I'm pretty much in the "kill it with fire" camp on Tigs. She's not new to mafia, she just hasn't been around in a while. I'm obviously sympathetic to getting used to the new style, but that thing where she posted on other threads and avoided this one went up sideways. Now she's posting, but it's not anything that couldn't be manufactured - there are no original reads or anything that says she's being genuine.

 

I re-read ed's stuff and I see the difference you pointed out - there are weird bumps in his flow where he does the "insert logic here" thing. From the start I made a point to not fall into my same views about him, but that is different than what he did in the other two games.

 

He and Tigs know each other, and after last game I seriously doubt they are both scum deciding to lay low. So if one flips dirty, I doubt the other is.

 

I re-read Lenlo. I still like him for scum. Bottom line is he did focus on TLM all day by bringing it up over and over, and regardless of my interpretation of his points, he turned around and voted TLM. To me, that's anti-town, pure and simple. He gets a newly trademarked No Bueno!

It just wasn't worth it, to her. But Yamaguchi knew that national security was at stake, and he knew that he was getting somewhere, if only in painfully slow steps until now.

The discovery that the Laughing Man task force--even he himself--had been bugged with surveillance equipment slid a huge piece of the puzzle into play. So many times during the investigation he had been blocked from accessing data, and his superiors had always insisted that the Laughing Man itself was shielding the information with some sophisticated and well-covered hack. But it didn't add up, and the more he looked at Serano Genomics independently, the more he began to suspect that powerful figures in the government itself were covering things up. Was it a coincidence that Superintendent-General Daito was a major share holder in the company? The links went pretty high up. Even Secretary General Yakushima appeared to be sitting on a huge investment in the firm. That wasn't illegal. A lot of it was public record. But why all the cover-up if there was no crime?

Footsteps interrupted his train of thought.



"Officer Nibu! I didn't expect to see you this late," Yamaguchi turned nervously from his desk to face his superior. Nibu had never worked a minute of overtime in his life.

"Is something the matter Yamaguchi?"

"Nn..no sir," he sputtered, quickly attaching his most recent research to an email and sending it to Section 9.

"You look nervous," Nibu stated, continuing to leer from the doorway.

And it took like almost 12 hours for 3 paragraphs and the 4 people she picked 2 of 3 of lowest end posters. And like darthes blurb was a sentence and she got a null there, 1 Town with Sooh and 1 kinda possibly Town in Dice.

 

Again maybe shes Town and it would be what it was in that case but her whole game thus far is at least to me do the bare minimal possible to not get lynched and it's usually Scum that does that imo.

God damnit DPR that was a legit thing I want someone to do. I randed town for all my games. Yet I read as scum until the end when it is solid obvious I am town. So f off dude. I am just trying to learn so I can get better at this game. Thats why I said for some one to volunteer to help me after this game is done. That doesnt help me now and that was not the point anyway. NM I will PM a few people after to see if they are up for it.

Ok, first of all I don't understand why you spent EOD focused on me, Z, but your vote never left Adam no matter what he said. Killa, Dice and Seph weren't around during EOD, so they didn't get to see his last spurt of posts, and Lenlo made a conscious decision to jump onto Adam right at the end there. Your actions are more ??? in that respect, because you seemed to not treat him as much as a suspect and more like someone you were trying to figure out, so to me it would have made more sense if your vote was on me or Tigraine tbh.

Well, I happen to know that I'm not scum with Darthe, so there's that. I was saying it mainly because I didn't know how far it would go last night, and because when I flipped I didn't want people to just condemn his actions without thinking about it. To me it looked more like fancy town play than scum play.

 

Brackets are alternatives, and those are not my actual choices because I had a brainfart when I first woke up.

Okay guys, I apologize for my inactivity in this thread. My weekend was unusually hectic which is crazy bacuse I'm usually just sitting on my rump trying very hard not to strangle my two boys.

 

I understand that my not being here is putting you all in a position to question my alliance merely due to the fact that you have no content to go on.

 

As for posting in the other game but not here, you have to understand...I had 346 new notifications and all but 6 of then we're for this game. It made more sense to catch up there and do proper reads before tackling this beast.

 

This is my 3rd game back and this is by far the largest content in any of the games and it is slightly overwhelming.

 

So far, after page 13 or 14, I have largely skimmed just to try to keep up. A lot of you all I have never played with to my recollection and the ones I have played with since being back have played differently than I remember.

 

Killa seems to be playing the same as she did in the first game in which she flipped VT. I can see her confidence growing with each game which is good. She's playing the same as she has in the 2nd game which hasn't ended so idk her alliance.

 

Ed seems to be posting more content then he did in either of the games. One he was VT, the other he was scum. But as he was extremely busy during the first game and the biggest part of the second, I'm afraid I can't give a read on him.

 

DPR has been more of the DPR I remember in this game than he was in the first. He's giving reads more and more engaged. Towards the end of the first game, he was playing like he is now and he flipped GF. However. Once upon a time, I couldn't read him to save my own life.

 

Not very helpful I know but that's what I've gotten thus far.

 

I'm going to attempt to do some researching on the remaining players and see what I find.

 

As for the laughing man, I've never seen the cartoon and have no clue what to make of it.

 

Can attest to her usually sitting on her rump. 

 

Tigs, totes understand being busy....but, I have to question if you read at this point. I think my content is pretty comparable, but certainly not more. 

Trust your initial DPR reads. They're usually right. Except for Fight Club; man was that messed up.

Yeah, his take on the whole cory chatter echoed my own and I specifically liked the post where he explained in length about the fearmongering. But I also asked earlier if he has given any leans so far and top 3 per Zander's request. Via your ISO, I'm guessing no.

 

Did Zander ask? Didnt notice. I know he asked for an "I am town" statement for LD like he always does and if anyone knew the source, which im pretty sure I indicated earlier on that I did.

Finally, humor me. What other thing has occurred in this game of note? Of the same level as there being an extra slot from the mod? Has someone slipped? Someone claimed? There been some massive big case reveal? Its D1 dude. Theres very rarely anything of note until we get the first flip and can begin to connect some dots. I always wait for the first flip before I pull out the marker.

Wanted to go ahead and post these two even though I haven't finished DPR.

 

Seph- started out pretty basic, joking, guessing at TLM, encouraging discussion, but then idk there is a point that a flip switched for me. Twice he said he was going to ISO Lenlo but I missed it if he did. I feel like he dances back and forth on Lenlo to where I can't tell if he is defending Lenlo, going after Lenlo or distracting from Lenlo Or at least that's how I saw it. I don't like that, screams scum to me. Not wanting to commit to a decision.

Then the, "screw it I'm done" mentality doesn't really scream town to me.

 

Killa- she started out slightly more aggressive than she has in the previous games. I thought she waa scum in the first one and went after her pretty hard and honestly she seems scummier in this game. I can't figure out if she's just coming into her own or still just trying to slowly tweak her game or if she is scummy mcscummerson. The way she vehemently defends herself is the same aa the first game.

 

 

Also, I am town. If no one else sees a problem with it then I might as well. Btw, I wasn't the only one that hasn't given you that statement.

Killa's blurb is pretty thin and i dont really see what Tigs read on her even is.

 

seph's is a LITTLE more in depth but again no real confirmed read on him.  I see the "doesnt scream Town me: part but still is pretty much fence sitting to me.  Same with most of the reads she gave.

 

Like this is 5 reads she given and its taken like 20 hours or so for and al of them are like 5-6 small paragraphs.
