I legitimately didn't know if the day phase would have been over by the time I got home from work.

 

I think the bandwagon on me is pretty much an overreaction. People are reading too much into a whole lot of nothing.

If it's an overreaction, give me a reason to move it.

How was it a scummy vote? I hadn't seen any vote counts at the time I made the vote. I honestly wouldn't have cared whether he had 6 votes or 0.

You didn't give any reasoning and it was your only post in the game at that point. That would fly on page 5 or so as a joke vote, but it was too late in the game and didn't read as a joke

It's Day 1, dude.

 

99.9% of D1 lynches are either pulled out of someone's ass, or based off of complete overreactions about nothing.

 

On the bright side, my "scummy vote" managed to bait a bandwagon onto me.

It's null for darthe to randomly drop a vote. It's null for him to vote someone he isn't confident in his read on for lulz or reactions.

 

It was odd that he pointed it out while voting, so I brought attention to it, but it's not really a bad look for him that he did it.

 

If he stays there, that's another matter.

Don't know what you're referencing here. The OP of this game hasn't updated since the game started, so afaik nothing has happened.

 

 

Been really busy lately...haven't had time to post or read until now. And this will be the last one that I can make for awhile actually.

 

I checked out the first ~200 posts of this thread and got bored. Pretty much nothing but banter and little of importance really. Standard fare for Day 1.

Here is why you got voted and sussed.

 

Because you voted someone even though you didn't find anything worth commenting on prior to eb post. (That the vote is one is irrelevant)

 

There are 2 main reasons town vote d1:

1. They found something that caught their attention and want to pursue it

2. They want to see what reactions they get from it

 

From your post, it's fairly easy to figure out that reason 1 is off the table.

 

Your response to the co sequent votes on you for this post leaves no indication of reason 2.

 

Therefore I see the train on you as justified. You responded to it poorly.

 

 

Really don't know how you came to the conclusion that reason 1 is "off the table."

 

I have no obligation to provide reasoning for everything I do, nor do I need to explain everything I do. I responded to the bandwagon just fine.

 

Can't say the same for you though. Really interesting how your strategy is to throw shade on the player with the most votes.

Eldrick was clearly explaining why you have a bandwagon, very logically imo.

 

While you don't have to do anything in this game, it generally look suspicious to pop your head in, say nothing looked important then vote on someone. And now you insinuate you have a reason but you don't care to share? You wonder why you're getting some heat?

Maybe I'm weird or wrong but I'd opt out of voting if I didn't have at least a slight reason for believing someone is wolfy. I think your actions and lack of interest in trying to solve the game but instead shake the heat off of your tail says a lot. It also seems like you only care to point a finger at Eldricks for whatever reason, not the others who voted you. Why are you focused on him?

I have no idea what to make of Sooh's reaction to Ted's hardclaim, especially if she knows who he is (which I expect she does).  On one hand, she should know that it means nothing for his alignment whatsoever - and that he's not stupid enough to make a genuine fake character claim as scum if it wasn't a safe claim anyway.  On the other hand, I can't fathom that mafia!Sooh seriously expected to get significant traction on him for that.

Just give it a thought. I'm sure you'll get there.

Imo sooh looked fine in tht above response to cory and in the initial thing he was questioning, it was maybe a bit sloppy or thoughtless of her but I wouldnt have considered it wolfy.

 

Aaaand I also think spades is owning scruff in her post questioning his vote when he thought day was done bit.

For someone playing on a new site having everyone attacking him, it might be good to ask more neutral questions in case he's a villager. Otherwise it's easy to just give up and say whatever to the whole game. It's not his site. We're not his close friends. He's got nothing to lose by peacing out if he's a villager. So what if people he doesn't know doesn't like his play.

 

If he's mafia, well, you'll catch more flies with honey. There's no way a wolf in a poor position from the word go is going to spew anything.

 

Generally the difference in my play is as such:

- People say things to me/about me which sounds like misrepping - claws out

- Assessing people, trying to make them talk in order to form an opinion - sugar and sweet

 

At least that's how I think about it myself, but Cory knows more about how I play than I do myself, so you can ask him.

Ugh. Note to self, do not post while in the Grocery store. It does not go through.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with Sooh's "Sassiness". It seemed odd at first, but looking back I think it was a combination of feeling accused right out the gate, and just having gone through that, plus out of game stress. I feel pretty comfy putting her in my town pile for now. Plus, I'm pretty sure I get what she was getting at with her interactions with Clov and Ted Bundy.
