i'm not trying to use the same argument for darthe, i am politely informing you that he is very scummy and that you should, as such, vote for him

Iron viewing Cuth as manipulating does not make sense to me in this game, but given how I have seen him play makes sense with him being partners I believe with Cuth last game? And Cuth doing that then he is seeing him in the same light so to speak?

 

I viewed it as more towny and still do. But as I haven't been in many games with them it could also be scum trying to pin something on someone.

To be honest I just don't see iron doing the latter here.

Now that you say that it could be true. I've only ever played one game with Cuth and we were scum together. This could be his normal play and I'm just incapable of telling the difference.

He said that my (very recent) game with you as partners could be coloring my perceptions. That's something I hadn't considered and it's probably true. I have a chronic case of recency bias, where what happened in the near past weighs more heavily on my reasoning than the more distant past.

Last game you owned the thread for the first two or three phases. You were the most active player and the most vocal, and it would have won the game for us if not for a) Darthe's GOAT read getting me lynched and b) you losing steam in the last two days. I think I see that being replicated here, but it could be your normal play. After all, you did say your scum strategy was to play like your normal self.

I actually don't mind this.  I get this sort of read, and it'll work itself out I think.  

 

Reading Darthe from one game to the next is like reading two different people. Even as town he likes to mix things up a ton in my experience. 

You aren't wrong, but let's run with it.  

 

I'm not ready to lean any way on Darthe yet, but if you have a read, that's great. Got any reads on anyone else?

You seem really open this game.

 

He seems to be using other people's reads of Darthe over his own, for example. Taking those into higher consideration.

 

On the surface, that's a bad move, because when someone is Mafia, they're not truly reading someone like town are. And so early in the game, most reads are pure hunches.

TBF I would take my reads over his too.
