It doesnt necessarily increase the odds. It could drop the odds to 0% if they picked the strongman and elect to use it. That is why I didnt bring it up. So many possible combinations if they elected another option post recruitment.

I'm taking a slightly larger risk by saying this during night phase, as I was hoping to kind of avoid mechanics talk in the hopes scum decided to shoot someone else, but if they have strongman I'm done either way.

 

I don't like calders night talk at all. He not only points to his heroic defense of NB too openly, but insisted on discussing my night action:

Random prob never sent in his peek.

Obviously mafia wouldn't need to role fish here, but I purposefully stopped discussing this at all in case mafia were hoping to see if I'd peak correctly. If I named someone they knew was town, they could kill marsh and leave me unconfirmed while removing our IC. If I named a scum player, they'd shoot me.

 

I don't want to name who I viewed, but me saying all this likely kills me anyway, so I used my night action to view Shad. We'll see if I live through it or not, but if I live to D2 I'm coming for Calder, unless Shad flips scum in my view

No. But, I am not a meta reader so it doesnt really matter. It is just the icing on the cake if I have it.
