I know I have a lot of nulls but that's because all that was talked about was liz/mc, dice, and eldrick.  With a little bit of darthe and notbob thrown in.  Everybody had the same idea, even me to a certain extent.  Though I can't really say that cause we had 2 major trains and a couple of small ones.  

 

Why is DPR such a strong town read for you?

 

And what did you like about Crusher's approach to questioning me about that post?

 

 

1. Maybe I got this thing for harsh males but seriously I like how he just sticks to the point, says it like it is.  Yes, he throws punches but he can also take them and he will give cudos where cudos is due.

 

2. I liked that he pushed you to make content instead of defending yourself. To try and give you some confidence, imo.

 

 

 

And Wifi, why is sooh a null for you? Given her position on the lynch wagon I'm not really understanding your reasoning there and you have no explanation.

 

I'm not even going to get into you having me and MrsClov as a null when we joined the notbob wagon while there were two other viable wagons we easily could have tried to push. Especially the Eldrick one given there was so much nudging of eldrick as a lynch candidate all day.

Okay. I think I got some good information. Haven't fully gotten through, but I really feel this is a good place to start. I've attached a spreadsheet that shows the votes and unvotes of each player (unless I missed any) Vertical is the player voting, horizontal is who is being voted. # is the post number the voted U# is where they unvoted. Wow,  the groupthink in this thread is ridiculous. None of you see it as a little odd that everyone seems to be jumping up and down saying that what Liz and I have done are scummy? I find it hard to believe that you are all town and really truly can't see the problem with everyone but Liz and I saying that what we've said is scummy. Definitely leaning town on Seph and Cuth right now, but I'm questioning some of you who have come, in this morning and are so easily going with the general consensus of the thread. Incredibly concerned that Tinker doesn't seem to think there's anything of value in the thread right now.

Cliff note version, make of it what you will: Liz and I placed a joke vote on Dice and it blew up out of control many of the conversations we've had with people made them start going after us for being scum (we're not) so we've been on the defense all day phase. Liz was trying to expand everyone's thoughts and ask people to open their minds and really think about it and asked who would our scum partners be. So now that's apparently the scummiest thing ever. I spent a large chunk of last night trying to reason with those who were on because they were expecting us to find scum, when it's kind of hard to get things done when you're constantly having to defend yourself. Cuth, Seph, and Eldrick gave us a courtesy unvote, we unvoted Dice. Came back this morning to people who hadn't been around a ton yesterday agreeing that we're scummy. It just seems odd that no one has a problem with a large part of the game thinking this is scummy. It's like they're just going after the easiest thing to lynch in the thread.

I mentioned this before because It's really sticking out to me. At the time he said this the ones who were lynching us were Dice, Darthe, and DPR. At the end of all the voting, the ones who were still on us were Dice, DPR, and Tinker. I could be reading way to much into this and he could have been saying it to lead us astray, but looking back it almost seems like TMI.

essentially I am not getting eldrick lynched within the next 3 hours or so? While re reading I kept noticing alot of my town reads are reading him highly, and they do in fact read them better than me. So in point here, yes I would like to lynch him, but no its not happening today.

I think lizclov has a better chance at being town over notbob/eldrick/tink so i would like to divert that lynch if at all possible. the best chance I have is a notbob lynch as it still would provide useful info and I do not think I would be lynching a townieover it.

This post bothers both Liz and I. I don't understand the bold at the bottom. It seems weird. Idk. Oh and in hindsight the lynching us to get blood in the water comment really should have got more notice.

Liz already addressed this, but considering it was very late in the phase (#1147) and there was no build up it seems Odd. Especially if you look at it in the context of the first thing I quoted from NB in this post. 

 

Liz and I have a lot to read and discuss still, but here is where we're at so far and why. No particular order within the sections, also these are tentative for the time being.

 

Townie leans

Seph- As scum, he would have no reason to defend us the way he did. He went really hard on defending us when we were previously his most suspected slot. I don't know Seph's game at all, but he actively seems to be figuring out the game and encouraging others to do so. I just can't fathom scum dropping their mislynch candidate, hard defending them, and then getting their teammate lynched in the process. 

Cuth- Pretty similar reasons as to Seph. He was the first to really talk to me/Liz and try to see where we're coming from. Got other people on our lynch to unvote us and give us a chance to work in the thread without the distraction of having to defend ourselves. 

Eldrick- Based on what we've found going back there is no way I can believe that NB and Eldrick are aligned. He voted and unvoted Eldrick a few times, through shade at him a bit without really saying why he thought Eldrick was scummy, and then was at one point in time asking why someone didn't find Eldrick scummy. That combined with his attempt to solve the game, we just can't see Eldrick as scum. 

Sooh- I was kind of already leaning town on Sooh because of her line of questioning to people in the thread. I believe Liz has recently posted reasons on why we're Sooh as town, so I'm not going to rehash. 
DPR- I think this was a hard decision for both of us to come to. Liz was already feeling townie as mentioned in some of her posts last night. Once I calmed down, I was begrudgingly seeing what she was saying. Then when I ISO'd I noticed a lot of linking NB seemed to do to DPR. DPR was in the orginal quoted post and NotBob's reason for voting us in the first place was because he was going to follow the pirate, which was after he had just told me there was probably scum on our train. It could be scum following a scum mate's lead, but it seems easier and more likely that he was maybe linking himself to a town DPR for whatever reason.
 

Null

Hallia- I moved her down to Null from town because of self-doubt. Last game, as scum, she was the D1 lynch and while I am seeing way more of her town game here and not what I consider her scum game, I pretty fully explained what I found her meta to be that convinced me she was scum. So my self doubt comes from if I'm being tricked or not. That being said, she's still probably town, but I'd like to see where she's at after all of the happenings of EOD. 

Wifi- I don't really have much of anything on Wifi. I know she's posted a couple of times, but nothing's really struck me as scummy or as town.

Spoof- I know he posted a bit early D1, but I don't remember any of it and I don't even know if it was game related. I have noted he just came back into the thread after deadline, which always strikes me as a little odd. Though, I can't really say much since I did as well today, but I woke up right at 11. *shrug*

Cass- Liz and I were kind of back and forth on Cass a lot. We felt she was townie because of asking a lot of questions, but at the same time we weren't sure they were leading anywhere. I liked that in one post she had said she needed to see the progression of our reads and not just the conclusions, and that felt townie to me. However, she's been kind of MIA and I'd like to see where her thoughts are now. Liz brought up a bit that Cass's joke vote never left Darthe, so that may be something of note as well.

 

Not sure where to put

Crusher- Initial read I wasn't crazy about his posts, but on reread I didn't hate them. His timing of his vote on NB is sketchy, but at the same time on the reread I learned he had gone from slightly defending Not Bob in #594 and #605 to having him in his scum list in #934 and #953. 

Kronos- Kind of similar reasoning to Crusher, but originally I thought Kronos had a vote on us and switched to NB. He actually hadn't and as far as I can tell his only votes were on Hallia and NB. He voted NB in #1154, and when I read it without thinking of the timing of his post, I can really follow the train of thought and rather like it. 

Dice- I kind of want to lean more scummy on him, but Liz and I are talking it out. Neither of us are really sure how to read it. I feel he's being very hypocritical when he says that we've been reactive for a little amount of pressure. Our vote was a joke vote on him, and after some time we got massive walls of text about his reasoning we were scum. It seemed a little overkill, especially when I've never see him be that verbose in a game (not that I've played many games with him.) His refusal to even consider us as anything but scum is just stubborn. And while he can say his vote wasn't OMGUS, his reactions certainly make it seem otherwise. Liz noted that he had soft defended NB in one post, and I believe he also wanted to vote Eldrick who NB was voting and not voting like it was going out of style. Not saying I'm scum reading him, but I'm definitely not town reading him, but I really don't feel I can put him as a null.  Then I keep going back to the post NB made about scum probably being on us and Dice being one of the 3 who was.

 

Possible Scummers

Darthe- I'm still hung up on his intro and his unwillingness to even hear us out. Then to come in and read the thread and still have us as scum after the lynch is ridiculous in my opinion. He doesn't come across as trying to solve the game at all. He's coming off as the only thing he wants to do is lynch Liz and I because apparently every post we make is scummy to him. I find that hard to believe that of several hundred posts between the two of us nothing even remotely hints as townie to him. NB's post about scum being on Liz and I still sticks out to me, and there was no build up from his switch to us to NB. Liz has already pointed out some other areas of note on this as well. 
Tinker- I don't really feel like he added much content to the thread. He came in what 40 pages in and said there was nothing to talk about? I still don't understand how you can come in to a thread at that point have not a single thing to say. The vote on us was awful. No thoughts on leading up to it what so ever as far as I can tell.

As for wagonomics, it's not so much wagonomics as the fact that she joined the wagon on notbob when there wasn't a strong will to lynch him and there were other wagons (especially eldrick's) that would have been easier to join.

Cuth, Seph, and Eldrick gave us a courtesy unvote, we unvoted Dice. Came back this morning to people who hadn't been around a ton yesterday agreeing that we're scummy. It just seems odd that no one has a problem with a large part of the game thinking this is scummy. It's like they're just going after the easiest thing to lynch in the thread.

I mentioned this before because It's really sticking out to me. At the time he said this the ones who were lynching us were Dice, Darthe, and DPR. At the end of all the voting, the ones who were still on us were Dice, DPR, and Tinker. I could be reading way to much into this and he could have been saying it to lead us astray, but looking back it almost seems like TMI.

 

 

 

 

Screw it I think this lynch gives just as much info as the hydra and notbob's play hasn't been the best. I would rather bet kissyclov is town over notbob and this is the only way i can save them.

Will you say a bit more about your reasoning here - specifically the post where you commented that you could almost vote NB for the post of his that you quoted? 

 

essentially I am not getting eldrick lynched within the next 3 hours or so? While re reading I kept noticing alot of my town reads are reading him highly, and they do in fact read them better than me. So in point here, yes I would like to lynch him, but no its not happening today.

 

I think lizclov has a better chance at being town over notbob/eldrick/tink so i would like to divert that lynch if at all possible. the best chance I have is a notbob lynch as it still would provide useful info and I do not think I would be lynching a townieover it.

Liz already addressed this, but considering it was very late in the phase (#1147) and there was no build up it seems Odd. Especially if you look at it in the context of the first thing I quoted from NB in this post. 

 

Liz and I have a lot to read and discuss still, but here is where we're at so far and why. No particular order within the sections, also these are tentative for the time being.

 

Townie leans

Seph- As scum, he would have no reason to defend us the way he did. He went really hard on defending us when we were previously his most suspected slot. I don't know Seph's game at all, but he actively seems to be figuring out the game and encouraging others to do so. I just can't fathom scum dropping their mislynch candidate, hard defending them, and then getting their teammate lynched in the process. 

Cuth- Pretty similar reasons as to Seph. He was the first to really talk to me/Liz and try to see where we're coming from. Got other people on our lynch to unvote us and give us a chance to work in the thread without the distraction of having to defend ourselves. 

Eldrick- Based on what we've found going back there is no way I can believe that NB and Eldrick are aligned. He voted and unvoted Eldrick a few times, through shade at him a bit without really saying why he thought Eldrick was scummy, and then was at one point in time asking why someone didn't find Eldrick scummy. That combined with his attempt to solve the game, we just can't see Eldrick as scum. 

Sooh- I was kind of already leaning town on Sooh because of her line of questioning to people in the thread. I believe Liz has recently posted reasons on why we're Sooh as town, so I'm not going to rehash. 

DPR- I think this was a hard decision for both of us to come to. Liz was already feeling townie as mentioned in some of her posts last night. Once I calmed down, I was begrudgingly seeing what she was saying. Then when I ISO'd I noticed a lot of linking NB seemed to do to DPR. DPR was in the orginal quoted post and NotBob's reason for voting us in the first place was because he was going to follow the pirate, which was after he had just told me there was probably scum on our train. It could be scum following a scum mate's lead, but it seems easier and more likely that he was maybe linking himself to a town DPR for whatever reason.

 

Null

Hallia- I moved her down to Null from town because of self-doubt. Last game, as scum, she was the D1 lynch and while I am seeing way more of her town game here and not what I consider her scum game, I pretty fully explained what I found her meta to be that convinced me she was scum. So my self doubt comes from if I'm being tricked or not. That being said, she's still probably town, but I'd like to see where she's at after all of the happenings of EOD. 

Wifi- I don't really have much of anything on Wifi. I know she's posted a couple of times, but nothing's really struck me as scummy or as town.

Spoof- I know he posted a bit early D1, but I don't remember any of it and I don't even know if it was game related. I have noted he just came back into the thread after deadline, which always strikes me as a little odd. Though, I can't really say much since I did as well today, but I woke up right at 11. *shrug*

Cass- Liz and I were kind of back and forth on Cass a lot. We felt she was townie because of asking a lot of questions, but at the same time we weren't sure they were leading anywhere. I liked that in one post she had said she needed to see the progression of our reads and not just the conclusions, and that felt townie to me. However, she's been kind of MIA and I'd like to see where her thoughts are now. Liz brought up a bit that Cass's joke vote never left Darthe, so that may be something of note as well.

 

Not sure where to put

Crusher- Initial read I wasn't crazy about his posts, but on reread I didn't hate them. His timing of his vote on NB is sketchy, but at the same time on the reread I learned he had gone from slightly defending Not Bob in #594 and #605 to having him in his scum list in #934 and #953. 

Kronos- Kind of similar reasoning to Crusher, but originally I thought Kronos had a vote on us and switched to NB. He actually hadn't and as far as I can tell his only votes were on Hallia and NB. He voted NB in #1154, and when I read it without thinking of the timing of his post, I can really follow the train of thought and rather like it. 

Dice- I kind of want to lean more scummy on him, but Liz and I are talking it out. Neither of us are really sure how to read it. I feel he's being very hypocritical when he says that we've been reactive for a little amount of pressure. Our vote was a joke vote on him, and after some time we got massive walls of text about his reasoning we were scum. It seemed a little overkill, especially when I've never see him be that verbose in a game (not that I've played many games with him.) His refusal to even consider us as anything but scum is just stubborn. And while he can say his vote wasn't OMGUS, his reactions certainly make it seem otherwise. Liz noted that he had soft defended NB in one post, and I believe he also wanted to vote Eldrick who NB was voting and not voting like it was going out of style. Not saying I'm scum reading him, but I'm definitely not town reading him, but I really don't feel I can put him as a null.  Then I keep going back to the post NB made about scum probably being on us and Dice being one of the 3 who was.

 

Possible Scummers

Darthe- I'm still hung up on his intro and his unwillingness to even hear us out. Then to come in and read the thread and still have us as scum after the lynch is ridiculous in my opinion. He doesn't come across as trying to solve the game at all. He's coming off as the only thing he wants to do is lynch Liz and I because apparently every post we make is scummy to him. I find that hard to believe that of several hundred posts between the two of us nothing even remotely hints as townie to him. NB's post about scum being on Liz and I still sticks out to me, and there was no build up from his switch to us to NB. Liz has already pointed out some other areas of note on this as well. 

Tinker- I don't really feel like he added much content to the thread. He came in what 40 pages in and said there was nothing to talk about? I still don't understand how you can come in to a thread at that point have not a single thing to say. The vote on us was awful. No thoughts on leading up to it what so ever as far as I can tell.

As for wagonomics, it's not so much wagonomics as the fact that she joined the wagon on notbob when there wasn't a strong will to lynch him and there were other wagons (especially eldrick's) that would have been easier to join.

I am assuming this is to me?  If it is...He said he had a bad feeling about notbob on the 12th at 8:36pm that was a day and a half before deadline. My guess is he was just messing with you because that's the way he is  However, I just read some more and he pretended that he just made up his mind to join the lynch on nb. So, I know that he likes to bus.  He did it to me when we were scum partners. I think this was premeditated. this was pre-flip.

I know I have a lot of nulls but that's because all that was talked about was liz/mc, dice, and eldrick.  With a little bit of darthe and notbob thrown in.  Everybody had the same idea, even me to a certain extent.  Though I can't really say that cause we had 2 major trains and a couple of small ones.  

 

Why is DPR such a strong town read for you?

 

And what did you like about Crusher's approach to questioning me about that post?

 

 

1. Maybe I got this thing for harsh males but seriously I like how he just sticks to the point, says it like it is.  Yes, he throws punches but he can also take them and he will give cudos where cudos is due.

 

2. I liked that he pushed you to make content instead of defending yourself. To try and give you some confidence, imo.

 

 

And Wifi, why is sooh a null for you? Given her position on the lynch wagon I'm not really understanding your reasoning there and you have no explanation.

 

I'm not even going to get into you having me and MrsClov as a null when we joined the notbob wagon while there were two other viable wagons we easily could have tried to push. Especially the Eldrick one given there was so much nudging of eldrick as a lynch candidate all day.

As for wagonomics, it's not so much wagonomics as the fact that she joined the wagon on notbob when there wasn't a strong will to lynch him and there were other wagons (especially eldrick's) that would have been easier to join.

I have enough trouble keeping who said what and when straight ^^^^the above an example of^^^^ nevermind trying to figure out the voting trains.  I rarely if ever look at the voting trains unless they are on me.  This is a slow game comparatively.  If zander were here there would be over 200 pages by now.  I only exaggerate by a little.

The only part of my original thought that I backed off of was the fact that he tried to give you some self confidence, and the reason I backed off of that: because I did his ISO.  He only has a few pages and I went through each post and besides saying thank you, once I think. He pretty much digs into you really good.

Who were you thinking NotBob might have been busing?

Eldrick obviously. He spend a lot of his D1 shading Eldrick, so if he's one to bus in that way I have to look back at Eldrick. If not, Eldrick is pretty much clear, no?

Oh okay. I guess I missed it because I just can't see eldrick being scum here. He was my earliest strong town read and his treatment of the wagons seems above reproach to me
