  1.

    the "do not lynch" list

BFG - most obvious villager in the game, relentlessly trying to figure things out, distrustful of just about everything in a [genuine] way, I think is just way out of her general wolf range

Niniel - been both straightforward with her approach and is thinking about things in her own unique POV. very comfortable in thread. there's a lot of stuff that i know to look for when she's a wolf and it hasn't shown up here.
LedZepMan - really liked his d1 content, especially first half. has lagged a little since, but not holding it against him, they tend to be a function of time and not alignment.
Sooh - like LZM, not holding the later d1 absence against her; i can remember a few villager games where she got caught up with real life. her d1 posts were all great, liked her content a lot since she's returned to the thread.

For the love of TFB, hallowed by thy touchdowns, can you explain to me what content of his is good?  Looking at his ISO, the only thing that stands out to me is he liked that wall SK posted, which I didn't understand (and he then proceeded to ignore when I asked him about it).  Everything else is fluff and one liners I don't find the least bit telling (admittedly, in either direction).

I'm not ready to condemn him, but I really don't see how anybody can have him as anything but null based on content.

  2.

I don't understand that thought. I've never had concerns on dice for being rash.

    That's...kind of his thing

Maybe not rash, but it's more the feeling of the post isn't quite right for me.

If you mean the feeling as in...the idea... i disagree. I think dice abdolutely would try to kill someone for claiming scum and demanding to be lynched, and most of his reads are what I'd expect.

If you mean tone or something, fair enough. I don't agreee but thats mafia

  3. My wolf game was the White Tower Harry Potter game.

Not sure if that helps or not.

My town game was the WoT Kids game.

If you see any differences in my playing, I am curious to hear it. To be honest, I think wolf is easier because at least you know who is on your side. As town you are suspicious of everyone.

While I prefer the idea of town, there is a draw to being scum in that you can develop a game plan. Though with some of the mechanics of the current game, I'm not sure if that all works as cleanly?

By the way, if Ben was Mafia traitor, does that mean he was actually to help town? Just a bit confused over the roles.

    I love new players.

(Thats less condescending than it sounds. I promise)

Ben was a traitor in that he was a townie helping mafia, not the other way around. He didn't need to die for town to win. He could nt talk to mafia. They didn't know him. But he wins if they do. Does that make sense?

  4.

So sane cop town reads are now guaranteed, insane cop scum results are guaranteed town <3

Except the Framers are still alive?
Framers make town guilty, so a sane cops guilty result has a 50/50 chance of being correct, but a town result will always be town. An insane cops results are reversed

    This.

Granted, nobody knows which cop is which, but it should be fairly easy to figure out in a couple days.

  5. Not that I really know what I'm even looking for, but there wasn't a whole lot that stood out to me in terms of who mafia definitely isn't.

I feel comfortable saying Cory isn't mafia.  I think Ben spent a lot of time towards eod trying to make Cory look bad/discredit him, rather than trying to signal him to back off or something.

I would guess BFG isn't mafia, based off Ben's response to her argument about Sooh/me not being teamed.  Ben would know that BFG is correct and would know whether she was making a teammate look good/setting up a potential mislynch, and I don't know that he would try to call out that contradiction?

There was a strong townread of Leyrann that I thought didn't really fit with Leyrann's play.

U havent stepped out of engaging much that doesnt directly concern you. I dont see any real thinking behind your reads.

What are your three MOST confident reads right now? can be w or v, just what you are most confident in

Clov--has relentlessly game solved and been flexible in his reads without being flimsy about it

Leyrann--has been laser-focused on the game, and while not overly active, has been paying close attention, asking good questions, and drawing logical conclusions from them. I don't see any rational stretches in his thinking to support a push

Cory--has mostly chattered and spent the majority of his game solving pushing me because he thinks my town games have better linear thinking than I have shown in this game, tries to convince others to vote for me using ATE (come on, guise, pleeeease???) rather than laying out a rational case for me being a wolf, ie, lacks the linear thinking he accuses me of.

And that's what I've got as strongest reads--two towns, and an OMGUS vote for being pushed when I dont' think the logic behind it makes any sense, and the pusher did not even answer early questions. The townies thing you have done is pull off of me to tie the trains for awhile, and that could be show, but even still, my wolf read on you is largely contingent on how you've pushed me, so

He's asked some questions and I don't think anything Leyrann has said has struck me as off or wrong, but having him as the second most confident read seems like a reach?  If this was a normal setup, I'd definitely think they're teamed, but I'm not sure based on the kill/recruit aspect?

There was a similar, smaller comment about LZM.  Maybe I'm just missing something there.

The only person I feel notably different about is maybe I feel slightly less good about Sooh, because he seemed pretty...comfortable?...with her.  Not only in terms of his read but came across with no difficulty interacting with her.

  6. Still going through my re-read but wanted to put this here.

somebody quick! I need more votes!

Is he signalling to his team that he is a traitor?

    Discuss:
More likely a VT trying to draw the kill by fake signaling traitor. It doesn't feel genuine

Yeah, I would expect the traitor to breadcrumb. not drop a whole loaf and shout about it. I think he's just stirring the pot, but he could be acting outrageous in order to make people think that he couldn't possibly be that flamboyant of a wolf. I'll wait and see.

    still counts

    No it doesn't.

some play the game for fun.

some play the game for the social environment.

some play the game for the elements of strategy.

    some play to impress others.

some play for glory, validation, renown.

    me? oh no no.

it occurred to me post-flip that i wasnt going to just get hardcleared (and probably NKed quickly) by the whole game for leading that lynch. which admittedly is something i'm sort of used to. but my feelings galvanized quickly, because the truth is... i don't care.

i don't care about the townreads, the analysis, the conjecture on why people do what they do. it's not what i seek in this world.

what i live for is the thrill of the hunt. to circle my prey, let them kick and snarl and bleed. i play so that my walls are decorated with the wolf pelts of those who would feast upon me and my allies. i do not answer to you, to any other player, or to the mod; i answer only to the village.

and the village is safer today than it was yesterday.

    but tomorrow,

    the hunt begins anew

I want to reply with the lyrics to "Time Bomb" by ATL low but I'm currently wrecking some kids in Destiny.  Can you pretend that they're here?

  8. Dice, do you have any thoughts besides SK?

As I said to Chris I agree with what you said, and I'm not dismissing those thoughts because you (and now Chris are on him)

From what I remember he's been present a fair bit, but he segues into discussions on guns or football and doesn't actually try to game solve much. I thought his early wolf jokes were awkward, but tonal stuff is ? mostly for me

Probably going to ISO now, don't think I have time to read what I want in full

Can I get your thoughts on Dice?

(And I also agree with what you've shared about your read on LZM)

    I'm not on him.

  9. @Chris regarding LZM it's partly the stuff I was trying to explain earlier, partly feeling worse about other people, partly other stuff I'll explain later

Regarding Cory 'not being out of scum range doesn't make him mafia' is exactly what I said earlier. But the rest doesn't change much. Although I suspect I'll be better shelving this discussion for now :/

Then I don't know what you were trying to suggest.  I'm not treating him as confirmed town - I would have to be an idiot to do that.  I don't have him as one of my top townies - I don't think he's earned that.  But I don't think he should be someone that's getting a lot of negative attention, either.

Do you think my assessment of that read is wrong?
