Why don't people read?

Explain why I was so apathetic to my fate yesterday, then?  Why didn't I move my vote to Lenlo?  Oh, I know!  Because I said he was town.

Your own logic completely fails you here.  You can't say the above without it also meaning I'm probably not scum.

So, is it worth noting that we could have lynched verbal twice now and we moved to Town? Blaming myself in this as well, just something to point out.

I don't like this post at all - you're lining me up for the lynch tomorrow, and we're running out of mislynches.

No. Verb is tomorrow. The wave of vote changes that followed my moving to Lenlo could not have been all town.

When I did so, I did not expect the huge shift. All I wanted to do was give both of my scum reads a fair chance. I still expected a verb lynch (or myself), as it was 3/3/2

Verb is town.  I'm getting scared that I still have to explain this.  I can accept that I was too scummy before, but holy hell how is my past day not clear to see?  The case on me is awful - it is just that I was wrong on D1.  That's it.  I made no excuses, I just accepted it and continued to hunt for scum.

But I have half the damn game tunneling on me, so I'm dragging everybody along while trying to avoid getting lynched.  If it isn't clear that scum are setting me up to be the final mislynch, then I'm not sure what else I can tell ya.

Seriously, let's talk this out now.  I'm obviously not getting shot tonight.

When I left the thread, I was the lynch.  I called Lenlo town, and left my vote on my #1 scum suspect.  If that looks like scum play, then please show me how and we'll discuss.

If you're gonna talk about me voting Wifi D1, then just don't post.  I was wrong, you can argue it is because I'm scum, but there is nothing "scummy" in that - any other townies on that train were also wrong.

So let's talk.

Darthe looking better on his re-entry into the thread.  AJ not revisiting his reads yet is concerning.  MrsClov at least mentioning it is nice, though.

I would really like to see where Tina is on this.

OMG Dice prob scum.  He has taken no part in anything.  No digging in and throwing his weight around - just sidelines.

I clearly have too many scum suspects, lol.

I'm not really stuck on my reads. I just don't believe MrsClov is scum and you'd probably be dead if I hadn't reconsidered yesterday. So you're alive and we're both probably not dead tomorrow so let's figure this thing out.

I don't want to lynch you or MrsClov. I am really considering Marsh because of his complete apathy. I'm actually not a fan of Darthe's reentry. Still not sure about Nini. I want to think she's Town but then I run out of possible scum.

Dice?

Marsh?

Darthe?

Eldrick?

Let's start with Dice.  I'm not seeing the characteristics in Dice that I look for in him, or in any townie.  No argument, no digging in, no wanting to make his stamp on the game - just kind of lazily going along with whatever, and posting enough to not be picked on.  Dice and I were scum together in a JN game a few games ago and we saw the town completely cannibalizing, so we stood back and watched it (and ate popcorn).

Honestly, I'm getting a little of that vibe right now.

I think Eldrick is town.  My reason is a personal read of Eldrick the man, not Eldrick the player.  His sequence of going emo and self-voting before finally coming around to vote elsewhere is a really cheesy play to make as scum.

The Ape burned me on this a few years ago and I learned to read the person behind the keyboard in these situations.  I don't think Eldrick would resort to a cheesy play to gain town cred, so I'm going to accept it as legit.  I don't want to lynch him.

Tina is tough because she hasn't been around enough.  She's laying low enough that it is difficult to get a read on her one way or the other.  I hate having a null at this point, but she's there.

Darthe I've already mentioned - maybe we can also talk about that.  What about his reentry didn't you like?

What's left is you & MrsClov.  Between the two, I'd honestly rather lynch you than her right now.  Something about your reactions to the townie lynches seems a little fake.....but I admit that fake & "fml yet again" can appear similar in a thread.  This is a gut read - if you're scum, you've played excellent.

As I said before, I have too many suspects.  Instead of misclearing, I feel like I might be not clearing enough.

I don´t know. Maybe I need to re-think everything. Lenlo turned up town and I had him at the bottom of my list with you. You have been almost lynched twice now but gotten away. And it´s hard to understand what that means. If you are mafia then there is only one more and all of the rest that avoids your train is town.

Just fyi, I will be gone all day tomorrow (listening to upcoming authors, yay!) so I will probably not be here at all.

You have been almost lynched, but the focus has swayed away from you twice now. I believe you are scum, but even if you are somehow town I think you need to be next.

For exactly the reason you described. That if you are town scum would be trying to set you up for the final mislynch. That most of the game is tunneling on you and I don't forsee that changing.

So we need to lynch you to clear everything up revolving around you. If you are scum we can use that to find your teammate. If you are town we can stop having so much focus on you.

I don't disagree. I've said several times now that his overall lack of presence worries me because he tends to vanish as scum. I'd say doubly so if all the wagons yesterday were Town and he could just cherry pick the one of his choosing

Any insight on what I said about his last min vote. How it doesn't make sense from a scum pov.

And to knock him when he came out the gate and hit Hallia with an uppercut when she was otherwise untouched. But D2/D3 were lackluster.

Also agree with about Nini. She makes me paranoid but when she does come around I don't get strong pings from her posts

I don't like Darthe's overall impact on the game. Plus I was salty so post lynch for him to come in and start talking crap was annoying. I want him to answer my question though about his associative reads. You/MrsClov scum? Never imo.

AJ. You asked for my reads. Any commentaey?

I'll get to that in a minute. Driving to work atm

What really bugs me is the driving force behind the last 2 lynches was AJ, myself, and MrsClov. I know I'm town and believe they are as well, so there's nothing to get out of that except town being wrong. And it's aggravating that it's not informative.

Time to make a Town block.

Not lynching MrsClov, Verb or Eldrick. Been consistent on MrsClov all game, Verb changed my mind D3 and I'm gonna ride or die on that Eldrick read along with Verb. If he pulled that AtE stunt as scum then his one get-outta-jail free card is ripped up and burned.

Leaves me with Nini, Dice, Darthe and Marsh.

Both Nini and Marsh voted against Hallia D1 back to back. Marsh wanted to "even the trains a little" and Nini was sheeping Bop's case. Both look kind of bad for this. Nini's reads seem to be evolving somewhat as this progress where Marsh is stuck on Verb ignoring him for two Day phases. Not a good look. Hate his halfhearted "Shoot" after the Lenlo reveal.

Darthe made a splash D1 but hasn't done much but play from the sidelines since then. Tunneling Eldrick is easy to do but not exclusively scummy. Still, not very confident about him being Town at this point.

Dice first to vote Hallia so if he's banking on the "I don't bus" meta excuse that'll be used up soon enough if he's guilty. Completely unprompted pressure on a teammate if that's the case when he could've just ignored her like most seemed to have been. Wish he was more involved over the last two Days. Don't really agree with Eldrick's point. If all the wagons were Town they what worry does scum!Dice have about which to pick?

Posted

My point about dice if both trains were town (using if cuz you don't know I'm town if you're town) then why would he bother to change? What could that possibly accomplish? All it does it draw attention to him.

The stuff in the parathesis is unneeded and gives your posts a slimy feel btw. You should stop that.

If a townie was getting lynched regardless what does he care? He could say something as simple as "didn't want lynch to go random" which is more or less what he already alluded to when he said he thought they were tied.

Not saying he's scum but I don't think THAT is the reason to call him Town.
