KK, here's my list. Color coded and ordered by towniness as usual. Scumreads in light salmon just for you, Zander

Lock town

Mrs. Clov: IC

Ironeyes: The mod told me so

Solid town

Spades/Bop: Mostly because of Spades's engagement and obvious WIM

Lean town

Cordyx: Tone read here. Both seem engaged and neither seems manipulative

Derf: Kinda the same as Cordyx. I'd expect scum!Derf to manipulate rather than contribute, as he has been doing

Eldrick: Meta read. His behavior is similar to the last time I played with town!El (a game in which I completely misread him, much to my chagrin)

Null

Sooh: Not sure yet, but I think as the game progresses I'll be able to form an opinion on her soon enough.

Zander: Basically I can't tell if this is town!Zander style tunnelling or scum!Zander faking to draw attention where he wants

Cuth, Ted, Aquila: Not enough info.

Lean scum

Scruff: That vote and subsequent reaction to being sussed wasn't pretty.

So, I'll throw a vote on Scruff for now. We've got almost a day left but I'm comfortable with this train.

if the entire fc wagon was town

...we'd probably want to look in the no-voters first, actually

either way it looks like scum would have then thrown their weight onto a particular wagon

which would reflect poorly on fc

unless they were doing it because of perceived power role, but i don't think that makes sense here

That doesn't make sense. I voted Scruff in #823 and didn't move my vote after that.

I wasn't, but I was the first of the votes that stayed on him till EOD. I'm pretty sure Darthe, Eldrick, and one other person voted Scruff before I did.

The supposed Scoobs D1 meta is a ridiculous easy meta to fake. Like probably the easiest. Maybe in a sense one doesn't care about d1's usually, but it's just rote memorization to react...oh you're stupid D1s are stupid I'm not participating in your game cus you want me to. Like I understand not wanting to scum read the guy for it, but to give him town credit for it to the point of actually saving seems incredibly illogical from my point of view. Yeah you're white knighting the wolf I guess is possible, I just don't think there's a ton there to white knight.

Either way I have 0 faith in Cuth's "read" on scoobs, if he's V it's not genuine because he's just friends with him and wants to keep Scoobs around, which is fine but not a reason he brought up, which I think I would in the same position.

lol this post...you were being iso'd and were quoted like 4 posts after you made this that you were town leaning him. For...easy to fake meta stuff. My issue is the town lean not the save. So you are either lying (wolf) or giving too much credit to a friend. I never said you were town:lying, I said I don't trust your read, and doesn't feel like you were genuinely trying to White Knight Scoobs...which I've seen you Villa white knight a wolf.

However this could be a bit baity, so if any of the following scenario isn't true or how you see it went down and if you're outside this interaction let me know:

1. Scoobs has an easy to recreate D1 meta

2. Cuth eventually townreads Scoobs for this meta

3. Cuth saves Scoobs, but not with an empassionate defense

Ultimately did it feel like town Cuth trying to save a real read?

Also as an aside, if d1's don't matter why even vote or post reads? Like both Scruff and Scoobs had the same reaction to being pressured about their actions, but those actions were partly based on their votes and reads. I don't even mean it from an alignment perspective, just doesn't make sense to half participate if you don't think they matter that much. Just lolcat it and move on to day 2.
