I am now on the road I can be present to attempt to answer questions thrown my way, but just attempted and failed to ISO/Keep my thoughts straight while doing it on mobile so the rest of my reads will have to wait.

DreadPirateRoberts- Not a whole lot of content to read for you due to absence. (I really hope things are well with your Grandmother and hope your son is feeling better with it all). I also have no prior game experience with you, so your ISO is all I will have to go on. 

You are the one that called out the Shad/Dice exchange as bad posting with Shad not pursing it the way you thought he would have. I have no prior game experience with Shad, but I'll keep that observation in mind. So far looks good for you, though.

Good point and a concern. It was a weird point for Dice to get that excited about. I've liked other play that I've seen, but his back and forth with Alfred will need to be explained.

Honestly, other than your wrong insight to CuthaNyn being scum (you claimed they weren't, told ya so on that one btw), I'm not seeing any scumming evidence for you. You seemed to be really wary of Shad and of Shad/Dice exchanges, in light of my ISO on dice and whatnot, I would like to hear where you stand regarding them both now?

 

How do you feel about dice?

How do you feel about dice/shad interactions?

 

 

dice is more than capable of pulling this play off as scum. But my thought here is that he wouldn't stick his neck out quite that far (dustup with Alfred and defense of Nyn) if he thought he'd have to defend it later. It's the same position I'm in, so maybe I can easily see it as a Town mistake. 

 

I do need to RR and ISO and won't have time until tonight. 

 

Shad is different. I don't like Shad or Cass so far. I have notes connecting them with BFG during D1, and now BFG has revealed she's not Town, so it makes me lean more strongly toward scum for at least one of them. 

 

 

So you're leaning town for Dice and leanin scum for Cass, Shad, and BFG?

 

What are your thoughts on the rest of us?

Right?? It was horrid. For kicks and giggles I sorta watched through the entire thing. Fast forwarded through the EXTREMELY painful parts, but then couldn't even watch the ending because of his "Nobody puts baby in the corner" I gave up.

Cuth's strongest game I've seen was wild west as town, but that was a more active game and I think he thrives in interaction. He's been quieter in every other game (and I accept that he's a high poster volume wise this game, but there was little interaction/curiosity at the point of this read, but there's been very little from everyone) including the scum game I've seen, but he started that game as more of a thread leader. So the read itself doesn't really stand out as being unreasonable or with the information in thread as being out of place (Nyn hydra excepted) but the defence/read is still worth noting and need to see how it evolves

She's fooled me a time or two by just faking asking a lot of questions and being generally reasonable, and in general I think she's probably got a lot in common with me in terms of scum tells--namely she can sound good in any given instant but will taper off once she's achieved a comfortable position vs continually staying on the gas.

 

But in this case it's more just that we've played a lot of games together and I doubt she's going to have a go at me early as a wolf when she can just as easily pocket me for a phase or two without drawing my attention.  It's been talked about in post-games often enough to be something she's aware of, but in general I think we both ascribe to a path of least resistance approach to scumming, i.e. don't take a risk that can backfire when you can skate by just fine under the radar and kill the people who will cause trouble for you later in the game.

 

 

 

I can see what you saying here Shad. she was like that in 2 broke girls but with the gas turned way up until she was killed. So really it would be to early to tell for either of you for sure though.
