It is such a shame that no one can read anything I'm posting otherwise I could have saved you from your "mistake", DPR. But obviously me posting immediately after you was completely invisible just like my posts now.

Marsh didn't make a mistake or slip, and his convoluted theorising proved he was Town, if you assume I'm Town, so you could have cleared him by eliminating me.

Dont know why I'm bothering actually *sighs*

  2. Now there are a few interesting things here: (Note this is not me saying where to go, do your own thing, I'm just explaining role theory here not trying to direct anyone)

We have a doc who can protect the cop, and if Dice is telling the truth than he has a big target on his back. Now naturally, this means wolves might not go for it, why bother they have a role blocker, so Dice is basically just town at this point if he's telling the truth. So now it's a game of bluff between the Doc and the Wolves NK.

At the same time though, if Dice is perpetually getting blocked then we wont have to worry about potential false reads from the Godfather getting viewed, so  the potential to accidentally deepwolf a viewed Godfather goes down since the Cop isn't... copping.

I don't really know where I'm going with this, but roles are about to go crazy yo.

Asking again, but is this not so obvious, especially for a player like Dice, where their should be very serious aspersions cast on the claim? I mean if he was mafia, that's exactly what he would've done.

Heres the thing, even if we suspect its false, we cant just do it for no reason. If it's a lie, then the moment the real cop reveals/flips we have one wolf caught 100%, ez clap, and Dice has to spend the rest of the game playing like a town/cop. Any screwups they make, any indicators as to teammates, all will be there should the real cop be revealed. So we lose nothing really.

However if they are the real cop, we obviously dont want to lynch them. Hence, there's no reason to not believe him for now.

You have two minutes to scramble

lol holy crap, what are the odds. Future reference maybe dont wait until the last two minutes.

Anyways, still feeling pretty good about my Heavy vote, ngl. Gonna need to do some wagonomics on Marsh's train as well, but between that and Heavy we'll figure somethin out.

Doesn't matter, you'll outlive me. When Heavy flips scum, I'll be tomorrow's lynch. When I flip town, people will look at you with much greater suspicion.

    Correct.

First time I read this, it honestly felt like setting up lynches, but it all hinges on heavy flipping scum so its like... Is it setting up lynches or drawing connections?

Tonal whiplash. Reading the thread straight through this morning, without having to jump back and forth between this game and holiday celebrations, it's much more noticeable that Heavy flips between aggressive and reasonable too fast. He's also sussing everyone who susses him like clockwork.

This makes sense to me, and is part of what caught my attention with Heavy to begin with

When I flip town, people will look at Key with greater suspicion. The chain of causality goes like this:

    Heavy  dies and is mafia.

Therefore Iron, who everyone believes is defending Heavy, and who recently flipped on him (which is easily interpreted as turning because he's doomed) must be a teammate.

    Iron dies and is town.

Knowing that, Key, who defended Heavy while sussing Iron for defending Heavy and pushing that narrative forward, looks like a manipulative mafia member. She dies next.

I really dont understand this. Why would we lynch you if Heavy flipped wolf when you've spent most of the day pushing him? Like sure, you could call it a bus or whatever at this point, but any wolf team that's bussing a teammate into the grave D1 is uh... not going to win probably.

Your top post there is towards Heavy and Turin, and you suggest potential scummates.

Then your bottom post just votes the person calling Heavy scum, and maybe even Turin as well (not sure if that's what Marsh was saying.....).

Do you often vote for people who sus the same people as you?

I was chill with DPR for a bit, thought he was makin sense, but this is a good callout from Verb.

    Vote:  Dice

I dont understand where this came from? I feel like there's been little conversation about Dice today?

Sorry for slow, was caught up painting.

All in all, I'm still content with my vote on Heavy, ngl. I'm more willing to test Marsh's theory and see where it goes for a day than shut down a potentially active and engaged towny D1, and Heavy was setting me off before anyways.

    OMGUS.

Of course I'd be happy to elucidate. I feel you are grabbing at low hanging fruit. Not damning in itself and perhaps not  even AI, but added to your nonchalance about eliminating a town player as necessary collateral, your overplaying the information aspect of my miselimination, it does give me the creeps a bit. Especially as we both know that when mafia, you are the man with the plan from D1. So wolf!Lenlo would be expected to have this kind of plan and given the low activity, low hanging fruit would seem to be the way to go. Not the strongest case ever, no.

Buddy, you're doing that thing where you question a reason someone has for voting you, they respond, and then you use that response to show they are over playing/hyper focusing on one specific aspect of the lynch despite you being the one to prompt it. The information isn't the main reason I'm voting you, it's just the one you're obsessed with.

Also I think the low activity is a poor choice of attack, since my activity has been fine ever since I realized the game was actually going on.

But then DPR flies in with a passionate and unnecessary defense. Seems a bit over the top.

    Here's the TL;DR

Heavy is scum. In an effort to be nice to what I thought was someone playing his first game, I made Ithi and Turin think I was defending him. Key took that opening and used it to push suspicion onto me while simultaneously defending Heavy in a more subtle way. They're teammates trying to make sure I go down next after Heavy flips scum.

God I'm going to have to read all of this during lunch arent I... Crap.

    Hmm. This seems suspiciously half-hearted.

I'm feeling DPR-Lenlo-Dice wolf team from the last few posts, with the caveat that it would seem strange to hand out that info so easily in a few short posts. So probably not 100% accurate.

lol, what was the acronym for calling someone wolf who called you out? And how is Dice even part of this?

You asked me about my reasoning so I think it only fair to ask you yours, how do you get this? I know you're very reactionary, you've never taken being poked/sussed well, but at some point your gonna need to figure that out.

I could argue that coming late into the thread, latching onto the only "serious" thing to happen, would also qualify as lacking substance.

    Just sayin'.

Yeah, that's valid. I didnt see the game had started and wanted to make up for lost time so I dived right in because I saw we were close to deadline today. You're 100% right that I havent contributed a lot. I'm tryin to fix that.
