But on the other side, Hallia was saying that, given her experience playing with Nyn, she saw something different this time, hence her out-of-character scum read. Sure, if I scum read someone every game that doesn't make me good at reading them, but if I all of the sudden town read them, that should be a sign that I saw a preponderance of evidence that my go-to read was wrong. Doesn't that give us reason to think that Hallia was right? I just don't believe Nyn's claim that their history makes Hally's read completely invalid, and I think it's scummy to make that kind of claim.

That only makes sense to me if you have any sort of success, or you've made a lot of deliberate effort to figure out where you've gone wrong.

I don't think anybody should be clearing Nyn because Hallia thought she was scum or anything.  If Nyn's mafia, of course she's going to invalidate Hallia scumreading her.  But what's she going to do if she's town?

Who was it that first made note of Hally's alleged soft claim?

LZM, unless I missed somebody.

No need for him to do that as mafia.

That was exactly the argument I made...

Well, not no need.  But it's definitely a good look.

Maybe say, "you're wrong, I'm town, and here are posts in this game that show why" or something. Not, "you're wrong and you suck and you can't read me"

Hally and Sooh nave both been vocal about Nyn.

Been my experience that Nyn does not enjoy being scum, giving credence to Clov's statement that he found it hard to believe she would come into the game all blustery.

On the other hand, Nyn being overly emotional and aggressive leads one to believe she's uncomfortable...

Personally, I can see Hally vs. Nyn being Town vs. Town due to the aforementioned ad hominem. I just need to go back and look at why it started. But my gut says Nyn is town.

I don't like this response form Marsh.

I'm also leery of his switch on Rand and his reads list that doesn't have anyone as scum.

What's wrong with my response? Except for the fact that ISOing Nyn made some of her snark rub off on me

Comes off a bit defensive.

It's only N1 - town is calm, cool and collected. Not pointing out how people "should have done things".

But that's just me collecting points.

Why did that response form Rand cool your jets? Let's be honest - you had to stick your neck out a bit to say you agreed with me. That implied (to me) that you felt strongly about your view.  His response to your question wasn't strong, and you folded without even following up with him.

Can you clarify your response to me earlier about Shitsure?   You made that post about him starting strong - I took that to mean you liked his early content.  Your explanation made it seem like the exact opposite.

My experience playing mafia seems to have been greatly different than yours.

Honestly? I don't know. Maybe I was letting my emotional state affect the game. A lot of my original push on Rand was done all at once, in the heat of the moment. Then I got distracted by Adella's claim and decided to move my vote to make sure she didn't get lynched, and things went from there.

I don't know.  You ever had a bad experience with cheesecake?

I have not. Didn't realize it was possible.

No, that's make you a toddler

And everyone at the campsite is staring at me while I laugh at my phone. Thanks for that.

Are you still catching up?

That is one experience we have in common then.

I'm not worried about votes moving around to consolidate, etc, so much as I am a view that just seems to have disappeared for a reason I don't see.
