Well, I don't have a whole lot of reason to stop it.  He's said a couple of things that sounded good IRT Cory, but he's fully capable of making those posts as mafia and he's still well within his scumrange.

Before you go to bed, one question for you.

 

I think you are town this game.  You've had perfect answers for a lot of questions.  Your reads make sense.  Your willingness to work with people is a good sign.  Activity.  Tone.  Basically, if you're mafia, congratulations on your win.  Because you're playing one of the stronger scum games I've seen recently.

 

But the more obvious answer is you're just town.  So I'm willing to sheep you, but I need you to be straight with me: do you feel comfortable enough with Sirren to tell me I should honestly just write her off?

Do you think, as mafia, BFG comes into this game and decides "no matter what happens, I'm going to outplay Chris"?  Forget about winning.  Forget about doing well, overall.  Just head-to-head beat me.

probably not? I think she'd be so caught up in the idea of being Mafia with this roster that she wouldn't have any pretense about "out playing" anyone. Particular players to level/pocket, sure. "Do better than no matter what" I doubt.

I'm still missing pages 10-20 something where I came in. But I'm caught up from my 1st post to now.

Town list
Hallia- I loved most her early game
Cory- has close reads to mine- I liked a few of his earlier posts for raisens, and have thoroughly enjoyed his ramp up

Slight town
Reg- I had him higher but a few of his recent posts rubbed me the wrong way. Tone reading him seems enefective for the most part so it's going to take me a bit longer here with no meta.

Sirren- I liked her intro to the game and if I would move anyone up it would possibly be her

Slightly above null
Sili- silo hasn't been game solving at all. He has had to defend himself for 20 pages now. I would like to see him more involved in other matters.

Kat- I always have trouble with her early but I liked her recent posts and her reads list I would associate more with town kat

Darthe is probably town. This is off his 3 posts so it's meh. I just really think his few posts were on par for a towny him just jumping in the thread.

Aj- haven't seen anything extremely towny, I will wait for him to get more involved. Good tone though and a did like a few posts.

Bfg- hasn't been her towny self. Though her play hasn't been bad. I just haven't seen any towny posts. She has asked some questions but I feel like she hasn't wanted to jump in the fray with alot of comments/arguments more just in the background, kind of coasting a bit. Probably ly a little below null


The rest I am uncomfortable with.

Zander has been off this entire game. Hallia had a few really good posts about him early on.
He feels less involved and even his catchup feels lacklustet, we are 40 pages in and he has yet to really dig in. His interaction with cory bothers me because he enjoys nothing more than being on a team with cory. If he was town zander would be joking alot more with cory about lunching wolves etc, while being wary and tinfoiling. And here he has been nonstop suspocious. No posts like cory you better be town etc etc. Sure I'm stretching a bit here, but zander just doesn't feel excited t play with cory here. Read ant game with them on a team.
Alanna has not been her towny self that I love. She is usually extremely proactive asking questions and keeping people on there toes with her wot, when she does them.
Her she seems more worried about finding someone to lynch rather than solving.

Clov I still have my problem here and I just disagree with alot of what he is saying. The only point I remember agreeing on were some about reg.

If you remove Sirren from this post, you basically have where I'm at right now.  Maybe put your bottom row about the top.

 

 

Then factor in me saying I liked Sirren earlier and thought Cory was either town or I'm basically awful this game.

Because I'm trying to figure out if I think there's remotely a chance that she's lying through her teeth about her mafia lean on Cory.  

 

BFG and I talk mafia.  A lot.  I can pretty much state beyond any doubt that this post is exactly how she would reach a conclusion of Cory being mafia in a game. I say this because she's basically told me on more than one occasion this is her thought process to her (correctly) reading him as mafia in the Matrix game.  

 

 

 

 

Cory is probably confusing me the most at the moment. There are posts that sound like Cory, although that only really means null, but the thinking in them are things I expect from town Cory (plane post about Cory early on), his post where he explained a specific post of Zanders he didn't like .

 

The biggest problem I have is the lack of transparency, it feels like the tell don't show Matrix thing. But for example he went from thinking Regy could be mafia to town with no indication of what caused either read, Cory's reads are more easily defined when he's town. Need to ISO to see if this is a consistent thing

 

Thread environment is another nebulous 'thing'. I don't really know how to read his 'mail it in' posts from earlier or his response to SiRReN. I know this is something he wants to change from his mafia game, don't know if they're more likely from him as town or mafia.

 

Beyond that his approach towards Zander feels odd, I don't understand why he's picking the 'post by post' catch up fight this game. Regardless of how he feels about Zander's approach it's how he approaches most games. Very minor, but why vote Darthe when he did, there are people in his nulls that he could have talked to?

And I know that she isn't going to very super confident in her read on him in either direction without double- or even triple-checking her work, so her going back to ISO fits with what I'd expect from her genuinely trying to resolve him (or me, for that matter, which she also referenced).

 

So I guess the question comes from whether or not she would make a wall of text explaining how she reached a lean on a pretty dangerous player that's not going down without a fight, when the number of people who are going to look at and say "This is, without a doubt, 100% Town!BFG" is limited to...one or two?

 

 

For me, the answer to that is no.  I think mafia!BFG would show some concern there, especially since Town!Cory wouldn't have been playing his normal obvious game, but to basically go and fabricate a post from another game/PM?  That's unlikely and makes me want to put her as pretty comfortable town.
