My biggest question mark with seph was when he asked to not be cop viewed the other night.

I look at his claim - it didn't make him come across as more town. Someone with a mind for details knows a busdriver claim has potential to backfire because they're thinking about it from the time they find out.  They think about how to portray it better. Only, if he is a wolf, it was his last resort or something close to. He took a gamble there. Turin was at l-2. I don't think he claims there as town if he does not need to leave, and even then I think he frames it different - probably says he is a transporter actually.

If my role said Bus Driver I would claim Bus Driver.

 

I mean I think the vast majority of people aren't going to sit there and contemplate whether any alternative names for their roles have a more townie ring to them.

 

FFS if he is lying he didn't do this, and scum are going to put more thought into a fake claim than towns would into regurgitating their actual role.

 

Plus putting off a claim until the last second is not Turin's style historically.

 

And it allowed time for a fresh wagon to build--on a wolf as it turned out--vs claiming at the last second would have guaranteed a Besie lynch.

 

Obviously Turin wanted a Besie lynch regardless of his alignment, but I'm not seeing the issues you are with when/what he claimed.

turin's analysis is like my analysis 1.5 years ago, at least when he says she treated these two players similar, one of whom was town so the other one is probably town.

If there's any one player who's game I feel has not evolved in the slightest since I started here, for better or for worse, it's Turin. Just something to keep in mind.
