I just went and looked and Sooh has more completed scum games than I had thought so there's that I guess. Im gonna drop this subject now because it feels kind of dirty to talk about

 

I still think it's more likely BFG subbed into a scum slot than not based on her posts before leaving though. There was a glimmer where I thought maybe Sooh was going to start getting into things but that faded quickly with Nyn gradually looming over her more.

If we assume Darthe is town and is what he claimed, I actually like those late voters. I mean, they could have stayed put and kept the DPR/Darthe wagon equal like minutes before the deadline. If Darthe is town, a town/town wagon would have been perfect for scum to lay low.

 

Disagree with this analysis completely. Once someone claims and scum knows its true they know the reprecussions of being seen as exploiting that potential lynvh still. I think scum out of fear would opt for either decision. So I think the movement post claim is an unreliable indicator.

 

In general, that is true but the later votes came during the final minutes of the day - they had good opportunity to just let the vote be where it was earlier. And, these were not the ones who were earlier voting Darthe, in which case a fear could be justified.

I get the dislike for Eldrick's style but I still think he's probably more nice than naughty. Bop's reason was pretty spot on for Eldrick's play in Hackers.

Like obviously wolves and town are going to fluff post at the beginning of the game and by now most if not all the wolves have probably posted unless the team is like exactly Calder/Random/Pral. I'm saying the game is funny and friendly so far and that I like it.

 

 

 

The quips about Shad needing to get out more are probably nothing more than that so I wouldn't take those too highly into consideration. They don't bother me at least, I think that's just his personality to bust balls so null.

I get the impression Shad is focussing on rep more than this game. I say that because we are in d1, barely past (or maybe not even) the shitposting and it would be silly to spec on player's alignments so early because of the high-percentage chance that you'll be wrong.

What's his take away from all that? I can probably assume but what I want to see is the connecting of the dots and follow through otherwise it reads more like he's just deflecting and arguing to counter punch rather than actually try to resolve Shad. It's the progression that matters imo.

I think you're sort of misunderstanding the premise of the read. It wasn't based on any of your content as far as I can tell but purely for the fact that you had a third of the game's posts at the time. You're still leading even now. I agree that it's an easy read to make and is a generic tell but for someone playing their first game on a new forum I didn't hate it. And despite your insistence that post count isn't indicative for you, it kind of is. You were the same way in Hackers. Which is why I said it was pretty good for Bop.

 

All that said I get what you're saying about Bop making easy reads which have sort of bugged me a little but that's probably me nit picking and just being paranoid. Like his reverse on Nyn and why. I agreed that the reads looked on par for stuff Nyn makes reads on early (which he wouldn't know) even if I didn't necessarily agree with all of them. But he went from scum reading to town reading because she actually gave reads (which is null) and because she said she was copying them from a QT which wasn't very relevant imo.

 

I thought his sus on DPR was smart too since I was thinking along those lines but he adds factors that I don't really think are that important like saying DPR must be antagonizing Shad on purpose for whatever reason. I'm still hesitant on DPR but I get the idea he could be a villa so that makes me wonder more about Bop. Hence the secret wolf thing.

 

TLDR - we'll see. I think he's made some smart posts but I don't think it would be super impossible for scum to make the same reads.

 

All these posts have the same quality of either not taking a stance or hiding behind someone else's reasoning. You're not prompting anything on your own and it's easy to get away with pretending like you're having some deep thoughts when you're literally just triggering every possible thought path available and pretending like they're all equally viable. Town would take a stance eventually but you've been doing this so much this game and the ratio of posts with actual strong substance that town can take from to just almost general chatter makes me think that you're doing it on purpose.

Sometimes I muse a lot on D1 and it's been a few months since I last played. It's also D2 now so there is more to work with.

 

The first quote I am literally saying that I think Eldrick is Town and Bop's read looks good.

 

Second quote I am explaining myself about word choice. Also lol side note if I called out two wolves on like pg 3

 

The others quotes are related to my progression on DPR where I'm pretty clearing stating that I want to see his conclusion on Shad for all the back and forth they were having. Like I said then to me it came across like he was just arguing for the sake of arguing.

 

The post about Bop you could call fence sitting if you wanted to but I am explaining why he was my secret wolf which came before Eldrick's read and has a lot more depth imo.
