On BFG I don't have an opinion. Nothing of her content stands out to me and just now when I saw her with over 30 posts I was a little surprised. We'll see how she develops.

Do you remember when I said that thing about BFG where she made a read on Sili and it was phrased like

"I associate aggressiveness with Town!Sili, so I guess mild town lean"

And I thought it was wolfy because she was outlining the reason she's making the read over the read itself

 

IE

[REASON] --> [MY READ]

 

rather than

 

[MY READ] --> [REASON FOR IT]

 

AJ is also doing this a bit through ~21, notably on Hallia as said before:

"Hallia has a lot of early content, so I guess she could be town"

 

It's also VERY different from his take on BFG:

 

"BFG had a lot of content but I want to see how it develops, but I don't have an opinion"

I have never been able to read the thread without my personal bias and general tilt coloring things. I feel free of it right now and I am seeing things clearer.

 

I should have tried to get back into my head earlier than this but it's been a stressful game. Sorry if I missed things earlier, and sorry to Zander/Laine and Seph because I think I might have been able to read you both correctly in time if I was in a better headspace

Yep i wrote this as he was posting this and I misunderstood him... alas he doesn't understand me at all... the whole thing was... it was my first post... I wasn't contributing... I wasn't trying to... I wasn't trying to APPEAR to... I was just checking in... the end. 

 

 

It's not really an issue of understanding you.  It's an issue of I don't think Alanna was in the wrong to make her observation.  Other players are rarely going to know your intent - they only know your actions.  

 

I didn't mind the observation... I minded her saying that I was trying to look like I was contributing... and I wasn't... *shrugs* but that's neither here nor there.

Kat I don't know why you're defensive over me commenting on your intro. I just wanted more at that point and kind of got shut down and called annoying for trying to solve so I'm trying to give some distance between us atp. Last I talked with Zander he was thinking you're null for your intro so it's probably just me being nitpicky. Not sure i can appropriately explain my POV right now

Lainey... l'm not defensive at you really any more... Honestly you and Zander seem townish... probably... Zander definitely does... i don't read you well so i'm going to have to trust to my reading of him more I'm afraid. What I'm annoyed at right now are the people who are trying to take our 4-5 posts of talking to each other and make it into t/w, w/w when they have nothing to back it up. it's extremely frustrating and i'm not sure how to combat it. I'm also not sure what people want out of me. I've tried typing a reads list 2 times today... neither one I felt good about and then I got called away at work and when I came back there were 40-50 more posts which I felt made my lists inaccurate until I could read up... And i'm not sure with the way things are going today at work that I'll have time to really sit down and do a list like I'd like to. 

 

Honestly right now the only "person" I feel decent about are you and Zander.

Hallia is borderline.

Cory is meh.

Seph... bleh but obviously no one can read him so I don't feel bad about that.

Clov... ehhhhhh I'm leaning more town than null but barely.

Darthe and BFG are non existent to me.

Reg I don't know and I don't know what to think about him... seems to be trying to make a lot out of nothing more than helping.Which seems more scummish.

Sirren I have no clue about.

Sili... his activity looks good but he's being a bit whiney... (sorry sili.. just calling it how i see it) and I don't know how to interpret that...

 AJ I feel gut ok with but i'm not sure what I think about that lol... I don't remember what his town game looks like but he seems more towny than what I remember him being like as scum, but I could be completely wrong.

And in that I'd say Darthe, Reg, Cory are my gut reads.. I don't love it... but that's pure gut and I have nothing specific I can point at to back that up. (just putting it out there) And I definitely don't feel good enough to vote on any of them cause I'm just not sure.

I don't know that I have ever scum read AJ.

 

He lead a mislynch on me in the BT game and I think I mainly argued with him for OMGUS reasons. He is a mysterious unicorn. At the end of the day if we aren't going Kat or Wifi, I'll follow Regy and Cory

I thought Regy's handling of Sili over the ignore thing was good. Seems objective and being considerate that Sili just has some alien playstyle, which is true.

 

Hallia's vote is a policy thing? I think it's pretty well known that Sili gets into arguments like that and though I think they're counter productive it's not scummy. Don't really track her stance there.

 

Still think Kat could be a villa. From what I've seen in our most recent games scumming together she's a lot more quick to throw shade in return to accusations and her approach to Sirren doesn't fit that imo. My take is that she's expressed she needs time to process and I'm okay with that for now. Give her some breathing room and then if it persists into later phases you put the vice on it.

Last question. You also had Cory as a gut read - what is your gut telling you he is? 

Based on yesterday he was more mafia than null but ehhhhh Honestly with his stuff during our little spat I think he may be town. If we're both town and going at each other it's not in mafia's interest to try to diffuse the situation. It'd be better to just sit back and watch.
