In a black and white world, that's a good enough reason.

However, I think him saying he was going to vote Hallia for her defense of Darthe (his scum read) is backwards. There was no evaluation of Hallia beyond that.

the choices of people getting lynched at that point were wifi and hallia(iirc), and the fact that he chose the wolf over the villager is a good enough look IMO for today. hopefully he'll expand his reads beyond darthe and I can have something else to clear him over other than the vote.

I get where you're coming from and I agree for the most part. I'd like to see him give some thoughts on the rest of the roster and what direction he moves in today, but I stand by thinking his reason for voting Hallia was questionable.

Just an observation on the Nolder voting Hallia for defending Darthe thing, but while she was scum, she wasn't the only one defending Darthe. It seemed like most people felt it was just Darthe doing what he does.

So, Darthe and Eldrick's post got a little out of order while I was trying to quote them. But Eldrick responded first, AJ jokingly cc'd, I said it was doubtful, wildfire added her bit, and there was a conversation about her thoughts on it before Hallia even chimed in with the stunning defense of "Darthe gonna Darthe."

Also, in hindsight with Wifi being the watcher it now makes sense as to why her first assumption was that Darthe and AJ were trying to out the actual watcher.

This is a pretty good thread to read. Lots of content, little filler.

I am ok with lynching Hallia based on her defense of Darthe but considering how many people are coming to Darthe's defense it makes far more sense to me to lynch him instead of risking a mislynch. That said,I will switch later if necesary.

So you quoted this and I didn't wanna go find it so I'm quoting you. It neeeds to be quoted on here again, this post was one of the most blatant excuses for a PL i've seen. Nol is pretty outright about "I don't like Darthe so i'm voting him" usually, and him using a bunch of reasoning to overexplain it and base other lynches on it? That never happens. If theres more like this it'll pretty blatantly out him to me.

Good evening friends, that was a good catch but I've no idea how ya'll did it. Especially not so decisively. If I had been around Hally would have been in my slightly townie pile, around fifth or so.

AJ, Dice isn't so clean to me but you are. I'd put Dice in that slightly townie pile as well. Marsh is there with him, and a reason for that is that I've never seen marsh make a big risky play. Your read there is backwards.

In other news, Nol needs to hang and so does Verb. I'd suggest wild targeting one of those two.

Hallia pinged me initially when she was discussing you, actually. And then I sat on it to see if anyone else picked up on it/began to suss her organically which is where MrsClov/Dice reads come from.

That's a reasonable approach to Marsh. That vote switch does seem a little over the top for w/w play but I want to be diligent regardless.

Somewhat agree about Nolder. I'd like to see where he's at with some broader reads when D2 comes around. Still think his linking of you and Hallia is questionable.

Post game I wanna see more on that Hally read. Also, I wanna see how it affects your Dice read today please, be clear about that if you will. Dice isn't standout to me yet and his activity is good.

Verb, I wrote what I remembered at the time. No re-teading or time for one. Will do one during the night though. Again, from what I remember, I will take a closer look on Darthe (defended by Hallia), Marsh (refused to vote Hallia) and Bopolis. I don't have Bopolis as mafia but I would have had him clear town if Wifi was mafia.

Saying you don't have bop as mafia.. do you have Marsh and I as wolves?

TL;DR Hally's game has been redominantly about Darthe. She sussed those that were against him and attmpted to pocket those that were against the suss.

Darthe is still my target for tomorrow.

You had an interest in giving credit to eldrick for his reads iirc, or at least giving them an ear, and you mentioned wanting to talk about it after day came here and elsewhere. This post though sounds more like you're sus of Eldrick and Len, though idk where your Len read came from. Verb marsh and nin need to be fleshed out by you imo, cause thats what I expect of you usually, and you're keeping consistent amounts of content, but I still don't know where your reads are really developing from.

It shouldn't sketch me out, and its def not the only thing, but that first line is wolfy. Verb in general hasn't done a good job this game I don't think, he seems off and usually he is... suave for lack of a better term. I didn't quote his string from page 42 cause it was a lot but there were a couple of things I wanted to mention, namely his marsh push and the following quote from post 821, which lacks verbs usual swagger.

"Dude......I was voting Wifi as well. If she had been lynched, I would be guilty of a mislynch as much as anybody else on the train. WTF am I missing here?"

If there's a single post that makes Verb scum it's the one where he talks about clearing up Hallia/MrsClov and then voted Wifi.

I think theres more to it than that.

Niniel, I don't get how you think I'm Fencing sitting on Eld, when the read has evolved over the course of the whole day. There was very little fence sitting.

I appreciated her having some reads that weren't cookie cutter. That said, you're lookin good.

@Darthe - These were the original posts that pinged me. I didn't like the tone to them or how Hallia was sort of playing the middle ground in the first one. She agreed you were likely villa but added the caveat of "but I don't put anything past him". Felt slimy and sort of overly amiable. Hard to explain.

i can't flesh out verb marsh or nin since they have yet to do anything that makes me think strongly one way or another about them.

I find it weird that you would expect anything out of me since we've played together a sum total of one time before this, unless you've played under a different name on another forum.

eldrick i just think is wolfy at this point. I just throttled back because i thought he was preparing to CC watcher because he said he had something to say about wifi and he wanted to wait until today. Since wifi died watcher that can't be the case.

Now that my initial excitement is over I might be putting Nolder too high up. I'll wait and see what he brings D2 but him basing his vote on Hallia on her defense of Darthe sounds kind of TMIish like he wants to set Darthe up D2 with Hallia's flip on the books

Shouldn't have to set up anything...

Darthe should be the obvious next choice.

I think it's safe to say that one of Bop or Verbal is scum, based on their late votes of Hallia. I'm not sure how likely it is that they're both scum with her, that being said, they don't have much interaction with one another.

I feel much better about Bop being villager than Verbal and that's even before Verbal's vote on Wifi and the late switch to Hallia.
