Lol. Frankly though, in any closed setup game the LD threat should be standard practice until mafia learn to roll with it. The psychology is sound. Of the 5 original mafias only Gudrean really dealt with it properly. Darthe plainly didn't want to comply although he did. Hallia was ignoring the thread so was n/a. Dice got huffy about it and we saw Verbs response that I was too busy to actually read in real time. Then later both Verb and Dice used awkward language in conversation with Zander where the natural flow would have been " and I know I'm town" to imply they were Town.

Well, running up the two most powerful townies on D1 didn't help. The random there turned out to be terrible luck for town. It created a seriously unfortunate chain of events. Things could have been very very different.

I think it is pretty clear in the books that there are many aspects of magic in general that are based upon the beliefs of the wielders. Pretty much ALL OF T'AR IS WILL as evidenced by Perrin being able to nullify Egwene. All of the self restrictions created by channelers we see from needing hand gestures, or only being able to affect what they can see, or any other block created by wilders. To me it is entirely conceivable that Egwene could believe that putting the collar on Renna wasn't an act of violence, but only what was proper. I would have to watch it again, but.im not sure Egwene actually actively used the collar against Renna. I thought that Renna tried to hit Egwens and she felt the response but that would be a passive effect. Then Egwene doesn't use the collar to choke Renna, she lifts her onto the thing and let's it go. Her own weight is doing the damage. This is all layering the issue, but again it's all based upon belief and I think the books show how much the magic of this world relies on belief.

My understanding is that the actor who plays Tam was unavailable for this season so Maxsim is shouldering some of that load, as we don't have enough investment into any of the other TR folks. I think it's fine and if Alanna is going to be a central part of the story then males sense. There was ample evidence of danger to the entire village in the battle. They were holding but the trolocs and dark friends were gaining and looked like they would eventually wear down the good guys. It was mirroring the last bast for Aemon, but instead of fighting to the last and everyone dying, Perrin .are the choice to save his people even if it allowed some enemies to get away. Side question: what do the darkfriends do now. I guess they are stuck following along after Fain as no one will trust them ever again.
