I think NB was looking for character names in order to be recruited(which makes sense because the main characters in the show are basically possible recruits to take over jacob's role)

if you are the guy who kills recruits then i don't see how you could ever be a villa; because you'd have to be the smoke monster and he is in no way ever a town character
