The traitor knows who the Scum are already.

That makes little to no sense to do as Town imo but it would to signal the Scum team.

Clarification: I'm not sussing you Zander, I've seen how you work when town, and so far this seems to be you trying to get the game going and get some reads on people. However, I absolutely will begin to suss you if you continue to show that you'll say one thing and then do a 180 on it when it suits your tunneling needs.

 

Uh...last game. He was IC (town). You saw him work. You even knew he was town while he did it.

 This is exactly why I'm not sussing him yet. But it's a flimsy pass, because I also have been very vocal about preferring to play using info from the current game over meta - even meta established in a game I was actually in. 

 

 

 

 

Random bugged me in small doses but I don't really have a head for him yet.  More things to work on.

 

 

I remember a point Marsh brought up last game about Random being overactive as Scum.

 

If that game he was super active and Town, I know its early but I felt last game his posts had more umph and substance to them then they have so far.

 Zander: Last game as IC he was twice as belligerent as he's been so far with his scumhunting. There's not a whole lot of activity in comparison, but he's not flouting himself as the town champion he was early last game. I don't feel great about this so far. Slight scum lean

 

@cass while I did dig into monstr a bit, you'll notice I never voted. I was simply trying to get into the small bit of gameplay actually happening.

I've only played one game with Zander, it was the recent Buffy game. Dice, Calder, marsh and darthe were there too. Zander was IC that game, so he was town the whole way. IMO he played that game entire different than he has so far.

I'm not pushing a lynch on him just yet, but I'm good with my vote for now.

As for the Sooh thing, I don't consider it jumping to defend myself when someone asks questions or points things out. What I DO and always will do, is to ensure if something's asked of or addressed to me, I'll explain myself to avoid miscommunication.Finally, I may be a bit less experienced with Zander than yourself or others, but when he was town that game he had the highest post count by a fair margin, and almost all of it felt townie to an extent - anti scum at least. That's not been my impression of him this game yet, so I acted.

 

 

More of using the Meta when it suits your need.

Yeah, you've mentioned this a few times. Guess what? I've already acknowledged that I have to concede to using meta at times, especially D1, in a game where there's actually a few players I have it on. I don't prefer to do so, and it's not my only reasons, but if you're going to FOS or discredit anyone for using meta, you're going to be looking at everyone. 

I was asked directly why I had said what I said, so I gave my reasons. By all means, keep proving my point though.

You have continuously done nothing but defend yourself. You haven't cased anyone, you haven't FOS'd anyone who wasn't already looking at you sideways, you've posted a ton, but it's all been reactionary. Call me out for having to use meta all you want, but the fact is you're simply not playing how you did when I knew you were town. I've accepted that I haven't experienced scumZander before, and I'd love a reason to stop this back and forth and spend more time looking at other people, but you simply keep pinging me time and again. Please, Zander, give me one reason to look at anyone other than you at this point? We've got loads of time before deadline, I'd like to make use of it, and I don't want to tunnel D1.

I voted Dice originally based off Nyn's early game play and then Dice's reason for voting me.  Tho as Ive stated this is weakest of my Scum reads because  I dont think Nyn would react like that as Scum.

 

Sock is mostly based on Eldrick and that connection post and now I add Sooh not Scum hunting into that as well.

At this point in the game, the only person I'm comfortable beginning a "town core" with is Marsh. I have town and scum leans on people, and I'll likely post an updated list a bit later, but certainly not ready to trust anyone as part of a core yet.

 

That being said, I do tend to gravitate towards people who stay active and keep things moving in ways that seem to benefit town / scumhunt. But that doesn't mean I trust anyone yet

Im not an expert on Scum Darthe but he's not doing anything I havent seen him do as Town.

 

He's also seeing what Im seeing so unless Im really wrong he's not done anything overly bother me yet.

 

Its not a super confident read but im ok with it till I get more info to work with and can reevaluate based on his continued game play.

 

Im trying to keep my emotions in check but just because you dont see the WIM dont mean it isnt there Cass.

I've gotta be honest: most of what I said sounded great in my head and apparently fell flat once written. Not my best work. I don't like Zander's play, and perhaps I'll be more articulate a bit later when I can go back, or maybe find I'm the one grasping at straws.

Might be the smartest thing I can say right now.

I'm struggling with the bold and your early call on Z. I don't understand how you move on him early and specifically don't account for a moderation in behaviour if you've only played with him as IC.

It was fairly generic, nothing he couldn't fake but it didn't bother me.

 

Star Fox was weak sauce all around.  I don't think he ever achieved much more depth than that and it got obvious as the phase progressed and he was still trying to stack up to the post cap via jokes instead of hunting.  He played a weak wtl on I think Roman who was super villagery but he kept it really shallow.  But that game was unique in a lot of ways.  He was angeled iirc and as a non-MU regular I wasn't going to be leading any D1 lynches.  He needed to survive to N2 to be effective and the only way that wasn't happening was if I was exactly a strongman town vig.  (which I was LOLOLOLOL)

 

He knows that won't fly here and he's at least sinking his teeth into things now.  His push at Random feels more like some of his aggro in TG where I thought his argument was garbage but it was still leading to his target reacting in wolfy ways.  I don't hate it.  Not obvious villa but I"m starting to lean that way.  I'm more interested in Random's reactions to him right now.

Eldrick's comment on keys to reading Zander is spot on imo. Trying hard to be objective about points of tinfoil this game and don't actually have Eldrick leaning scum aorn. He's less slimy in feels then I recall from scum games of his. Watching Sooh.

 

Calder and Random's response to Eldrick's Zander comment felt off. Calder because it's the reverse of my Zander understanding, Random because how could he agree if he's never played with Zander Scum?

Everybody in this game seem perfectly content with placing this hydra in scum reads, and there's not even a shadow of a thought to what I've been posting as far as I've seen. It's really demotivating in terms of sitting down and digging in.
