Sorry! I forgot about this, Mother! Does this work?
-
How's this? I can get them both added to a rotation if you like it.
-
Here's a first attempt. What do you think?
-
Do you want it to say anything, Mother?

Rafe Judkins, the writer and showrunner for a potential Wheel of Time television series sent out a tweet earlier this week showing off his worn copies of the first three novels. Many have speculated that this means Judkins is starting to work on a script for the show.
Adam Whitehead sums up the current rights and details of the show on his website, stating :
QuoteAlthough Sony have committed to producing the Wheel of Time TV show, they have not yet found a network production partner. According to strong rumours, they were close to a deal with Amazon TV which was then relegated by Amazon's decision to develop a Lord of the Rings prequel project instead. Although it's not impossible that Amazon would develop a second very expensive epic fantasy series (they can afford it), it would seem to make the project less likely.
Other possible partners mostly seem to be sewn up with their own fantasy projects: Netflix with The Witcher, Showtime with The Kingkiller Chronicle prequel series, Starz with American Gods (and Outlander), SyFy with The Magicians and Paramount with Shannara. That leaves some possibilities, such as CBS All Access (who need more content beyond Star Trek: Discovery, stat), AMC (although they are unlikely to be able to afford it) or FX.
FX is an interesting possibility, both for their own productions (including the high-budget, well-regarded Fargo), the fact they aired the "Winter Dragon" pilot/advert thing from three years ago and they are now owned by Disney, who may be interested in a big epic fantasy project, either for FX, Hulu or their new, adult-oriented streaming channel they are currently developing (which will have both a Star Wars live-action show and a Marvel Cinematic Universe series for its launch in 2019 or 2020).We are all very anxious to see the show find a home, and having a fan at the helm definitely gives me hope! If you want to keep up to date with all the latest information, you can follow Judkins on Twitter.

Look at the old threads and who it says posted them. Darthe is showing as his email address.
It's like wrong data has been picked up from the transfer ... like your updated name was in a different field to where it should have been.
I think this is an issue between user name and displayed name. It has been brought to our attention and we're looking into why this happened.

Ithi, have you seen this?
At the top Home tab, you can select "unread content." From there, you can narrow what you're looking for, to topics, content you follow, etc.
Select what you want to view then hit "Save as new stream." I'm still learning all this too, so that might not be the right solution.

People should be trickling back now.... Hopefully.

Hi Ithi! I think the lag is something that's being worked on. The old site is STILL being archived or transferred or whatever it is that it does. It should improve once everything is finished. If not, please let us know so we can address it!

*lol*
The site is still offline, Cindy. It's not viewable to the public, only certain members. We are still waiting for the rest of the upgrade to be completed before it goes online for realsies.

Really, Sooh? That’s amazing!
It’s an actual place. My husband’s from there, and I used it for the setting of my latest book “The Accident Curse.” *lol*
lol 325 population. What are the odds?
Now I need to know who you know. We might be related! My in-laws live there--my dad runs his own mechanic shop, and my mom is one of the owners of Hilltop Fruit Market in Grantsville.

I really don’t know which one I liked best. It’s hard to separate them, as they told the three parts of the story. Something like Harry Potter seems episodic—the different years equal different adventures, with the main plot against Voldemort as a unifying presence. But this feels cohesive, meant to be seen as one, not three.

*lol* That is so hilarious! It’s such a tiny place, it seems so weird for anyone to remember it.

I think I’ve decided on an outline to try for NaNo. That’s only if I can finish the one I’m currently working on. I’ve got a submission date of November for it, but I want to finish by the end of October.

Wow! Second half was so much better! I guess the prices had to be assembled, which was boring, but once they all came together it was amazing!
I love Sam. I love Sam so much. He was my favorite character! And Frodo!
I cried for the last 30-40 minutes. Such a great conclusion to the story!

At the second half and it’s slow going. It’s much more boring than the others so far.
-
Already seeing lots of Harry and Dumbledore similarities—Gandalf sending Frodo knowing it will kill him, and Dumbledore thinking the same of Harry.
-
Starting the movie right now!

I’ve never read the series, so I didn’t pick up on the differences. But I did hate the forced love triangle between Aragorn and the other girl. That’s another trope that’s hard to do correctly, which makes me dread it so much!

I LOVE THEM! I want Amyrlin boots.....

In counter to noodles... let's try this!
Cross! Pillow Attack!
Oh wait, how do I get this to work again?
Cross! Pillow attack!

Overall, this one was less enjoyable. The battle scenes seemed to go on and on forever.
The plot line was still interesting, and it kept me interested throughout the whole thing (except the battle scenes). I like the desperation Frodo is showing, how he’s clearly faking under the power of the Ring.
It’s very similar to Rand once the madness begins to fester inside him. I love the parallel!

I changed it for you. Now it's rotating. Not sure how it works--if you have to save it, then upload it, or if you can just copy and paste. Copy and paste worked for me. Or maybe this is another thing New DM is going to be weird on....
