When I first joined, I remember my mother saying she used to be a part of DM. However, I have yet to see proof of this and so I'm not entirely sure I believe her.

I only have ever know our lovely Elgee as Mother, to the point I have referred to her as such on Facebook 😆

I also remember being persuaded to attempt bonding my Warder before we were allowed to. And then being the only one who got in trouble for it ☺️

He has, he's seen most of the MCU. He loves them all but Iron Man is definitely his favourite. There was about a month straight were all he watched was the first 2 films. 

Taking my son out Trick-or-Treating. He's 3 now and hasn't stopped talking about it since the beginning of October. He's going as Iron Man and decided his dad needs to dress up as a dinosaur. We'll probably be going around my mom's neighbourhood, since I don't expect him to want to be out long,

I feel like it would be wrong to give any input since I myself haven't been around for a while, however, what I do recall games are a great way of getting participation. With the show on the way, I'm hoping to be more active myself.

The costumes! I actually quite looking forward to the interpretations that the costume department will have and I'm loving the bits we have been seeing.

Around. I have a cold mostly due to the huge winter storm this past week and now it's mostly melted. But, we're supposed to get more snow again by next weekend. Welcome to southern Alberta(Canada)! A place were we get a ton of snow and it's gone in a few days because of chinooks. 

Oh he loves to get into everything. We've kept the baby gate up in the kitchen to keep him out and we're going to have to get more for the bedrooms. He has figured out that he can reach the handles and can open them. The guards don't fit our handles because they are tiny and we can't switch them out. I'm kept quite busy with everything but I love it!

I don't recall who I have updated so you'll get it all. _wolfbrother_ and I had a little boy about a year and a half ago. He's taking after his father's height and is huge! He is only 18 months but fits 2T clothes, in fact we were asked if he was 3 or 4 years old. He loves to chase after our cats to give them hugs and attention. They mostly tolerate it and run away if they don't want him bothering them. His favourite chore is feeding them, to the point of going to the cabinet their food is kept every time we get home. I discovered that I'm a workaholic but I love my job so I don't mind one bit. Ownership of the bakery I work for changed last February and my new boss has put me in charge of doing the Christmas trade shows taking place in the city. Lots of paperwork, which I don't have time for currently, at least when I'm at work.  

First off, love this idea! And I love reading everyone's posts about why they joined where they did.

When I first joined, I was actually on the Warder path. Offline, I'm a bit obsessed with weapons and have identified with women in reality and fiction who are/were fighters. However, overtime it didn't fit for me. When I switched paths, I spent a lot of time between the Greens and Reds. Both embodied what I consider central parts of my personality and I found a place with both of them. When time came for me to choose my Ajah, I ended up gravitating toward the Greens. Greens are fiercely loyal to one another, give support and comfort to anyone who comes to them with whatever problems they are experiencing, and support each other with their battles. Each sister has their own battle that they champion, whether it is mental health awareness, social justice issues, climate change activism, etc. The list goes on and that is where I felt most at home. Whether that is because I'm the oldest of 4 and I will protect them from most anything or because it's a part of being Canadian and seeing the injustices done to those around me and wanting to make them right. I feel like there are always going to be things that can be fought for to better the world and I plan to in whatever way I can. As I've gotten older, started a family with _wolfbrother_ and having Michael James, I want to leave the world a better, more peaceful place for him to grow up in and it just reaffirms why I am a Green at heart.

I do however also have a Blue and Brown streak. I'm a big nerd, love Harry Potter, and lots of fantasy. I also love history and learning more about other cultures and peoples.

Hope everyone is safe and warm. Southern Alberta got hit with the cold snap last week. I've been watching it hit everywhere in the States and reading about the extreme heat in Australia. All I can say is ugh! Stay safe everyone!

It's been a busy year for us here. _wolfbrother_ and I had a baby back in April. He's now 6 and half months old and he's currently teething, which means he's screaming pretty much nonstop. I've been having horrible headaches the last few days because of it. When he isn't screaming, he's absolutely adorable and a very happy kid. He was a very easy child for the first 3 months and by that, I mean he slept through the night. Since we got back from Ireland, back in August, he been up every few hours at night but thankfully, I can get him to go back to sleep easily

Going to pick from the first book, otherwise I wouldn't be able to pick. Really looking forward to when Rand meets Queen Morgase or when Lord Agelmar telling Nynaeve and Egwene about Lan and the history of Malkier.

Nothing has really jumped out at me about Hallia and Dice so I'm not too sure.

I kept my vote on her because 

1) nobody was going to vote Verbal

2) I was still fine lynching tress

3) the only other person with a vote on them was ME.  Why would I unvote and let myself get lynched?

 

If you don't understand why we'd vote someone for not participating in the absence of strong scum reads (but while having town reads), I don't know what to tell you.  Especially when that player is known for hating being mafia.

I can understand that but I still dont like it and I dont have to. I can understand lynching someone for lurking, I've been lynched that way due to exams, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Tress was clearly trying to be posting and that she would get to her reads when she was able. I understand not wanting a random lynch as it could have landed on youself. Also, I didnt know that Tress hates being mafia as I don't play often.

Imagine for a moment that yesterday's lynch didn't happen. Now how do you feel about me, Clov, and Zander, just based on our content? All three of us have posted plenty of stuff that has nothing to do with Tress. 

I'm aware you can't all be scum and I didn't say you all were and I apologize if it seemed like I implied that. I think at least one of you are though.

At the time of dl I didn't, and still dont, like the push for Tress. She made it quite clear that she was at work and unable to post more until she was home. I've used notepad to do summaries of games and copy/pasted them into game which is how I think she did her big post. Understandably it's frustrating that she didnt have a chance to post an analysis/break down of her thoughts but I think it's a horrible reason to lynch someone.

I didnt vote clov either as I only had a slight sus of him and I think it's almost as bad as no reason to vote someone. If I had voted him, it would have tied the vote which would have resulted in a random lynch. Sure it could have randed on one of the wolves but that's a big risk to take on chance.

Once I'm back on my computer, I'll be going over who pushed for Tresses lynch as it rubs me the wrong way.
