Seriously though, I know jack about the new players. Both of them posted pretty big chunks of content in the night last night so I sort of skimmed all that between getting ready this morning and just left reading them for later. Ive never even played with either becore, but several of you seem to have a good meta on both.

 

Can you show me what distinguishes your different reads between the two?

Alright, I've had enough time to get opinions on most players.

 

• Cory/Clov- Really unsure of these two. Cory is showing his village game by trying to step in a keep everyone calm and relaxed. Now that he’s free to devote more time to this, I’m excited to see what he’s going to contribute. Chris is about as Chris as I expect Chris to play. Probably going to rely on Bop to help me with a clearer read on him. So far every feels OKAY about these two and I’m not really getting bad vibes so far. But, they are both very experienced players and I can see them fooling all of us.

 

• Sooh- Seems to be very confident in herself this game, bold and not willing to take anyone's nonsense. Getting more of a villager read from her, but that won’t stop me from questioning her actions. When I do question she responds quickly and passionately and I really like that. Her actions don't seem to have alternate motives.

 

• Eldrick- Last game I read Eldrick as a wolf all game long. I’m not getting those vibes from him. My main issue for this is that he is agreeing with most of what I’m saying, I’m not sure if it’s because we’re on the same page or if he doesn’t want the heat I consistently gave him last game. Laying low or something like that. I will clarify in saying he was a villager last game but didn’t do anything to prevent a potential mislynch on himself multiple times. Last game he seemed to be pretty bold and had his own really interesting ideas, I’m not seeing that from him this match so far. I’m keeping him neutral for now.

 

• Zander- Right now I am worried about tunneling. There is a lot of content between our last conversation and now and he’s had zero input on any of it, just tipping back to having to back off from us. Maybe he’s just really confident that he found a wolf in us, or just frustrated nobody took to his side. I’m hoping to see him look into more people than just us to show he’s trying to solve this game, not just prove a narrative he’s stuck on. Everyone is Town reading him, but until I see him doing some actual work to help progress this game I have to put him in neutral.

 

• Cuthalion- Not looking hot for Cuth. Cory said he was busy, but I would really like to hear it from him, not just word of mouth. (Who knows, it could have been in wolf chat :P) Zero content, but we still have another day, so we’ll see. Neutral with easy wolf tilt if we see nothing.

 

• Linz-  Clear and really helping me a lot this game, thank you for answering my questions! <3

 

• Darth- No idea with Darth. I will say he seems to be playing differently from the last game I was in, where he was a wolf, but that doesn’t give me much confidence considering Cory was sure last game was his Town play xD I see him making some content and comments, but nothing really stands out to me. I don’t get a genuine vibe from him so much, but I could be reading into nothing. Going to have to be Neutral for now.

 

• Ted Bundy- This guy kinda popped in, stirred the pot then left. Nothing from him today, no reads or thoughts of any kind. Got a bad feelings about this one so he has a wolf tilt from me for lack of game solving, care or involvement.

 

• Ironeyes-  Seems to be trying to catch up, now I hope that they start to really interact with everyone and don’t just read the thread, make a few responses and then leave. I see them focusing on Scruffington a little (which may be an easy deflection to divert attention away from them) None of which really contributed in my opinion. I don’t really have a read on them yet, hope they become much more active tonight and tomorrow. Not enough to lean either way for me so I only have neutral.

 

• Aquilla- Where did you go? You posted a tiny bit then left? I don’t know if maybe they forgot about the game or what? They seemed slightly enthused about playing so I’m really unsure as to why they would just leave without any explanation. I kinda want a wolf tilt on this one just because I’ve been told inactive wolfs do this sometimes. Maybe I’m wrong. I just don’t like it.

 

• Scruffington- I really want to wait for Scruffington to come back and make some responses and answer a few questions before I try to determine alignment. Right now it reads bad that they had a finger pointed at them and left when it got a little hot. I can only really base my thoughts off how I respond to heat in that I generally don’t care, my job is to find wolfs not prove myself a villager, but I also don’t act without an amount of conviction. The random vote stands out because they have contributed nothing else.

I don't know what it means because my brain is broken, but Zander has been hounding Bop and I all game but neither of us have called him Wolfie so no vote, Eldricks calls him Wolfie and he votes Eld.

People who know Zander, please explain.

Zander OMGUSes. As town, he legitimately can't fathom why anyone would scum read him, so therefore anyone who does must be scum. As scum, he does it because it's expected of his town game.

Mmmmmspades - Really liked spades' read list, as I mentioned when she did it. Haven't seen any reason to think this slot as scum. Easily my highest non-confirmed read.

Town lean
Darthe - As I just said I liked how he handled his responses to me. I've caught him as scum before on little things, and it's not really something I can describe well. Haven't had an issue with him yet so I'm leaning town.
Fred - Mostly tone. Like his recent posts.
Sooh - I have trouble reading sooh. Liked the tone of the post darthe and I vibed on. Kinda sheeping a bit on other people liking her.

Null
Cory/clov - As has been already discussed, these are experienced players. I'm gonna have trouble getting a read on them so they will likely be null for a while. Haven't really seen anything that i had an issue with except the tinfoil tmi I mentioned.
Marsh - read hasnt really changed from when I moved him back to null. I think I remember him being mislynched in the past, so also want to give him time to develop.
Cuth - ehhh? He's acting like he did in the last game, and he was a villager there, but he's doing it with people I don't think he knows as well so....I'm not sure how I feel about him
Coward - still waiting for actual game content. Lowest of my nulls.

Scum leans
Zander - Refusing to explain his reasons for sussing bop is irking me. All I want to do is understand, and he's voting me for not already getting it.
Scruff - Pretty sure my reason for this read is obvious. His initial post was bad, but his response to being asked about it was horrible. I explained why people were having issues with his post, and he said I was casting shade. Don't like that he seems to not be reading the thread (as evidenced by his throwing suss at the IC). Best bet for scum today.

For clarity's sake, are the town leans in order?
