She's fooled me a time or two by just faking asking a lot of questions and being generally reasonable, and in general I think she's probably got a lot in common with me in terms of scum tells--namely she can sound good in any given instant but will taper off once she's achieved a comfortable position vs continually staying on the gas.

 

But in this case it's more just that we've played a lot of games together and I doubt she's going to have a go at me early as a wolf when she can just as easily pocket me for a phase or two without drawing my attention.  It's been talked about in post-games often enough to be something she's aware of, but in general I think we both ascribe to a path of least resistance approach to scumming, i.e. don't take a risk that can backfire when you can skate by just fine under the radar and kill the people who will cause trouble for you later in the game.

Generically speaking yes, and I know plenty of people who will insist that any sort of "player wouldn't do x" meta is inherently useless the moment it's revealed.  But in practice when you've played with someone enough to have a decent grasp on how they think some things are just not terribly likely to happen regardless.

i'd still say there's a substantial gap between "not terribly likely to happen" and "not happening"

 

again there may be a gulf between your stated read and your read in your head, and my quibblings are probably mostly based on a misrepresentation of that in my own mind

I've never had qualms about being overgenerous with my village reads D1, because most of the time they're right anyway and it's not like I stop reading their posts for the rest of the game.

He is the most active with the most reasonable content and I am not sure a scum would put themselves as the number one active in the spotlight player like that out the gate.

 

Cass so far seems to be similar to the time I played with her as town.

 

Possible on Tig but I need more to say for sure she is a hard read but a valuable player if town. Tough cookie we couldd use on our side so here is to hoping.

 

Shanti is also possible but some of the meta talk about her and from her kinda throws me off a bit. Just a weirdness around that I am not sure I like.

 

Adella is a tricky one who seems pretty level in both town and mafia so I cant really say yet.

 

You are on the same level as Adella. I have not really gotten to know you yet. I would say you look pretty town but with nyn as your other half I dont know about that. I have trouble reading nyn as anything but scum because she is so good at trolling everyone.

 

Dpr. Mostly absent so far and trying to avoid tunneling him as scum due to past games.

 

Dice in his couple of posts seems like himself but I dont have any scumdice meta to work with and he has not given us much to work with.

 

Alf is not around and this is the first time I have even seen him on the boards or mafia.

 

Darthe I have already talked about.

 

I wont vote till morning when I talk to Kronos obviously and he gets his reads in.
