rand shows up. Calls Hallys post a standard skim read. I dont see how that excuses the misrep. Calls Ben/Nyn town/town, inclined to agree since Ben is IC.  Not much reads on anyone else. Votes dice for some reason? AJ has Marsh as light green for some reason. I dont see it, he hasnt done much at this point.

Nyn self votes on Pg 13 and things start to happen. Voiced my thoughts on it, AJ voiced his, its already out there.  AJ says town Nyn fights, this Nyn buckled. Interestin thought, but I still like her older interactions. Interesting post by AJ in #266. Aj says an SK scum read is dependent on a Nyn scum flip based on prior treatments. Ben says im overreacting, yet this is just regular reacting for me. I dont do things by half often. AJ clears up the Hally thing, but I still dont like how she pushed it. He then pushes Nyn

Pg 16-20:
SK hops in, votes Darthe who later flips Vig. He basically started/restarted that train. Looks good for him. SK wants Darthe and Rand dead. Darthe has been stated, Rand not really.

Small notes up through page 20.

As it is, I am fine with Nyn and AJ. Ben is IC. Having read the most recent page, I agree with Hally that Rand wouldnt want to lynch the Vig if he was wolf. However, if he lynched anyone else at that point in the game, he was as good as dead. The moment Darthe flipped vig later on would have made everyone look back at his D1 vote to save Darthe. It was a no win situation for him.

I dont understand why Marsh is being townread, atleast as of page 20. SK is closer to neutral for me. Dice I cant read. He hasnt done anything overtly wolfy or towny to me, atleast of page 20.

As it is, I am fine with lynching Hally. If she flips town, then I can revisit the Rand lynch knowing she means what she says. If she flips wolf, her defense of Rand is gonna have me focused in on him.

The town reads on me were mostly driven by meta and tone. AJ accurately summed it up here:

So what about his post makes him town?

Purely from the hip tone read. Obviously the post in itself isn't some golden beacon of towniness but Marsh is a straight shooter in my experience and I don't think he's the type that tries to level anyone - so talking about purposefully lynching town as being cool? He probably meant it. And not in a scummy way

I suppose that if she flips scum, Rand could be town that she's trying to set up, but I would want to lynch him anyway. If he's town, he's only one mislynch, and it clears things up. I don't see why she would be so certain he is town if she is town, though. I agree with AJ--I would understand it better if she was trying to get us to look at a scum read, but to go to the gallows screaming that Rand is innocent makes the most sense if she is his teammate and is not very good at being a discreet wolf, or if she is scum, and he is not but has played so badly that he's nearly a mislynch, and she is trying to buy her real partner one more day by spewing Rand to the gallows, but we can afford one mislynch to find out, especially if she flips scum, so sorry, Rand.
