The podcast that had the first impression reviews of TGS. Fantastic!!

My favorite memory associated with this site is probably a recent one - that of following the towers of midnight great hunt on the forums. This was one of the most fun wheel of time events I can remember. It feels slower now that it's no longer going on but that will surely change when TofM comes out.

For a further back one, just me discovering this site and the huge community of fans was also something I was very happy about.

I do live outside the US and I'm willing to pay shipping. It would be awesome to get some of this stuff.

My most vivid memory of Dragonmount is really quite easy to choose. It was last year. I was doing my usual "daily sweep" of my bookmarked websites and when I reached Dragonmount I was confronted with the words "I have read the Gathering Storm". Jason's post sent shivers down my spine and caused hairs to stand on end. I was already as excited a kid at Christmas but when I saw those 6 little words I reached fever pitch. These books mean so very much to me and you guys at Dragonmount are so fantastic at keeping us super-bouncy-excited throughout the months and years between books. There are so many memories to choose from but that one truly steals the biscuit for me =]

My favorite memory of Dragonmount was definitely reading Robert Jordan's blog during his brave battle with amyloidosis. His love for and dedication to his readers during such a difficult personal time was very touching. It also gave us fans a chance to send our love and appreciation to RJ and his family. Thank you Dragonmount staff, for 12 great years.

Two times visiting this website remain vivid to me. The first is reading of Robert Jordan's passing. I know we were all heart broken then. The second is the release of the Seven Striped Lass. I am too obsessed and impatient for more to remember much more, even following you and theoryland religiously on twitter daily.

Can I put two? Too bad, I'm gonna anyway.

The first actually comes from the site itself, shortly after I joined. In response to something I had posted, one person was being a jerk. Completely unbidden, several other members, people who I didn't know, and who didn't know me, came to my defense. Not tearing the other down, but instead, building me up. That's really what I remember best. The wonderful people, who can disagree and argue over the tiniest details, but still stand together as one.

The second is, of course, when I got the e-mail from Virginia saying, in fine, "Thanks for editing, do you want to join us to record tonight?" There was much wall bouncing done.

My favorite was the day the homepage turned into the amazing art of all our favorite super boys and girls! It remains the banner on the new site as well as my desktop background on my computers...

Also recently watching for the new ebook covers. That's fun too...

My favorite past time on dragonmount is the 4th Age Pod Cast. I absolutely love them, and I cant wait for there return, and of course the RJ blogs. I always thought it was great of RJ to share his personal life with his fans.

My favorite was being selected as a San Diego Storm Leader! It was amazing that Dragonmount and Tor allowed fans to be part of the book tour and signing process and it really made all of us feel that much more so connected to the Wheel of Time and it's die-hard fandom. I'm sure the Tour Guards are gonna have an enthralling experience as well!!!!

Well, I am a very new member, but a long time lurker. I have spent many an enjoyable hour reading theories on the forums, posted by people who are much more observant than I. Thank you for having such a great place to gather all the information you have about this series.

My favourite DM memories are of RJ's blog entries. I miss them (and him) so much.

Well, there have been many memorable and fond memories of my time here at DM. I would have to say having my novice dress stripped from me and then waiting for my thread to be posted so I could go through my arches. It was a group of us and we ended up swimming in the moat at the Warder's Guild to hid. I then went through my arches and came back with my new dress and waited for the others to do the same. I had a great time in the White Tower Org, now Social Group over the years. It is those crazy things I did as a novice that make me look back and feel good about where I have been and how many friends I have made here. Thank you DM!! You totally rock. Someday I wish to go to Jordan.com of D*con, but I think I will have to win the lottery for that to come true.

My bondings are also some favorite memories. I suppose I have too many memories to put just one favorite, but there you have it.

My favorite memory is learning that the book tour for The Gathering Storm was close enough to go to and Harriet would be there.

I think my favorite would be the review Jason wrote for the TGS. I don't think I've been more excited about a WOT book til I read the review of a fan prior to the book's release!

My favorite memory was winning the wheel of time Haiku contest and getting my ninja star in the mail. Epic win.

Finding the podcasts and thoroughly enjoying the discussion about each of the Forsaken. The endless debates on the forums is just as much fun.

My favorite moment was Jason's writeup about the memorial. I even put his post on my facebook quotes page: "The Tinkers and Ogier need look no further for their songs than the ones we sang to Jim Rigney when we gave him to the earth".

I also have two memories that I cannot get out of my head and choose one over the other. The first was when I discovered the things not to do in Randland thread in the forums, I never laughed so hard! Until of course, I discovered ask the Chosen, which made me laugh out loud in a public library where I happened to be at the time since I had no computer at home. Good times, Dragonmount is the ultimate stress relief. Thank you for all the past years and more to come.

There is not a simple answer for my favorite memory. Dragonmount leaves me with a sense of community, and a sense of excitement.

Even though Dragonmount is an online community, it is really a set of friends and family. This is obvious in the way that the administration works so diligently to make this run smoothly. The site redesign has been an immense undertaking in which almost everything you could ask for was covered! I am amazed by the depth of this project where everything from rss feeds to social networking was integrated.

It is obvious that Dragonmount is the product of passion and determination. There is teasing, even with other online communities (the outside US questions spring to mind). There are gatherings, there are debates, there is insight into the love of this story. There is everything that you could ask for and more here. It feels like home every time I visit!

My favorite memory is a sad one. The outpouring of support when he passed. In today's age and culture when celebrity train wrecks monopolize news cycles its nice to see a community mourn for someone who truly excelled at what they did. Mourning for someone who touched our very souls.

Favorite memory? There are plenty to choose from!

I am going to have to say, my favorite memory was being ambushed by 4 Aes Sedai and group-bonded as their Warder after only being a member of the Warders Org for about a week! Heh... good times.
