In general I assume it's cause I play scummy. 

 

 

I've said this before, and can even quote it. I only have one previous town game. I'm used to being wolf. I was trained as a wolf. I'm guessing I sound like a wolf even when I'm not.

 

 

 

By "people" it's just you for now, btw. Unless I missed someone's vote. Could you give me a reason as to why you're voting me?

 

More importantly, who else do you think the scum are atm? Is there someone you're not wtl D2?

Didn't have a problem with Monstrman before the vote problem end D1, and I feel like I can't just base a vote on just that.

And actually I had village reads on both zander and calder through various parts of the game, I just stopped trusting myself and then started thinking one of darthe/dice was scum misleading me so I was avoiding the wagons they were on like the plague

 

As it turns out, we couldn't get it right now matter what

1. Yes, you were right on Calder. And I was right on Zander.

2. You drove a Zander lynch. I did not drove the Calder lynch. imo you're more towny for this because you actually chose someone you thought were scum and went full out on it, where as I did not. I just wasn't going to vote Zander and was wtl Calder or Nolder.

 

Okay, I am caught up to page 49...yeah I fell asleep most of my catch up time meds...happens every morning nowadays.  Anyway, I don't think I can do a full catch up and keep current....I have some posts from my last catch up that I am going to go through...but it would be really nice if a few of you (3+)  would please give me a summation of what you think are the most important parts of the game going briefly from beginning of game cause tbqh I don't remember that much from it and it would be nice to have it all in one post

 

 

Euhm. See my comment to the post above? Other than that you would have seen by now that I had a train starting off, which switched to Zander & Calder. Darthe drove the Zander lynch, with some help from Calder before that. Monstrman switched between votes quite a few times. Nolder was a third for most of us and if there had been more time he could possibly have been lynched. Other than that no one has really been uniformally cleared i think.

 

When you're done catching up, please could you give your thoughts and reads? It's difficult to figure out what your actual thoughts on anyone is atm.

 

 

@ darthe: I don't suppose you'd want to throw out a summary for me, while I read the EoD and night to see if I can get caught up. Please....

 

Afraid not, sorry. Im a bit to RL busy this weekend. But, in short, nol besie calder and zander were d1 suspects that went somewhere, a lot of people floated around or popped in and out, and the game has no focus.

I think the game should focus on besie/sooh/believer/nolder for now

 

I like what pral has been saying, though kat has been conspicuously absent as his hydra partner.

 

Dice feels like he could have some deepwolf equity because he's played so many games before, but like darthe said that one post that he made that darthe pointed out was town dice to a T was the same reason I had townread dice so I feel like he's probably just a villager?

 

I've seen flashes of villageriness from tink, I'd like to see more in depth analysis more often, though.

 

Nego is trying and he said he'd do more today so maybe nego try isoing those people and let me know what reads you come up with and I'll do the same

Wildfire has been posting okay enough today to not get lynched I think, but I'm not 100% confident they are a villager.

It would be more getting in my face about it, though I'm sure besie as a wolf is capable of doing that anyway. I haven't read any of your games but I can tell by your investment and your attitude that as a wolf you're probably capable of fabricating a lot of reads, not backing down unless you need to, and giving the appearance of town.

 

I ALSO think that if you're a wolf as the game goes on you'll be less and less capable of mimicking what villagers do because of your lack of villager experience

Sure. Darthe asked the same of everyone; my reply to him was the general idea: "In general gist its that it doesn't feel to me like he's actually been solving much game. He's posted a lot of stuff but... yea."

It's difficult for me to share my exact thoughts now cause he was a town PR and I feel like an idiot about reading him wrong.

 

So here's most thoughts. After that I generally disliked the way he played; I believed he was wrong; I thought he was riding on the fact that Darthe was fighting for him. I also disliked his reasoning for voting Zander, especially after those that know Zander pointed out that his reasons weren't good enough. I know he wasn't the only one, but that included with everything else just made me think he was scum.

 

 

- alive on p4. his intro post slightly pings me because i don't know whether he's joking completely or just stating what he's actually doing. It's the "blending in" part that makes me wonder. for now, not alignment indicative. later, p9, zander confirms that he does it as either alignment according to his meta, so definitely not alignment indicative.

- starts asking his questions that i can't see helping anything on p6 - not alignment indicative 

- i asked him why he was posting the questions and he responded by asking me questions - which i answered p8. i took his answers as being joking but i don't get it. is this psychology or something? he finally answered sooh later (p9, #179) on why but meh - i don't get it.

- says it amuses him on p10 - which may be more accurate. not alignment indicative? unless it's some way of being in the thread without actually saying or doing anything.

- shaking things up with his first proper thought-sharing game post on p10, #190 - but not enough for me to say it's alignment indicative. he seems to just be asking questions at this stage, to see what people respond with

- P22: it is worth noting that calder has been playing with a sarcastic tone since early in the game, and I'm still not sure if that's him rolling his eyes at us thinking he's scum when he's town, or if that's him trying to hide the truth as a scum by explicitly saying it.

- #529, p27 still going on about himself being scum 

- #545 p28 I understand Calder’s reasoning here, even though it wasn’t necessary at this point in time. This was at Tiink who couldn’t give specifics yet (even in high posters) due to him not having been able to read the thread properly yet. Not alignment indicative atm, I think.

- Apparently his being “cozy” in the thread is meta for being town. HHhmmm? Posts on p34 by Darthe #668 and Dice #670

- Completely pocketed darthe #733 p37; still fluffing up the game

- #745 p38 Says scum are waiting for inevitable mislynch - yet is driving the lynch himself. Scummy.

- #746 Clarifies who the “we/us” is unnecessarily. Scummy

These are more or less my thoughts on him as well.

In fact, while I think he's a cool guy, I don't really enjoy playing with Calder all that much.

He has such a wild and purposely scummy personality that it throws me off.

I basically want to lynch him every game I play with him.

I can absolutely see why someone else would feel the same way.

In terms of progression I think Believer has made the least amount of it, so I'm good with him getting some pressure. He has two votes though, so I'll hold off until he gets a chance to explain. He can start with that vote on Darthe.
