Alright I guess we might as well just lift the veil in case there are any townies who haven't picked up on it at this point:

 

Sirren and I are the masons and have known each other are town from the moment the game started.

 

I didn't really have a plan for the way I handled this but I figured I'd have some fun with it and see if anything interesting happened. We talked in private and couldn't think of any strong mechanical reason not to be obvious with it and definitely didn't want to risk one of us dying night 1 without providing a firm clear for the other. I couldn't see any way to catch mafia by keeping it a secret barring the incredibly unlikely scenario of mafia attempting a fake claim.

 

Worst things I can think of happening is it removes two possible suspects for the doctor and paints targets on our heads but eh. It might even be useful to provide a couple really obvious targets for both sides.

 

If there was a stronger mechanical strategy for this role I couldn't think of it so apologies

why would you claim here.... I mean  it was pretty obvious already. at least you 2 were my frontrunners but sadface

I can't get over Laine's tone though. She talked me like I had something to prove. Unless she was really really not up-to-date and had a skewed view of my presence in the thread at that point she'd have a ridiculous amount of gumption to take that sort of tone with me as a wolf when I'm a villager

 

Though I remember when I pushed her in the Dragon Reborn game where we were v/v her gut response was basically A) get really frustrated and feel bad for herself --> B) start fighting it

 

But very different circumstances (I was cleared on the merit of lynching a wolf d1 and untouchable)
