ed - I won't make a firm call here until I see him leave the humor behind and really start to play. D2 will matter a lot and he continues to "catch up", I'll take that as a bad sign.

1. I never stop joking completely

2. I don't lie about RL business. One game, I was the Cop and got Lynched D1 without even a reason to defend myself because I was pretty scarce. But I told everyone I would be because my pet rock was dying. He died at the same time I was Lynched, and that's why I took a break from Mafia. :/

My comment was about how you balance your ever present wit vs. actual gam content. If you show more funny than money, I see that as a bad sign.

My list from town to scum so far.

 

Shadory- seems town for sure. Clever and insightful. If scum I will be floored

Sooh- just reads town.

 

 

 

Wbk- though he was late and I was ok lynching he has made a good come back.

 

Clov- seems super town most of the time but I sometimes feel he is good enough to play off being scum. Similar play to cory.

 

Manbat- he is so erratic and drama its hard to tell but currently I lean more town than scum.

 

 

Tress- null

 

Ed- could be town but more null because of lack of content on the actual game.

 

Dpr- really want him to be town but some of what he posts is fishy to me.

 

Tigraine- dont know for sure but would not mind lynching due to current situations.

 

You left me off, but your list is good sans that dpr should be up one and the break should be between him and ed.

Just a note: it's almost guaranteed that Niniel told her wolfbros to bus her very early in the game (or some sort of strategy re: her). I can tell you why, but it's going to sound egotistical (but it's probably right!)

 

So that's something I'm going to pay attention to - specfically people who have fake negative-leaning progressions on Niniel

Because she thought you'd be able to read her and figure her out and she wanted her mates to look good?

01:24 PM ET (US) As Cory said, he will definitely find out that I´m mafia. That is one of the reasons I have you in my mafia list. But I think people will focus more on you if you don´t post any clear reads. It looks a bit "fluffy" right now. Now, maybe you usally play that way? If so then it´s okay. I´m connecting you to Ocicat. If he get´s lynched and shown town then it might look better for you. Not sure if I´m doing this right.

 

If I´m alive by night I want to kill Cory. I´m sorry that he rarely outlives N1 but he will definitely find me out. :(

 

I promise this isn't an ego stroke (I acknowledge I have the worst personality of all time and I have no idea why any of you put up with me) but just a reminder that Niniel will 100% push teammates and encourage her team to bus her if she feels it'll help her team. So, idk, don't be fooled by shallow bussing plays or anything like that - Tina is a smart player and knows how to put a strategy together.

 

I feel like I have to say this because a lot of people are clearing Ed. I don't have a really solid read on Ed yet (I'm not saying he's mafia), but if he has some weak 1v1 with Niniel that isn't necessarily a positive sign.

The circumstance does help clear me though. Thats my only vote in this game and I left it on a teammate even when I was calling wbk a wolf and had a good spot to switch and he was lead train? Unless we are both wolves its a tough sell, usually.

Yes and Darthe.  I mean we've all played with you before, most of us have probably been scum with you before at some point or another, and we're generally aware that you'll do a lot of unorthodox things with a plan in mind in order to manufacture a winning scenario.  It looked to all the world like WBK was never coming back and would eat the D1 lynch without much fuss for it, and you're not the sort to panic that you were contributing to your team mate being the distant second option.  Once Cory bit he bit hard, and you're not going to panic at that either.  You play to the field and you're only going to get wiggly about it when the people who you think would call you out on it are dead or else your game is on the line.  You're a good wolf, generally, and one that will pull a sufficiently wide array of punches that it prevents you from skating by as a middling villager without drawing negative attention.  I think it's entirely possible you're a villager in this game, but you're not exactly easy to pin down and there's little you can do by way of vote placement and well timed pressure on the right people to earn yourself a solid clear.  The only times I've felt you were a pretty obvious villager were when you showed a clear and persistent investment in wanting town to win.  Namely, Dragon Reborn and Lost that I can recall.

 

I recognize you can't give 110% in every game you play and I don't really demand that of anyone (though I've learned to expect it from some), but if you were a bit more aware of why villagers in general struggle to clear you for things they would clear others for, perhaps you could find a more effective way to show it when you really are town?

I'm not ruling out the possibility, though the way that Niniel danced around him yesterday afternoon. I'd have to check when Kronos REALLY developed as a candidate to make sure, but she said she could go for Ed, Darthe, or Seph, or "possibly Kronos" but it was possible something happened to him. I appreciate the sentiment and would like to think she was just being friendly, but I would expect that Mafia!Niniel wouldn't inherently oppose lynching Town!Kronos just because he wasn't around (especially with Shad pointing out that he HAD been on other parts of the forum).

 

Combined that with the weird way he approached HER yesterday, and I have a hard time thinking it's not the best place to start.

She *might* have been setting him up as well, though that is WIFOM.

She absolutely could have been, but it was a very weird interaction in both directions, not just hers. On top of that - based only on thinking about how I play as mafia - that's a really bad course of action. She would have essentially been trading a member of her scumteam (her) for one mislynch...that isn't even guaranteed. If he's a vig and shoots a member of the mafia, then hardclaims tomorrow, he's basically free.

 

You take the mislynch when you can, and keep your team alive.

I will not be shooting anyone or claiming Vig. K thanks.

*nod* You've never played with him, and that makes a huge difference.  I know you don't hold to meta, but Cory is the type of player who doesn't change up how he plays as town in order to make it easier to win as mafia - he does his best to mimic his town game when he rolls not town.  His best is pretty good, but there are a few things he just can't change about his personality, and once you know his personality a bit better, you'll start to recognize it.  

 

If we get to the end and Cory flips mafia, I will submit myself to public humiliation and your eternal ridicule.  if there is any chance at all of him not flipping town, I'd say maybe a 10-20% chance that he flips SK with a bulletproof vest, but odds are super strong that it's just Town!Cory.

 

Shad's pretty much the same type of player, i have a bit of a harder time picking out his mafia range, but the two of them together in one slot is almost unfair how obvious they are for people who have experience playing with them.

This reads pretty off-the-cuff sincere.

 

I suppose it's not a hard topic to fake on but I like it.

Shad: I was only shoo successful in Frozen because my team was acting scummy and not working together. I put pressure on them early and pushed for their lynched when they didn't change. It was the only way I could think of plaguing to help us win. It wad fun though.

Day 1 has never told me much until after it has ended. On the off chance that mafia is lynched today, I would look to those that chased then the hardest as the remaining scum. Only because I believe that to be a good strategy in looking vanilla.

For the second point, have to check most recent vote count there, because I don't think Nin was high at that point. But just pinged me having the info that she did flip Mafia.

Also Ed, that post was a hypothetical, and it was about Kronos.  The point was, she had no interest in pursuing him and I would expect she wouldn't have tried to find a reason to avoid lynching him if he's town when she's on the block and he's the most viable counterwagon (and was leading at that point, IIRC?).
