I have to agree with RandA about your claim LZM. I don't see what you'd gain from claiming as town but if you're scum, trying to get some town leans for "that's not something scum would do" would be beneficial.

Yes I voted for ben based on a justifiable hunch that I intentionally pushed hard. I wanted to see if someone would call me out or ask why not DJ as well. Or why isn't DJ just as guilty as ben. The hard push on people when the game starts It causes a loss of motivation as town when someone tunnels on you, scum would blow up or fake blow up in my opinion. Town might blow up more often town would just vote me back. Which is what I was waiting for from Ben, but scummier fish to fry. There was nothing else that made me feel that way. And discussion would happen either way I am not responsible for what others posts, but if I am indirectly involved I am more than happy to move things along. And I have not forgotten about Dj's what could be considered entry faux pas into the game. Randal seems almost to happy to move things along. Nyn and ben trying to be game solvey really looks good for them.

 

But let's put things in perspective. You haven't proffered any reads. Just a vote. Several things have happened and you have remained neutral. Like a rock. Someone in thread said a lot more significant posts have been made than in 10 pages. So...onto your post

It is hard to follow the intent in this post. Your rudimentary analysis of the situation isn't done here. You have listed 'possibilities', but have not given your reasoning on why which theory is most likely.

 

To be completely honest I am not sure to who you are talking to in your posts. I can't actually read your mind, so can we go through it step by step.

 

1. Which posts can be town or scum alternatively who can be town or scum based on their posts i.e. Whomst are you referring to at the beginning.

I was initially referring to DJ/Nyn interaction and your interaction with Ben. Your interaction with Ben could be seen as 1 of 3 ways: 1) 2 townies thinking the other is scum, 2) 2 scum trying to distance themselves from each other, or 3) a scum going after a townie. At the time I thought option 3 was the most likely but as the game has continued I find it has gone more the way of option 1. You haven't kept hard on Ben this whole time, instead gone on to ask others their thoughts on the situation.

 

2. What about Dj's response to nyn is it town or scum? Which is more likely? and why.

I find DJ's reponse to Nyn scummy. In the last game we were in she did a very good job of being scum and was similar in her responses to being questioned by others. She also did a lot of "rereading will post later" posts and didn't contribute to the discussion a whole lot. And it worked really well for her.

In all the time I've played, maybe 10 games. The last game I played was the HP one in the WT and it has been years since the last time I played before that. The first one I remember playing was a WoT based one where I was Basel Gill and made to the very end and then died because the last person on the scum team was great and I didn't catch on.

I work 6:30 - 14:30 every day except monday and tuesday so I try to sleep as much as possible since my loving husband keeps me up late each night. Usually his yelling at the tv for whatever sport he's watching (soccer atm) or dying in a video game, which I get

First off, I'm aware I was a part of the mislynches and the killing of Ben and I regret them greatly but unfortunately it happens.

Second, as I did my reread, there was one other person who voted Dar D1 that we all missed by accident or on purpose, Elgee. Both LZM and Elgee are alive of those who voted Dar D1, and again, I regret my own contribution to that. LZM has been very vocal about his choices but Elgee has not. Whether that is inactivity or lurking, I'm not entirely sure.

Rhea - As I previously stated, I had not intended to start a train on Darthe D1, just to get him to answer what had been asked of him. Each person who voted for him afterward gave the same reason to vote him, not answering why he liked the Dar vote, so why are you singling me out? I didn't encourage anyone else to vote him, so why was I alone in the "opportunistic" vote reason that you've given?

DJ - It may be due to being a newer player or it could be coaching from her teammates to say that she's "rereading and will give thoughts later." Every vote has been last minute and I'm not alone in noticing that and I don't like it. Darthe may have been onto something before he was lynched.

Elgee - acting how she listed how she looks for mafia (staying off the radar). Either inactivity due to rl or lurking. She is on a lot of people's suspicion lists

Devil - not a strong read but feels off. not a lot of posts to fully evaluate

Those are the 4 I feel strongest for possible mafia. I do feel like I'm being set up due to my role in Darthe's and Ben's deaths and that the mafia is using that to pull attention away from themselves. I completely accept the fact that I'll be lynched today and when I am, look into these 4.

That being said Vote:Elgee as we all seem to feel something is up with Elgee

@Turin - I chose Ben because I thought, and still do, that Dar is a townie. I found he was being much too pushy trying to get her lynched. I sent in the action on my break about 5 hours before the deadline, but without looking at the thread beforehand which was my mistake. I didn't get caught up on the thread until after deadline.

@Rhea - how was it opportunistic? I thought it odd that he hadn't replied as to why he liked the Dar vote, until later on that I didn't see until after deadline. As for experience in mafia, it has been years since I last played because I only just came back to DM a few months ago. I voted you because I found it odd that yoy missed Dar'Jen's comment, that she made before your post saying that you found me and Charis guilty. As I understand missing posts because of skimming I will [red]Unvote [/red].
