I figured it would have to be one of the two since this is a basic game. 12-3-1 with it as a survivor isnt impossible, but I feel that's still pretty town sided since a survivor can't do any damage.

with 16 people in the game, it would be a pretty weird balance with only 3 mafia, which Darthe said in that post

actually, you saying that, Chris, puts me in mind of the WoW game where Nolder was SK and decided to shoot whom he thought the mafia would shoot so that he wouldn't be outted. We all thought he was a little weird but he got lynched the last day, so no sweat. It was a definitely risky play and kind of against his wincon, which is to eliminate everyone else.

a survivor is 1 almost guaranteed mislynch. If they survive to lylo or something town loses.

Yeah, sili mentioned that. He's right. You're right too, but I haven't been taking my usual extensive notes since start D1 so I feel a bit like a jellyfish stuck in a whirlpool? Doing things differently this time.

 

Instead of my usual look-at-everyone-from-the-start method (that got everyone scum, in my eyes, last time), i'm instead looking mostly at the ones the people i feel i might be able to trust are negative about. I still have the one or two that I doubt and I'll look at them too, of course, but at least I feel a bit less lost this time (assuming that i'm trusting the right people. please. please let me be trusting the right people.)
